Only 15 minutes drive from Stuttgart, in a small wine-growing village, in a residential street, you will find this restaurant. The cook/owner has Greek roots as his name shows. His cooking is first rate with Greek touches throughout but make no mistake, this is not a Moussaka and Souvlaki joint but a French-style haute cuisine with Greek ingredients thrown in. I had suckling pig, my son had scallops. Greek yoghurt and olives are added when deemed appropriate. This place has recently acquired a Michelin star and the accolade of best foreign restaurant. It's small so booking is essential. Drink local wines from the village but of course there is also a choice of Greek wines. Expensive but not ridiculously so for a Michelin star restaurant. The address is Gartenstrasse not Tannäckerstrasse which is round the corner.

Surrounded by beautiful win yards the Traube Hanweiler is the perfect place to enjoy excellent German cuisine and outstanding service with family, friends or a nice dinner just the two of you. Me and my family are guests at the Traube since many years and we have never been dissapointed. The food is fresh and every meal i have had was fabulous. The staff is very welcoming and you feel in good hands right from the moment you walk in. So if you live there or are in the area and want to eat excellent and high quality German food, the Traube Hanweiler is the place to go.

Absoloutely divine! I lived in Spain for 3 years and the food here was even better than authentic Spanish food! This is gourmet Spanish food! The service was efficient and friendly. I highly reccomend this delightful restaurant, you won't be dissapointed!

A comfortable and quite elegant country inn, with butcher's shop attached. On a hot summer evening, we enjoyed home smoked salmon, gazpacho with all the right trimmings. Followed by venison, Spätzle, veal with curried rice. Good desserts (parfait, hot apple cobbler, passion fruit sorbet). Wash it all down with fine wines from the village or a fresh Pils on tap. I simply cannot fault this inn/restaurant; and service was highly efficient with a smile. No long waits between courses also points to an efficient kitchen. Only 20 minutes drive to Stuttgart.

The Goldberg conquered the hearts of our guests right after its opening. Since 2010 every stay in Fellbach is a memorable experience - on the one hand, owing to our utterly dedicated crew and on the other hand, due to our chefs captivating "Cross Culture
We tried this place on our return trip from the Art Karlsruhe and we really did enjoy it. When trying to book it the electronic system claimed that there was no table available but hwen phoning we could still secure one. Upon arrival it turned out that the main room of the restaurant was almost empty but that in a separate room there was a party. So they obviously tried to keep the number of customers at a controllable level which we appreciated. Service was friendly, sometimes a bit overly concerned of our well being thinking that we were unhappy when only just talking about some contorversial topic, and we enjoyed the meal. My starter of lamb sweetbread on a bed of pasta and mushrooms was very good, the base better than the sweetbread which for my taste was cooked a little too long. My main was pidgeon with vegetables which was pleasant. The dessert Mojito of apricot was really great. My wifes coconut soup and her three varieties of lamb were well received too. Overall an enjoyable experience and we would be happy to return.

Run by Italians - great value, good sized portions. Staff very friendly and very helpful. Good atmosphere well used by locals who seemed to be regulars , we were recommend by our hotel -And it was just what we needed , relaxed informal with an outside area round the back . Good was good quality and wine was reasonably priced â¬50 for two , three course meal with a bottle of wine and coffee.

Highly interesting interior design and architecture.Cosy athmosphere and two ladies who present home-made haute cuisine with a smashing smile and make you comfortable. The grilled salmon as well as the gnocchi were a good recommendation. The only disadvantage when sitting on the terrace is the rather noisy rush hour traffic. A wooden palisade might help. ;-)

We went with our friends to dinner here on a weekday evening. We went to the smaller restaurant location as the other is used for weddings and other large parties which we also attended for a wedding dinner the week before. The owner and his wife and son greeted us warmly when we arrived. Our friends are German so it's no problem ordering but upon knowing we were Americans they spoke English with us and gave us English menus. The pleasant unhurried pace of our evening was refreshing. The owner thoughtfully explained that their restaurant offers local and regional specialities of food and wine not found in other restaurants. Because the mushrooms were in season, all of us had the mushroom and noodles. OMG! The mildly rich buttery flavor of this dish is to die for! The salads were fresh fresh fresh. The wine selection was extensive and our friends knew the right local wines to pick. The desserts we picked included homemade mint ice cream with dried apples and whipped cream and apricots with pancake wheels with whipped cream and orange flavored sauce. We sampled each other's to complete our delightful savory experience! Highly recommended!

Three of us enjoyed superb, mainly local food. The service was very good and the staff made some excellent and informed recommendations regarding wine and food. From the outside the restaurant looks a little less welcoming than it might, but once inside the surroundings are clean, more modern than many German restaurants, light and airy with plenty of room between the tables to make the experience more personal and intimate if required.
