Definitely the place to be, excellent food presentation, they go the extra mile to make it into something special and delicious taste. We decided to walk from our accommodation to this restaurant, it is a fair distance out of town center but it was worth every step.

De Babbel is a real family business, Michael and Monique reopened this place since March 2012. Grand-father Bram bakes the best apple-pies to go with your coffee and some other members of the family help where they can. Our cosy 'eetcafé', a dutch name fo
Stopped for a drink at De Babbel twice during our long weekend at Zouteland. It is the last bar/restaurant along the main drag of the town. We chose it because the seating was a little more spacious than the other bars close by, where chairs and tables closely packed together. Being on the corner, it was quite windy. Service was prompt and prices similar to the other bars in the town. We did not eat here, but food looked very good. A nice place to sit and watch the world go by. It tended to get busy around 5pm when holiday makers came off the beach.

An informal place where kids can play around and adults can enjoy simple, well cooked dishes. I can recommend their delicious spare ribs (marinated, it's often the case in NL) and their seasonal sea-mains. Decent choice of beers, somewhat weak on the wine side. Personnel is very attentive and efficient. It's a little away from town center but easily reachable by bike on a safe pad away from car traffic.Highly recommended to pass relaxed, quality time with family and leave with a smile on your face.

Visit this beach pavilion The Zeeland Riviera for the most delicious traditional French fries of the Netherlands and the most beautiful sunset on the lovely terrace. Check out the live webcam on their website for a magnificent panorama.
We love this beach place. It has a great terrace to watch the sunset, while having a glass of wine. The rose and white are very affordable and brought to us by super people.

For what local restaurants in this region offer, Chill's menu offers between mid-range and luxury - and pricing is quite well. The dishes have at times an Asian twist with well known Zeeuwse flavours, making it comfortable and surprising. Dishes were plated really well. Even the dame blanch, normally a simple dessert, was exceptional. Very friendly service as well, and location in the middle of Zoutelande, about 2 minutes from the beach. Definitely will eat here again this summer.

Second visit, I think BRAM openend Autumn of 2016. Excellent homemade Tiramisu! They get the details right: good location close to the beach and parking. Warm inside. Comfortable seating. Quick service. Very delicious food. Pleasant atmosphere. Clean restrooms. Hopefully a third visit soon :-)

We arrived there quite late. The waiting staff was just amazing. They were genuinely friendly and interested in us. They took particular care with my elderly parents. The food was plentiful and nice. The restaurant is nicely located.

We went here for dinner after a long walk on the beach after reading good reviews on TripAdvisor. The restaurant was nicely decorated and warm. The waitress was very friendly and offered excellent service. As a starter we ordered ciabatta with tapenade which we really liked. The tapenade was really tasty. Our main courses were pizza's. Not the best pizza's we ever had; they were nice but not very crunchy. But definitely a nice restaurant to go to when you are in the area.

We had dinner with friends here. The quality of the food was excellent and the prices reasonable. Will be back very soon when we are again in Holland

I know the Italians don't eat Pizza or Pasta for main course... but the food they serve at La Vita Bella is delicious. We had one plate of sardines between 2 of us. The moment we walked in the door we saw that the portions were more than generous. Our sardines were nicely grilled and served in a bit of olive oil with garlic, peppers and spring onions, accompanied by some bread and garlic butter. We then had a salad (my wife) with prawns and beef, which was very tender and tasty. I had a spaghetti with prawns and salmon in a creamy gorgonzola sauce. A lovely dish. We had coffee's afterwards and my espresso was up to Italian standard, Excellent. The bottle of white Sicilian house wine we had was also excellent, much more flavour than most white house wines. The service was also prompt, polite, knowledgeable and charming. What more can you ask for???
