We grow citrus fruits almost all year round and we are open for tours. Please contact us in advance.
Me and my family visited and it was an experience to remember , the tour guide was so friendly and polite , he also was very generous and let us take home loads of oranges and he made us fresh orange juice. He seemed to love his job which made us feel like we were being educated by someone that was passionate about what they do which made a huge difference. I would highly recommend visiting the farm as I learnt a lot and enjoyed myself. I couldn’t pick a single fault with the experience.

The Cantinho das Aromaticas is an urban organic farming project, unique in Europe, which produces aromatic plants from seed to final product. The entire productive garden can be visited, and it is possible to wander freely around the farm, or, if you prefer, ask for a guided visit for groups. With an area of 10 hectares, we have 3 hectares under cultivation with over 180 different herbs. In our herbal tea house you can taste several different organic herbal teas.
Definitely recommend to visit Cantinho das Aromáticas. It´s a beautiful quite big farm, the surroundings are simply breathtaking! It feels like you are travelling around the world with aromatic plants, the smells, the flavours, amazing! An unique experience just 10min. driving from Porto center. You are in the city, but completely outside. For nature lovers. Bought a lot of spices there that I use a lot for cooking.

Visit our agroecology farm and find out how we produce our organic fruits, vegetables, artisanal bread, eggs, cereals, juices, vinegars, wine, olive oil, aromatic herbs, acorn products and meats, specially black pork. Meet our food products made from indigenous species you can discover, with your friends or family, in a electric car ride or in a pedestrian/bicycle in the Montado route (ancient cork oak woodland). Our micro-factories await you with the smell of fresh sourdough bread in the bakery, great tastes in the meat and vegetable processing units. We also offer a few how-to workshops (around cork, local breads, traditional portuguese stew, alentejo black pigs sausages) and farm activities you can participate (collecting eggs, animal care and seasonal harvests). Taste slow-food, locally-grown and countryside leisure in our Monte Alentejano! Overnight in Casa da Professora and Casa da Augusta with organic and homemade breakfast (half or full-board). Book a tour and come meet your local sustainable farmer & our cows! The tour can change as we’re a working farm, but you'll come along to shadow us. Typically, we'll take you on a scenic drive to meet our teenage cows, you'll pet baby calves, we'll move the cows from pasture to the milking barn & you'll milk a cow. We end with a picnic-style tasting of our raw milk, fresh cheese, bread & jam. Make your reservation by calling, emailing, or messaging us via Messenger.
The dairy farm tour with Gena and Juao was one of the most memorable part of our trip in Azores. We traveled to Sao Miguel Azores with two young kids (5 and 7 y.o) and wanted them to have a true local, diverse, and rich experience. Everywhere you drive, you see cows eveywhere so after beaches, hot springs, hiking, cooking, and swimming, why would you not experience life in a dairy farm?? It was the best decision. From the beginning, booking the tour was so easy and Gena was always prompt and clear with questions. Kids had a chance to make Azorean friends, learn a ton about dairy farm, feed and milk cows, drink fresh tasty milk, ride tractors, enjoy an amazing view of the island, and picnic with delicious locally made jams and cheese. As adults, my husband and I learned so much from this experience about local life, vegetation, culture, and how farms operate on the island. I will not drink milk the same way again. Gena and Juao are such wonderful hosts and made the experience that much more fun. Truly eye opening! Please don’t miss it!

Visit to the goat farm where they can be in contact with the animals. Then they will enjoy a traditional breakfast containing products derived from the milk of the goats from the farm they visited, as well as other typical products from the region.
We had a fantastic time with Ricardo and the animals. It was a fascinating experience where we not only learnt a lot about goats, the sustainable farming and produce, but also had loads of fun with the animals. Ricardo cares for his farm a lot, and is incredibly warm and welcoming. Definitely recommend this fantastic experience!
