The Giving Tree offers a nature walk within our family owned coffee estate introducing guests to our way of life . Our small effort in giving back to nature by following bio diversity and sustainable methods to #savethebees and butterflies. Prior booking is essential. We now offer a picnic lunch with traditional Coorg food. Call for more details.
This is a must visit place with young kids. Our kids aged 10 and 3 loved the whole experience where they learnt about bee keeping, coffee growing, elephants, feeding the ducks, fishing and meeting the cows... it was a lovely walk and interaction with Kushi. She was kind enough to accommodate us as we went without prior information. I recommend talking to her once before going there so that they can be better prepared. The kid in me loved seeing the touch me nots and making bubbles from a leaf stem... all in all, a highly recommended place. Thank you Kushi for your hospitality and the lovely time today.

Mercara Gold Estate is a 20 year old coffee and spice farm 8 KM from Madikeri, Coorg. The farm is unique as all the spices are grown and well organised. There is also coffee processing and roasting at the estate itself. The estate offers a guided tour of the farm and visitors are introduced to all the different crops as well as roasting process. The tour takes about a hour and coffee is served at the end of it. Visitors also can buy some farm fresh products.
We were guided by Mr Ravi. He is very kind and knowledgeable guide who has a good knowledge about the plantation and explained everything about verities of coffee and spices. Enjoyed the plantation visit especially my son Evan he enjoyed walking through that plantation with Mr Ravi.

Join us at Dee Mandala Farms to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. We have over 100+ acres of land that you can explore on foot, through a drive or if you can carry your own cycle then by cycling. Emphasising again on the 100+ acres as guests are usually used to staying at farms which are maybe 2-3 acres in our experience.
Dee Mandala Farms is the ideal weekend getaway for a day filled with fun activities like gardening, tree climbing, swimming or just playing around with hula hoops, and a calming barbeque night around a bonfire. The hosts are the warmest people one will meet and are always so friendly, approachable and accommodative. Watching the beautiful sunset with my favorite people was the highlight of my visit. This is THE place to visit to relax and reconnect with mother nature.

Areca Farms are unique to the region and if you are travelling around Honavar you should definitely spend couple of hours at our Areca Farm. Discover the natural beauty of Areca Farms and take a lot of photos. An English-speaking tour guide will be present to welcome you and tell about various other plants in the farm.
A beautiful & pleasant place to have a walk between the lush green areca trees & colorful flowers. The place is calm & one can enjoy the birds chirping throughout the walk.

A farm is a place which is alive and buzzing with life all the time. Thousands of plants, bees, butterflies, birds all keep a farm full of life. The only sounds you will hear will be the sounds of nature....bird calls, the hum of busy bees and the gentle wafts of the breeze. Come and enjoy a trip to our farm. You can learn all about the fundamentals of farming.

Utsav Rock Garden is a ‘Contemporary Sculpture Museum’. It is an excellent exploration of forgotten rural empire of Karnataka, India through Art, Architecture, Sculptures and Modern Art. It has been crowned with 8 World Records for having thousands of distinctive world class Sculptures. It is well- known in Karnataka as an Educational and Cultural Tourist hub, an Indoor and Outdoor Sculptural Museum for a layman and an expert to take pleasure in art. It is a place of synchronization where people from diverse communities can get pleasure from it. It is one of the world's finest museums in India which spotlights more on Art. It is much more than just a stopover to museum (Tourist place) and an exciting experience that engrosses you in ‘Art World’ which explains the culture of Karnataka as well as how our ancestors piloted self-dependent life. It primarily showcases Indian traditional agriculture and other rustic professions through Art and Architecture forms.

A few cows and plenty of moos!A fun activity farm where you can meet and pet our farm animals! Climb up a tree house and relax below our store tree! A certified organic farm -we promote family bonds and picnics! We are not a resort and try hard to maintain the the wilderness of the place. You may not find paved pathways for comfortable couches but lots of fresh air and many four legged friends! Unplug and recharge!
Good place for kids and families. Very near to Banneghatta zoo. Vising the Barn farm can be a half day outing plan within Bangalore. Need to book/inform in advance. (get the contact number from their official site). Need to pack your food when you go. Very good activity for children. Many animals including Rabbits, Sheep, Geese, Cows , Fish. Children can feed and pet them. There is a 1 - 1.5 hr guided tour within the farm , with decent explanation about farming, animals and plants. I am giving 5 rating as this is a good experience for children from the mad city routine. They charge 550/- Rs . You can spent as much time inside.
