This restaurant manages to combine two things I like: excellent food on the plate (as best as I've had) and not making a whole production about it (so no waiter giving a five minute overview of the meal). Very friendly service (especially by the hostess) and a nice vibe. The best place in town, but should be much more widely known.

At PASSATA, pasta is our art. Come and enjoy real, authentic pasta's made by our chef who comes from Genua. We have a terrace at the water, our menu changes every three months and we have a monthly three course menu made by the chef. Feel free to come in
Ate at this restaurant less than a week ago while visiting the Netherlands. The staff here are very friendly and committed to making this restaurant a success. The starter (Bruschetta) was excellent as was the main dish I ordered, the gnocchi. Keep up the great work.

Italian cuisine is not only about Pizzas , even if those served at Selene are delicious with thin and crispy crust , with topping of your choice. My favourite remains the Aubergine Al Forno and the day special which is usually imaginative and of good value for money. Very affordable and of high quaility . the wine is not to be forgotten and is thouroughly chosen by the Chef.In Selene , you re not in Holland but in a NYC Italian restaurant with Billy Joel as background music ..Very romantic ..

Cafe diner 't Weesperplein was fantastic. Canât complain about anything here, the service and the food were all very good, topped off with friendly staff. We were staying in Weesp and CDW, was on the list to try, thanks to the good reviews on Tripadvisor, it didnât disappoint. We normally eat traditional food when visiting various countries, however, when we asked, there wasn't any, so we both opted for the burgers, which were delicious and filling. When in the Netherlands it is necessary to have a gin or two. Tried the Damrak gin, with Elderflower tonic water, star anise and orange, it was sensational, (have been making them since we got back home and converted a few people). Donât know how busy it gets in season, we arrived just after 5pm, at the start of April and were the only people in the restaurant.Weesp was a great place to stay, the locals were lovely, the food was good and itâs only 15 minutes by train from Amsterdam and there are canals in Weesp as well.

Ate here twice while doing a boat trip. Nice atmosphere... service friendly and quick. They were very accommodating and allowed us to have kiddies meals! Steak and angus burgers on previous visit were fabulous. Very convenient when barging, as it is right by the canal.

A great place to pick up a quick and delicious breakfast. Fresh apple and orange juice and pastry to go. We bought cookies for an afternoon snack and they were delicious.

We have eaten at Base Pizza a few times over the last couple of years and have always enjoyed the pizzas. On this latest visit we got a takeaway and the pizza was a bit chewy - not as good as usual. Maybe it doesn't travel well and is best eaten in the restaurant? It has not put us off and we will no doubt return next time we're in Weesp.

We had a wonderful time at Bloom last night! Starting with drinks in their terrace followed by our dinner, the night was an excellent experience. Service was very attentive to detail and very friendly. Dishes looked not only beautiful but tasty.

Nederlandse keuken op eigen wijze! Een mooie gezellige zaak in een huiskamer sfeer. Kom genieten van onze gastvrijheid en natuurlijk het lekkere eten!
Decided to stay just outside Amsterdam for this visit, and Weesp seemed a little quieter and more quaint than some of the other locations. Not a huge choice of restaurants near our hotel, this was only a few doors down and looked fairly busy for a Wednesday night, so we thought we would give it a go.Had a really nice meal here, the steak was cooked perfectly and really tasty. We also had the starter platter of cheese and sausage which we enjoyed. The staff were very attentive (perhaps a little too much - but thats not a complaint!) Prices werent unreasonable, pretty fair for the standard of food, but its not cheap pub grub, its a little more refined,.
We went here with friends and tried their offer of 50% off (on food, with some exceptions) during the The Fork Festival. For the price we paid we received a very good meal with fresh and high-quality ingredients, surprising tastes and a beautiful presentation. We tried a lot of their âmezzesâ (not classical mezzes in Arabian style but small portions of Mediterranean-inspired dishes). Most of them were around 8/9 Euros, which I would consider a little pricey based on the serving size (we had to order additional fries in order not to leave hungry) and the fact that they recommend four of them to go as a main course (the 50% offer made it an excellent price/quality -and quantity- ratio though). The additional main course which was ordered by one of us (bavette steak) made a good impression and was well received. Our selection for dessert, the cheese platter, was a little dull and uninspired, while the white chocolate mousse came out fine. The wines were good (Tempranillo) to mediocre (Monastrell). The restaurantâs interior is stylish yet cozy and fits the modern presentation of the food. We liked the abundance of candles/tealights but found that some of the spotlights over the tables (ours included) could have been a tad darker to support the atmosphere. While the service had some minor flaws (an order of water was forgotten, wines and two dishes were served to the wrong people, the staffâs attention was hard to catch even though the restaurant was almost empty) we really liked their friendly and welcoming attitude. This cordiality definitely made up for the little mishaps. All in all we had a very nice evening and would recommend this restaurant in a heartbeat (with an offer). Nevertheless, at the regular prices with four mezzes per person plus sides and starter and/or dessert it would seem a little bit too expensive to us.
