At Vilminore, in the Scalve valley, along the Gleno valley, has been realized an Arboretum and an expositive place where there are descriptive cards of the botanical species (about 100) planted in the early years 2000. A wood where cohabit plants with different peculiareties Rhododendrons (R.Hirsutum and R. Ferrugineum), wild roses, firtrees, (Abies Alba and Picea Excelsa), aldertrees, beeches, marples and species which over grow the wooods of the valley from 600 to 1800 m (sea level). The visitors and the school-children who want a guided visit are taken by qualified staff. Next to the Arboretum become available grill and picnic areas, into a receptied and relaxed place, besides in summer, you keep a snack-bar open where you can taste salted meats and cheeses from Scalve Valley.

Winery producing organic and biodynamic wine. Visiting and tasting is possible by appointment; during the visit there will be the possibility to visit the cellar, the vineyard and you’ll have description of colture and winemaking, tasting our wine with some appetizer. The winery can be reached after a walk in the woods or with a transfer with a 4wd car offered by owners.
Luciano and his family gave us a wonderful tour of their gorgeous vineyard located on the outskirts of Bergamo. He very kindly collected us from the train and brought us up through the beautiful villages in the mountains giving us a full tour the region. The vineyard itself is just stunning with beautiful views across the countryside. Luciano, Gabriella and the lovely Marco showed us around the vineyard and then put on the most delicious spread full of local cheeses and meats to accompany the wine tasting. It was absolutely excellent. The wine was exquisite! I cannot recommend this tour enough, the family are so passionate about what they do and don't they do it so well. An absolute must see if you're in the Bergamo region. Thanks again to Luciano, Gabriella and Marco for a beautiful afternoon.

The Gatta winery , the old recently restored Dominican monastery in the Valtellina of Triacca’s family. The welcoming atmosphere, its excellent position and the splendid views of the local .Here you can spend a few hours learning how wine is actually made in the Valtellina: wander through the vineyards, visit the wine cellar, discover the elegance of the Nebbiolo grapes by tasting our wines and youcan taste some typical products, (cheese, bresaola beef, pizzoccheri,cakes..).
