Find out what European restaurants to try in Vyborg. Vyborg is a small, picturesque resort town a short train ride away from St. Petersburg. Medieval fortifications rise above the small peninsula on which the town is set, and the whole place can be seen by foot in a few hours. The highlight is Vyborg Castle, originally built by the Swedish, then captured and recaptured by the Russians and the Finnish. It has a great view of the town.

Here at the Restaurant Espilä/Espilya, located in the center of the main park of the city of Vyborg/Viipuri, it has a special feeling of grandeur. The Espilä, can look back on a long history and its name is deriving from esplanades, a promenade, where in former times people used to spend there free time, is an expanded pavillion, very elegant, with high ceilings, fancy silver and stylish interior. It has much of a Grand Café with its splendor. The staff is friendly and the prices still reasonable, though they are in the upper segment for Vyborg standards. The atmosphere is nice and the seating comfortable. Since this place was recommended to me by my Finnish friends, I took the Espilä Cake, a nut cake with lots of cream and fruits on its top. From Vyborg/Viipuri, Russia with Love!Dr. Dr. Immanuel Fruhmann

This place is located little bit aside of Vyborg city center but still worth the visit. I recommend car and there is parking space outside. The interior is rustic with some sport decorations. They have menu in several different languages. Food comes fast, is cheap and very good. Simple as that.

This restaurant was excellent! We made a reservation because the evening before it was full. We had tree course dinner with zakushas, mixed game for two (bear, elk & boar) and cheesecake. The restaurant is a bit more expensive than the other we went to in Vyborg, but definitely worth every rubl.Suomeksikin sai palvelua ja karhunliha oli mahtavaa!

We bought this special Krendel cookie. And it is GOOD!!! The place is vey small though so it was a bit too crowded for me. But service and atmosphere were very good.

I've been there once with friends for the breakfast. The host was nice and friendly. I liked how the place is decorated. But I liked the food more) We ordered eggs, pancakes and dumplins. All were good, and servings were sufficient! I would recomend this place definitely;-)

We stopped in for dinner and had a good experience. The beer selection was good and it was nice and cold. The food was very tasty although it was delivered over a wide range of time. The service was functional although not the friendliest. But I must say that's typical for Russia

Creep Pub, in my aspects, comes across as a British pub. It even has red telephone box styled restrooms and a large selection of both typically Scottish snd English pale ales and beers.A group of six of us sat down to enjoy two rounds and thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. Live football and UFC was televised, there was plenty of seating, places to hang your coats and English speaking staff. They were also very kind to order us two taxis back to our hotel the same night. Thanks for the great service and this pub is recommended to other travelers!

Cozy place with good service and interesting menu. Soups - the must. Main dishes - depends, my ribs were not so wonderful, but not bad. Very interesting beer, especially with cherry and black currant, dark beer also tasty. (You may order set of beers for testing all kinds of local beer). Special thing - bread sauce, which I found much better than expected. Very good service. But... just one thing - not good ventilation, even in +16 outside there was very hot and not enough fresh air(((Dear Dilenciya!Thank you for your good impression. This is very important for us. We would like to inform that the problem with ventilation will be resolved soon! We are close to success in this direction.

We had lunch with my friend in Cafe Krepostnaya 5. The restaurant is small and cozy. The waiter seems to be busy but she was quite friendly. We even got the menu in Finnish. I am sure they have English menu too. We ordered soup for the starter and for the main course creamy mushrooms in a pot. I found both dishes delicious, but my friend did not like them so much. The restaurant seems to be very popular. I would go again for sure if I am in Vyborg.

We make the coffee for our guests since 1980. In 2014 we have made complete reconstruction of our cafe, added a kitchen, where we prepare only fresh and not frozen products. Only in our cafe you can taste dessert Cremespresso by Lavazza. We offer not expe
Visited this place with my girlfriend and we both liked the place. Food was good but if you are really hungry main dish can be little bit small. Cheepish food but not English menu.
