Humblescough Farm is a family farm, situated in the Lancashire countryside with beautiful views of the Bowland Fells. We keep sheep, hens and a characterful collection of ducks! Our Caravan Site welcomes caravans, motor homes and camper vans. It is a perfect hideaway for an escape to the countryside. We also offer Forest Farm Activities for Schools, Family and Corporate Woodland Activity Days as well as Woodland Birthday Parties for children and adults.
Superb. There is little to add that the other reviews have not already covered. Humblescough Farm is everything we wanted in a camp site, quiet, clean, well appointed beautifully maintained grounds and toilets/shower block with lovely hosts in Dianna and Rob. We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay and will certainly be back soon.

We are a farm that lets people come and get up close to alpacas and take them for a walk around our farm. Whilst out walking you would also see other farm animals and also the wild life that frequents both the land and the canal that we will walk next to. Please book in advance using our website. Times are available on Saturdays and Sundays.

We run bespoke alpaca treks and experiences, where each participant is assigned their own, hand-picked alpaca from our herd of 50. To keep all our customers safe our current activities are all 100% private at the moment! We run two different activities, alpaca experiences and alpaca treks. Our experiences are suitable for all ages and last for approximately 60 minutes. On our experiences you will become fully immersed in all things alpaca, from a short walk, to hand feeding, cuddling and just generally discussing everything there is to know about these wonderful animals. Our alpaca treks are for those 16 and over and provide an entirely different opportunity to get to know these wonderful animals. Matched with your very own alpaca for the 90 minute walk, you will form an unforgettable bond and get to really relax and enjoy being in the company of your alpaca. To book please visit our website and checkout the alpaca experience and treks tab.
I visited Natterjack a couple of weeks ago with my boyfriend to do the alpaca trek and what an absolute treat it was! Prior to visiting we received text message updates with some tips before our visit and instructions for our arrival on the farm which was super helpful. When we arrived we were greeted by Sean who showed us the way to the alpacas. There were sinks in the barn which allowed us to wash and sanitise our hands upon arrival and we went through some information about walking the alpacas. We had the pleasure of walking Minstrel and Bono with Morty leading the way. The walk itself for the trek was beautiful lots of well kept fields for a picturesque walk with such lovely animals! The alpacas had such a lovely temperament and loved all the tickles we had to give. Sean was the perfect host too, full of knowledge and happy to answer all our questions about their alpacas. We absolutely loved our visit and would without a doubt love to visit again!

Beautiful views from the area around. Delicious cherry scone and cappucino. Reopened for the year, will visit again soon. If you use the tea room you can park your car there for the day and enjoy one of the local walks. Saw the new lambs. Follow the brown signs or use your Sat nav to get there. 2/3 miles from Garstang. It's been open for 15 years now.

Something new for the cafe to do a Sunday lunch. It was lovely. Plenty of food. The wait was a bit long but they were busy. They were still serving from the usual menu. There is a fantastic view from the upstairs. As always the horses are the highlight.

Windmill Animal Farm has been the home of the Slinger Family since 1938. We started off as dairy, cattle and sheep farmers and also delivered fresh milk to our local villagers. Then in 1990, whilst on a family holiday in Wales, we visited a farm visitor attraction. We returned home with some great ideas and opened our gates to the public on the 1st August 1992. Now our farm is home to an amazing range of rare breed and exotic farm animals and some of the best indoor and outdoor play areas in Lancashire. Windmill Farm has given us four generations of family farmyard fun and now, we want to share it all with you. Come and experience everyday working life on our farm and watch, feed and touch many of our wonderful animals and their young. We hope to see you all soon.
We made our visit initially to pick the pumpkins which was great fun are reasonably priced and decided to visit the farm too. Picking the pumpkins was really well organised and there were plenty of wheelbarrows for families to use our 7 year old lovedpudhing this and choosing her own pumpkins, the rain was lashing down but that didn’t stop anymore make sure you have your water proofs and wellies ! We then went to the farm which we all enjoyed the animals are very clean and well cared for, there were lots of knowledgeable, helpful staff on hand and lots of places to wash and dry your hands. There are also lots of areas to play which are really well maintained. The indoor play area is really clean and there are lots of places for parents to sit The cafe is lovely and well priced plus the staff were fantastic and friendly The only down side was the rain which the farm can’t help, it would be very easy to spend the entire day here even in bad weather We didn’t try the train but it looked good and we are looking into returning for the Christmas ride with Santa

Come and join us for a visit to our self-sustainable organic farm based near Pendle hill! - Perfect for children and groups or individuals who would like to witness a working organic farm and learn more about alternative farming as well as meet our animal friends. Fun and free! Everyone welcome!
Recently went to visit Gazegill on our way to a family weekend get together. There were 12 of us in total including 4 children and a baby and we had an excellent tour of the farm. The children loved looking at the animals especially the piglets - all well looked after. The tour was very informative and certainly made me want to eat more organic food. The farm shop was well stocked and prices very reasonable. We don't live very close but I would certainly consider ordering online. I would recommend a visit here.
