We went for a business dinner with a sizeable group (about 20), we got both hot and cold tapas, then a main (both fish and meat available in the menu) and dessert. All was very good, service friendly and attentive, the place was colourful but not too noisy, overall a very pleasant evening in a relaxed atmosphere. Some local colleagues already knew it, and were happy with the choice. I did not see the bill, but the prices on the menu looked reasonable. I can recommend El Patio, and will be happy to go back if there is the opportunity.

The restaurant is located in the pedestrian area of Brühl. The have an inside and an outside sitting area. The place has new and modern furniture. The decoration is tasteful. We had the starters platter for beginning which has 7-8 Greek specialities, very yummy. As main dish we had fish which was good too. With it we had a Greek wine which is imported by the restaurant and which was good too. The service is very kind and professional.

The restaurant "Zum Ãsterreicher" is very nice. The food is austrian, the staff is austrian and the atmosphere is austrian. If you like this, you have to go there!

We had a small family gathering last March as I was visiting from the United States. There were probably 15-20 of us in total. Obviously we had made reservations in advance. This restaurant made our gathering a success. The staff were very warm and friendly. Very accommodating to special request, got all of our orders correct. How they kept track of who ordered what is beyond me. But the did have 2-3 waiters waiting on all of us. The atmosphere was comfortable and nicely decorated. The place was very clean. I ordered a steak with cream & caper sauce with fries. I like my steaks blue-rare and they cooked it to perfection. Absolutely delicious. The fries were thin fries. In the US we'd call them shoestring potatoes. They were crispy and hot. Cooked perfectly. Many of us had ordered steaks. Some with bernaise, or a red wine & beef reduction, or burre blanc, etc. All were perfectly cooked to order. I was thoroughly impressed by the chef's ability to turn out so many and each cooked perfectly to order. The steaks themselves were typical European style steaks. Smaller than what you'd typically get in the US. Certainly wasn't a T-Bone or rib-eye. The cuts are different from the cuts in the US so I'm not sure what cut I had. I would describe it as similar to a larger size fillet mignon. They were certainly adequate and I left full. My brother-in-law across the table had ordered their Jägerschnitzel mit Kartoffelpüree (pork cutlet with mushroom, wine & cream sauce and mashed potatoes). It looked absolutely wonderful and got his total approval. After dinner we all had a round or pear schnapps which topped off a wonderful meal perfectly. We did not order dessert as Mom had homemade cake, coffee and cognac waiting for us at the house. I would highly recommend this place. They were great.
