The staff here are fantastic, so attentive and nothing is to much trouble, we came for lunch and had beetroot salads starter, fish and chips and salted caramel tart with praline macaroon. They do a wonderful elderflower with mint, lemon and lime drink which Is so refreshing. What an absolutely stunning venue! Itâs the Barn at Coworth Park and everything about this place is 5star! The views are exquisite, the ambience and decor is honestly superb. The food was really fabulous, we were all super happy! But the thing that sets this place apart is the service....second to none! Coworth Park and the Barn always seem to have the best in the hospitality industry! Gaetan and Sam are always at the helm at the manor house and do a Stirling job and clearly the Barn has the same standards! Wonderful Antreas and his team paid attention to every request. Antreasâs Mediterranean charm, warmth and professionalism was greatly appreciated. Thank you as always Coworth Park we love everything about you!! XThank you for writing your complimentary review of The Barn at Coworth Park, from which I was most pleased to read that you so thoroughly enjoyed your recent lunch visit. In addition, I was happy to read your kind comments on The Barnâs exquisite views, superb ambience and fabulous food. I was particularly happy to note your kind comments on the team who looked after you so well and Andreas in particular.I look forward to welcoming you back to Coworth Park again soon.Kind regards,Zoe JenkinsGeneral Manager, Coworth Park, Dorchester Collection

In fairness the staff were very pleasant and when we said our pizza was doughy and the carbonara pasta not the best they apologised and replaced them but sadly still lacked flavour on both dishes. Wouldnât return but they did try

Another lovely visit to this restaurant. Authentic home cooked food and great waiters and atmosphere - the fish choice is always exceptional - my wife and I had the sliced sirloin steak with rocket and balsamic which was lovely - simple ingredients beautifully cooked - we will return !

At Leftbank there are stunning views of the River Thames from wherever you're dining. Linger over gorgeous seasonal food all freshly cooked and served buffet-style so you can help yourself to a little bit of this, a lot of that...you can tuck into three,
Excellent setting and service. Visited for family birthday. Thought buffet style would be great for variety of tastes but disappointed that there was no plain meat e.g. ham or prawns on the starters buffet. Everything was in sauce or a dressing which didn't suit our fussy eaters. Also the beef main was smothered in a mustard coating. Good if you like "made up" food and excellent veggie options. If you prefer plain meats and fish not ideal. Quite expensive for children who eat little, £16 per child.Thank you for your review of the Leftbank Restaurant at the Runnymede on Thames. I am sorry that you were disappointed in the starter buffet but enjoyed the excellent veggie options. Our starters usually receive very high praise and even âfussy eatersâ normally find something to their liking. We do conduct regular market research and find our prices competitive within the 4* hotel market in the area. My apologies if this was not your perception. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon.Kind regardsCraig SpencerResident / Guest Relations Manager

A hidden gem in the heart of leafy Sunningdale, The Tablespoon offers a relaxed atmosphere with the restaurant & secret garden buzzing from early till late. With contemporary twists on traditional British dining, and fusion dishes, we serve an eclectic ra
The Tablespoon offers a truly international mix of Western and Eastern dishes, from Burgers, cornfed chicken, and fish & chips to samosas, curries, and teriyaki glazed sesame tuna. However, the problem with such a wide range of cuisines is that itâs almost impossible to pay justice to all their individualities. The Tablespoon is no exception. For example, the chilli paneer, which I was assured to be very spicy, turned out to be completely devoid of chilli. It tasted good in a soulfoody way, more like a ratatouille with paneer, only without the mediterranean herbs. If itâs meant to be that way it should better be named bellpepper paneer. After I mentioned that to the waitress, I got kind of overcompensated by tons of chilli in my dumbay ki nihari, almost as if the cook had thought ok, now Iâm gonna show him. On the other hand, essential ingredients were missing, like fresh coriander or cumin. The tender lamb shank was not cut into morsels but served whole in deep a bowl of thinnish liquid, which made I wonder how it was meant to be eaten - as gravy it was way too much for the rice that came with it, and for a stew or a soup it was too hot and, sorry, too nondescript. The sesame tuna was good, maybe a bit too salty, while some of that salt could have been put to good use in the rather watery potato mash that came with the cornfed chicken. When I settled the bill they kindly offered to drop the paneer, but that wouldnât have been fair as I had more or less finished it. I should also mention here that service in general was very friendly and very fast.If fusion was the concept behind this way of cooking one should keep in mind that this means combining the idiosyncracies of different cuisines, very often yielding surprising and exciting results. My impression was that too much of Asia got lost on the way to Sunningdale, in order to accommodate the Western palate.Thank you for your very detailed and constructive feedback. It is always valuable for us to hear how we can perhaps improve dishes, despite it being after the dining event. Sadly, I can't agree that Asia got lost on the way to Sunningdale as we (the owners) are Asian, and have built the fusion menu on a Kenyan-Indo-Fijian heritage! However, perhaps we are catering to accommodate a certain Western palate. Our Fusion Kitchen comes highly reviewed, but it can only get better with close constructive feedback, so thank you for taking the time to do so. I hope that you do decide to return to us where we will do our best to improve your experience.

