We visited Kramar when returning home from Treviso, having incidentally seen the sign by the road. Were really surprised by cosy traditional style furniture and interior and then by the waitress, who was (for an average Slovenian roadside restaurant) really nice and very helpful.However, during our visit we spotted a sign, saying the restaurant is closed in the evening due to private party. Hence might be advisable, to check online for any such information beforehand.

We had wedding dinner/party for 80 people there and it was great! The staff is really helpful, they help you arrange everything. The food was great, the stuff professional etc. The wedding menues were not expensive. I definitely recommend this place :)

We visited Guesthouse Mesec in December, 2017.We had a special event celebration with family and friends. It was 19 of us.We had lovely time.We had dinner,all homemade food...It was delicious. We all stayed overnight.Rooms were very clean and comfortable.Very good choice for breakfast.Owners are lovely people too.I would definitely recommend. We will be back very soon!!!

We found this restaurant by chance. The young staff runs the restaurant in an efficient way. The day we were day we could notice the customers are a mix of local people and young people coming from Italy and Slovenia. Simple menu, delicious gulash, good cevapcici and pizza as well if you want.

When you enter this restaurant you will have full slovenian pristine home made cooking experience.The food is delicious and yumm and variety of menus is also more than enough. Staff is warm and welcoming. If you are hungry and in vicinity I highly recommend just make sure they are opened.The only disadvantage is small parking lot.

Place is good local inn: gostilna. They try to improve to higher quality and are in the middle of their way. You can sit on open garden for a drink, in inner terrace or in the building. They have fresh food from local cuisine. It is better if you reserve in advance for Sunday lunch or with a bigger group. You can choose between different soups, many main dishes with meat and between desserts. My favorite are Å¡truklji â for main dish or dessert. Be patient with service. Prices are not high.

... Or business gatherings! Very nice local friendly place with best veal (from special traditional oven) on the menue I have ever eaten! Great choice to spend an afternoon in excellent and warm atmosphere. Food is like home-made (and even better)! I always enjoy it whenever we go... At least a couple of times a year. Make sure though you book a table at least one week in advance.

.....but make sure you are hungry when you go.Service was friendly and the food was fantastic - the pizzas are top quality, but be warned - they are huge. There are 4 or 5 salad main course - I went for the Canker salad, which had lots of grilled beef, bacon as well as a generous quantity of mixed salad leaves and tomatoes. Brilliant. Would go again tomorrow if we were staying here longer.....

Restaraunt is a beautiful rustic place not far from Ljubljana and they offer interesting dihses, specializing in donkey and goat meat. Everything is homemade and ecological and very tasteful. We went for soups and main dish. The goat was excellent full taste, I was a bit disapointed in donkey soup and main dish since the meat doesn't have a lot of taste, but maybe it's just the way it is with donkey meat. I was trying it for the first time. The owners are very friendly and it's interesting to go fo a walk around their land and down to the river. Be careful, the restaurant is only open on Sunday!
