After a short historical tour of the Moshav, Yuval and Rona will invite you to their warm, Israeli home for what will be the highlight of your Israel experience. At their organic farm, you will be guided by the Zelinkovsky family for a pick-you-own extravaganza! The bountiful garden yields incredible seasonal fruits, vegetables, herbs and more. Once picked, you will prepare delicious salads, dips, and juices! In the winter, you will climb the orange and grapefruit trees and squeeze into perfect, natural, freshly squeezed juice. There's more! You will make fresh pita bread on an open fire. Finally, you will retreat to a fun, informal setting and have an authentic culinary encounter with the traditional Israeli Zelinkovsky's family. You will enjoy all the food picked and made, while washing it down with heavenly herbal tea and local wine. Quick History: Experience Israel for a once in a lifetime, personal tour with the Zelinkovsky family. The tour begins at what was once a kibbutz, now a Moshav. Take a Zionist history tour through the personal story of the Zelinkovsky family. Meet Yuval, the grandson of one the founders Yosef and Manya Zelinkovsky. Learn about Yosef's childhood in Poland, his Zionist activities and what lead him to Israel to build a wall and tower settlement in pre-state Palestine. Yuval will share what it's like to live, work and raise a family in Beit Yehoshua today, how the Moshav adapted to modern day Israel, and how they continue to live the values of his grandparent's legacy.

We visited as a family group of 13 of various ages and loved it. Tour guide Sarah was very informative and captured us all from explaining the history of the kibbutz to explaining how the bugs farmed on the kibbutz enable farmers to stop using chemical pesticides, so fascinating. As we visited during Passover we fed the organic donkey weeders Matzah! The food was delicious and a wide variety. A really special kibbutz!

A small factory that produces handmade "Silan" (Dates honey) from local Majhul dates. This is an indoors tour, accessible to everyone. The length of the tour is one hour during which you will see and understand the unique manufacturing process and test the pure and healthy product - the Silan. Nevo's Silan has a rich aroma, similar to the home made product made in former generations.