Went for a evening meal with my wife. Really outstanding meal and very friendly staff. The extra bits were the best part, with a three part amuse bouche- soup, seafood cone and apple. A mini three course meal as an amuse bouche. Langoustine were also fabulous. Bluebells Restaurant Offers A Relaxed Yet Formal Approach To Dining. Dining Options Include A Lunch, Dinner, Sunday And Kids Menu.
Three of us for lunch. Really nice ambience. Even though it was a Wednesday lunch time it was full of other diners. Decor dark green walls and grass green carpet and a blush pink large alcove worked well. The alcove was framed with same colour voile curtains and could be used to screen off a party I suppose. Friendly and efficient service. Courses came at good intervals. From the warm rolls with sesame butter to the end of the meal everything was a treat. My cod cheeks starter was delicious with an amalgamation of tastes. Every course beautifully and imaginatively served. The chicken on black cabbage with a wonderful mousse, the poached crystallised pear with ginger ice cream (I asked them not to include the chocolate doughnuts) were perfect. The doughnuts were given to my fellow diners to add to the chocolate feuilles they'd chosen. We shared a small plate of cheese. We had 3 large glasses of a very nice Burgundy - no bottle as we were driving. A fraction under £150 for three which included service. Can't wait to visit again.

The Estate Grill is our contemporary restaurant, which is a reflection of our commitment to providing locally sourced, simple dishes. Executive Chef, Rob Chasteauneuf, has a straightforward and honest approach to food and enjoys experiencing new dining co
Four of us were dining in the estate grill and were really looking forward to a culinary delight judging by the prices. The soup of the day tasted like it had just come out of a tin, I ordered a side of french fries and when they arrived they were done to a crisp and you couldnât get a fork in without them snapping to pieces. I didnât say anything as I didnât want to embarrass my fellow diners, but then my two friends received their order of Salmon on a bed of Sagaloo and the salmon was overdone or had been sitting under a hot plate and you literally couldnât get your fork onto the rock hard potato cubes that were part of the sagaloo on both dishes. We did tell the waitress about it and she came back and said that the Chef said that the dish was as it should be! We were offered a replacement but by then the other two diners were uncomfortably half way through there main meal so they decided not to re order and went without. We Were all feeling very deflated about the whole evening and passed on the desserts. When we asked for the bill, no attempt was made to reduce the price of what we had ordered apart from the two meals that we sent back and no attempt was made to reconcile the disastrous service that we had received. We will vote with our feet and not return. Very Disappointing.Dear steveboolThank you for your feedback. I am very sorry that you and your fellow diners did not enjoy your meal. Perhaps you can get in touch with us directly, so we may look into your reservation. The soup is made fresh, in fact we are using a lot of our garden produce in our soups. First awarded a Michelin star in October 2016 & 4 rosettes by The AA in 2018, The Tudor Room is a richly decorated dining room, boasting silk lined walls and a dominant seventeenth century tapestry. With just 8 tables, The Tudor Room offers a tasting menu
Having stayed at the property before many years ago we booked a special package for D,B&B for my husbands Birthday & Our Anniversary. The Tudor room wasnât available previously and as weâre keen foodies we really wanted to give this place a try. The whole experience was wonderful, we started in the bar with G&Tâs and were escorted through to the beautiful room, where thankfully the decoration has not been modernised like other parts of the hotel. The menu is a seven course taster menu where you get an option on a number of courses and we were very happy with the choices (sometimes with taster menus this is not the case). What is good is that the restaurant offers ½ bottles of wine which as I only drink White and my Husband loves Red meant we could each indulge without worrying about having to finish the whole bottle. Not once did we have to fill up our own glasses and our water glasses were topped up continually throughout the evening. Each dish was explained as it was presented to us, the service and food was exceptional. The highlight of our stay.Dear Boho1979Thank you for your review and congratulations on your birthday and anniversary! I am delighted that you thoroughly enjoyed your meal and the experience overall. I loo forward welcoming you back soon again. With kind regardsSandra MuellerGeneral Manager
