It was so clean and tidy, I have never stayed somewhere so well equipped it had everything you needed and more. We took our dogs with us and the back garden was so well secured you had no worries of them getting out. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a 3 night break away and are so pleased with our choice of places to stay. Couldn't have picked anywhere else that provided such beautiful quiet surroundings. Clean and comfortable with everything you could possible think of available. Sarah was very helpful and on 2 nights we ate in and ordered the meals which were brought to us - they were very tasty and plentiful and highly recommended. We loved the use of the pool and sauna and hope to book again next year if not sooner.

2 x 3 bed cottages. The Shippon and The Applebarn.
This was our second year running returning to The Shippon! It is perfect! Lovely living accommodation, comfy beds, very well equipped kitchen. Outside has plenty of space with spectacular views. So much to do locally, we never travelled far. Hosts are very friendly and very approachable! Thank you again for a fabulous holiday!

Self Catering accommodation in converted barns at East Trenean Farm near Looe, Cornwall. We are open year round with short breaks available outside of the peak periods. The Corn Barn sleeps 8 people in four bedrooms. The Threshing Barn sleeps 6 people in three bedrooms. The Water Mill sleeps 4 in two bedrooms and the Linhay sleeps 2 in one very spacious bedroom. All the barns have been recently converted and offer exceptionally comfortable accommodation. We are not a working farm, but we do have our own chickens (providing truly free range eggs) and sheep in the fields (most of the time). We have a great 8 person hot tub in the grounds with fabulous views down the valley and a distant glimpse of the sea. This is a great place for a relaxing break with family or friends. However, we don't accept bookings from groups looking for a party venue !
The home beat all our expectations. The home was so clean, every room felt new. A lot of thought has been put in, little things like a good selection of books, Wii unit and games for the kids, a Fireplace with logs, as it was easter even an easter egg. We had planned to spend most of our time experiencing Cornwall, but the kids insisted they wanted one day at home enjoying all of Threshing Barn. Ended up spending the day enjoying the farm, books, Wii, a load of board games (in front of the log fire) and finishing the night stargazing in the Hot Tub. Big Thank you to Gareth and Jane

Sustainable getaways available all year round on the North Devon Cornish coast on the Hartland Peninsula. Loveland is an eco retreat with a difference!
Whaaaaaaaat a stay! We spent 3 nights in Stargazer Pod and 2 in Hartland Pod and had the best time ever! First time I've switched off completely in about 3 years, this place is just magical! Would love to return again, would be hard to choose which pod, might sway a little towards Hartland but both tick every box. Loved it! Thank you for having us, nicest hosts ever too!

A fabulous holiday destination only 2 miles from the sandy beaches of Mablethorpe. Grange Farm Park is an award winning, quality holiday park set within 15 acres of park offering accommodation to suit all budgets and requirements. At Grange Farm Park you can enjoy the use of two well stocked fishing lakes, an ever-expanding children's play area with pedal go-karts, laundry facilities and use The Stables Bar & Restaurant. Well behaved dogs are welcome in all accommodation except two of the lodges. (Breeze Lodge and Badgers Den, and also Room 1 - 3). You can find 7 cosy cottages, together with 7 top of the range caravans; all of which are fabulously stylish and comfortable. There is a fantastic choice of 7 lodges all with private hot tubs (and one with a private sauna), all of which are furnished and decorated to a modern and stylish finish. If you are looking for a one or two night stay then the superior luxury rooms are perfect for just that. There are super king rooms and family/twin rooms, some with private hot tubs, and some a paved patio area perfect for bringing the pooches, they featured in 2021 Channel 4, Four in a Bed as WINNERS. If you are looking for something a little different that a typical overnight stay, we have 5 new Glamping Pods with private hot tubs available to book for one or more nights.
This is a genuinely honest review.. We booked a last minute stay here just as a get away with the kids. We wanted to go to the seaside but also stay somewhere nice. The lodge was very clean, and when I say clean, it was immaculate & I am fussy. Even the shower screens were pristine! The restaurant on-site is good. Breakfast was ok and convenient. Evening specials meal was fantastic. They say they offer 10% discount, twice we didn’t get any discount applied to our meals, but once we did so not very consistent. The outdoor area is fab for the kids to run around and make friends. One major disappointment for us was that they do not provide wifi in the lodges, in my opinion, in this day and age it should be included especially as there is no internet signal available. Unfortunately one of our children was poorly and we needed to get emergency Calpol at 1:30am, having no internet meant we could not find any local 24 hour garages. We ended up driving for 45 minutes each way in the middle of the night - simple fix would have been internet so we could see where was open but instead we had to drive to Mablethorpe and then back and then back to Louth to find somewhere open. Overall we did enjoy our stay, and the kids had a great time. They enjoyed riding the little trikes that they kindly lend to the children to ride around on, and they loved the park as there’s so much to do for them - (we have 2 girls aged 5 and 3). They made friends with the little dog that lives there too, I think her name is Pip. She is very friendly and likes having the tennis ball thrown for her.

