Things to do in Varazdin
This was our last evening in Varazdin, when my girlfriend wanted to eat crepes. We were amazed that the crepes/pancakes were that good, this were the best pancakes/crepes we've ever eaten. Also a great location, good portion and lovely service. I recommend P'alapassion everyone who visits Varazdin.

A somewhat more difficult restaurant to find because it is quite hidden. The interior is average but has a beautiful terrace overlooking the city park. Staff is average, food also. What to eat ? Pizzas, everything else is average.

We were traveling with a group of 31 people and a friend booked us a reservation to eat at Sanjek ordering "Croatian hamburgers" for us. The meal began with chicken noodle soup for "digestion". A very good soup! The burgers were huge and french fries were real potatoes, not frozen! The staff was friendly and professional, the room was homey and comfortable. Beautiful roses were blooming outside. A very enjoyable meal!

Location outside of the city, lot of parking space. The interior is beautifully decorated, unfortunately too small terrace. The staff is quick and very helpful, and there is no long waiting for food. The food itself is very good, especially meat dishes and pizzas. Prices are low.

Two well known chefs, Andelko and Zlatko, who have built their culinary reputation, are the most distinctive participants of the Varaždin gastronomy scene. They are professionals with a high sense for harmony of flavors and at the same time very committed
I am in Varazdin twice a week, and often go to this restaurant for a business lunch with my colleagues. A nice atmosphere, very good food, reasonable prices. Close to the city center, but still isolated enough to make your stay a real delight. Daily menus for 4-5 EUR, large portions, absolutely recommended.

If you visit Varazdin, a town in the north-western Croatia with a rich history dating back to the Middle Ages, and after sightseeing of the city get hungry, visit the Verglec restaurant inevitably. It is located in the very center of the old town. At the entrance you'll be welcomed by a pleasant ambience and kindly staff who will take you to your place. The tables are far enough from each other not to hear the conversation of guests at two adjacent tables. On the menu there are variety of dishes, both international and specific local from Hrvatsko zagorje, the Croatian region with its Varazdin capital. You will be pleasantly surprised by the offer of great wines. The food is very tasty, the portions are abundant and the prices are affordable. Do not miss tasting homemade specialties by asking your waiter. You can also book a table in advance. I recommend this restaurant for both family and business lunches or dinners.

The restaurant is in a beautiful location, surrounded by nature. We were there in the winter, summer is certainly more beautiful. We were there for a Saturday lunch, there was no crowd. Sometimes on weekends they organize weddings and other celebrations, so better ask before you go. There are plenty of dishes on the menu for every taste. The food was very good, the portion abundant. Prices are acceptable. We had their own homemade wine, also pretty good. You can also buy it to take home at a very affordable price. A good restaurant, we would come back there again.

Restoran Angelus Varazdin
This is definitely ine of the best restaurants in the heart of the city. Food is various but I would recommend to go for Italian. The have very professional and friendly stuff. During summer they serve the meal on outdoor terrace behind varazdin's cathedral. Definitely special experience.

Nice traditional restaurant in wooden house, nice quiet garden, large parking space, cossy atmosphere at subburb of Varazdin. Fine service and excellent traditional food. We were four (two vegeterians) and everybody was very happy with meals. Finally prices are very convenient. Will visit this place again.... :-)

The story of Palatin restaurant is set in the very heart of Varaždin city. The restaurant lies at the crossroads of BraÄa RadiÄ and Stanko Vraz street. The word "Palatin" was first mentioned in Roman history, and is continued to be used in the present. Sp
Three hours before arrival we call them in order to reserve table. We picked up three course dish from promotive menu âOkusiâ (Tastes). After 45 minutes we get soup, 1 hour after soup we received main dish. Main dish was almost cold. Taste was ok, but nothing special. And for desert half hour later we received raw paste (on picture). We argue with waitress but anything she has been saying was sorry. After raw desert we paid bill and left. We spent more than two hours of sunny afternoon for three course dish in half full restaurant. How is it possible that it is listed on 1st place in region??
