The style of the restaurant reflects the approach used for the creation of the dishes, as emphasis is given to the elemental, keeping within a structure of the late nineteenth century, what are the times with exposed brick and also one of the walls is lef
I recently had dinner with a friend at Salbora; a relatively new restaurant to the Torino dining scene, having opened approximately four months ago. Located away from city center in a questionable neighborhood as we were "buzzed" in the locked door. We were warmly welcomed and the owner asked how we had heard about Salbora, to which we replied there were nice reviews posted in TripAdvisor. The locale is nicely decorated, having dark wood flooring, indirect lighting and tables set with tablecloths and good quality service ware (dishes, utensils and glass ware). The breadbasket included fresh dinner rolls and fresh grissini. Smooth jazz played over the house audio system added to the relaxed atmosphere. Tables were situated far enough apart to afford private dinner conversation.Unfortunately, I found the food to be only mediocre. The menu featured primarily fusion-type offerings, several of which were creative and sounded good on the menu. There were also two tasting menus; one for seafood and the other for meat. I decided to go with the latter The antipasto started with a poached egg on asparagus and melted, locally produced cheese. Once the egg yolk was broken, it blended nicely with the cheese, though the asparagus was stringy and could have been cooked a little more. This was followed by Fasone (local beef) tartar served with caprino gelato with a crunchy crumble. I liked the contrast of textures in this dish, though the flavors were unremarkable. The pasta course consisted of a large, homemade raviolo served on a melted cheese sauce with asparagus and crisp bacon. The pasta was tasty, though the dish closely resembled one of the antipasti. Unfortunately, I didn't care for the entree, which was braised pork marinated in coffee (cafe) and served with Bok Choy and peach ice cream. Our waitress suggested eating the pork and ice cream together. The pork alone was flavorless and the ice cream tasted like...well, peach ice cream. Put them together and there was still nothing as far as flavor goes.Dessert consisted of an "unmade" Sicilian Cannolo. The ricotta filling topped with candied fruit was good, however, the cannoli pastry was plain and tasteless. Service was very friendly and attentive throughout our meal. Prices were quite reasonable, however, portions were small and I left a little hungry. Given a little more time to experiment and tweak their recipes, Salbora could eventually become a very good restaurant. Thanks for pointing out the strengths and weaknesses of our restaurant so that you can improve with his advice and welcome the prossiama time with greater satisfactionthank you

Shaorma, mici, verza rustic e tantissime altre specialità rumene... Nuovi gusti, più sapori. Ogni giorno una specialità diversa... Consegna a domicilio.

Although it was busy on Mothers day for lunch, we sat outside at a quiet table and ate very good food. There is a minimum of car traffic on this street and lots of flowers around the eating area. The bread was served in a paper bag and was fresh made in their pizza oven. Because we did not finish it with our meal, the waiter came to clear it away but no way was that going to happen. Bread that good goes right into my purse to be devoured later.

A local advised us to go here and it was just perfect. You would think it is a tourist restaurant since it is on the main road to the Reggia, but this isnât your typical tourist restaurant. Among the restaurants in Turin and its province, Il Convito della Venaria is able to offer you a memorable taste experience in one of the most evocative places in Italy.
As Convivium was closed so we tried this restaurant and were mostly pleased with the choice. We chose the daily porcini menu, and were treated to fried porcini and then porcini in a pasta. The antipasto needed more dipping sauce but portions were large. The restaurant agreed to include desserts of our choice and both were excellent, especially the Bunet. Staff were young, attentive and dynamic. Wine was good. Overall, good value for money. The only disappointment was the "decoration" in the main dining room - and this is so important in a restaurant. The walls were hung with dreadful paintings - a huge, careless, distorted view of Venice - my home town to boot!! Pleased to recommend this location, nevertheless.

It had been five years since I last visited Dolce Stil Novo. Since then I learned that they have a Michelin star to reward their excellent cousine. I consider it a restaurant worth a special detour to visit as Chef Russo achievs true perfection and food poetry with local ingredients. The location is magical. The service is absolutely impeccable. Perfect, knowleadgeable and firndly, something that in Michelin level restaurant is sometime. Last time I went was a business dineer, this time I was with my dear better half and the location was even more appropiate. This is a true do not miss.Dear 3Cuori1Capanna, Thank you for taking the time to share your impressions following your recent experience. Bravi!