A delightful Grade II listed Farm House in pretty peak district village. This farm house is ideal for families who want to holiday together, a reunion of friends or for people who want a special occasion. Carsington provides a great place to base yourself to explore the Peak District.Stag and Hen groups welcome.
We have just returned from a weekend stay at Swiers Farm House in the village of Carsington and it did not disappoint. It was the 2nd time we have stayed in this beautiful character property - and we have also stayed in the adjacent Emily Barn on a previous trip. Having stayed with different groups of friends here in the past, I recommended Swiers Farm House to our family as the location for a surprise 80th birthday weekend for my father and the family - 14 of us in total. There was plenty of space for everyone, including bedrooms, around the dining table and in the 1st floor lounge. Owners Doug & Val are welcoming and very accommodating hosts, texting ahead of our arrival to confirm the heating was on and where to get the key etc. And arranging to show us round the house on arrival. Overall, communication was excellent in relation to exchanges regarding the booking / arrangements prior to our visit and also after our stay (confirming the £150 breakages deposit had been refunded). Any questions we had during our stay were answered (eg. where to get extra logs for the open fire) as they live on site. There were 5 parking spaces in front of the house - we had 6 cars & Val kindly moved her car so that we could all park in the courtyard in front of the house. The Farmhouse itself is a 20 minute amble from the Carsington Water and about a 30 minute walk from the visitors centre and cafe - so a perfect location. We also booked into The Miners Arms across the road from the Farmhouse - well worth a visit, excellent home cooked food & service. We were able to ‘move in’ early in the Friday (from 12) and there was no rush to ‘check out’ on the Sunday - we really could relax and make a full weekend of it. The Farmhouse really caters for bigs groups - 2 ovens, 2 fridges, lots of crockery & table/seating for everyone. The property is packed with 300 year old charm inside & out, from the antique furniture to the architecture ... be prepared for the creaks, low beams and narrow staircase up to the 2nd floor bedrooms (watch your footing and head!). I would have no problem in returning again in the future or recommending either property for the perfect rural getaway into the Peak District - thanks Doug & Val!

Folly Hall Farm is a small family run campsite on the North York Moor, but close to Whitby too. It also has Bed and Breakfast accommodation in a converted stable block.
Located in the stunning North Yorkshire Moors, Folly Hall Farm is a true gem. A beautifully restored stable block converted into a luxurious 5* B&B. Lovely big comfortable bed, amazing bathroom with roll top bath & separate large shower. The hosts Sally & Michael stock the room with all the little details you might forget from toothbrushes to insect repellent. Nothing is missed. The room is cleaned to a very high standard. Breakfast is lovely & all good quality products. If you are as lucky as we were, you can sit out in the lovely courtyard eating breakfast looking over the lovely views. A great base for travelling to Whitby or Robin Hoods Bay. Equally if you just want a luxurious quiet break, Folly Hall Farm has it all. Sally & Michael are great hosts & will go out of their way to accommodate any requests. We will definitely be going back.

Where art and organic farming meet. Friendly and comfortable country cottages on our organic dairy farm in the English Peak District National Park. We have wifi and glorious views. You can stay in little romantic Beechenhill Cottage for two or warm and comfortable (wheelchair accessible) Cottage by the Pond for six or The Old Wash House, recently renovated cottage for 2 (+ 2 by arrangement). We're passionate about our place and enabling you to enjoy it best. We have a Swedish style hot tub and wood fired barrel sauna (all book-ahead please) and miles of walks from the door.
We have just returned from a 5 night stay at the 3 bedroom cottage (Cottage by the Pond) and I have to say it far surpassed our expectations! What an incredible spot and the place was so comfortable and cosy! We just didn’t want to leave! I actually think that the photos don’t do it justice! We had such a brilliant time exploring the area, doing the Dovedale Steps walk, the Roaches walk and venturing a little further to Matlock Bath to visit The Heights of Abraham. I wish we had stayed longer! Whilst the southern tip of the Peaks, it’s a fab place to base yourself to explore all the stunning scenery the area has to offer. We were made to feel extremely welcome on arrival and comfortable during our stay. If you are eco conscious this organic farm ticks so many boxes! We have stayed on other farms previously and they have always been noisy and smelly but this one was neither, just idyllic and beautifully situated to enjoy incredible views. The WiFi is slightly patchy but that didn’t matter as I was there to relax, not be on my phone all the time! My only regret is that I didn’t book it for longer! As a family of 5 I have to say this was one of our favourite ever set catering cottages we have ever stayed in.
