We visited on 25 Nov and it was drizzling. The staff said we could use the umbrella to visit the apple orchard. Picking apples cost 1500 yen per person. Glad we decided to go for it despite the rain. The orchard was not muddy, so we could still walk around to pick apples. It was fun! They have 3 species of apples but only fuji apples are still on the trees. Others have dropped. Each person could eat as many as we can in the orchard and bring 3 apples home. I've picked strawberries before and I think apples are much more fun to pick.
