On our way to Gorges du Tarn, we stopped in Meyrueis for lunch. Family restaurant is strategically located along the way. Seeing that many tables were occupied signaling that there must be something good here, we ventured inside and got a nice table in a quiet corner of the restaurant. We chose the Lozere menu (25 euro) and were not disappointed. Local cold cuts ... generous portion, lamb and dessert. Very filling. The staff were attentive and friendly. Free WiFi Itâs an unpretentious family restaurant ...just like the name. merci beaucoupL'équipe du FAMILY

I had dinner here while on the walk to Saint Guilhem-Le-Desert. The most fantastic meal (especially one of their signature dishes of egg poached in a sauce of cream and blue cheese). On top of wonderful food ( obviously appreciated by locals as the restaurant was full) the service was outstanding. This is a must visit if you are in the area.

We visited this restaurant during the off season while visiting the south of France. We were pleased by the warm welcome of the owner and the staff. The atmosphere is really pleasant, and all seems very new and clean. We had different dishes from the menu and the day specials which were both fabulous. Overall, great welcome, nice place and amazing food at a very reasonable price. We recommend this restaurant to anyone passing by the area! Thank you !

We ate here twice. The first night was the best - huge perfectly cooked swordfish steak, and beautiful chicken with a mushroom sauce. The price fixe is excellent value at 13.90 for three generous portions. The second evening service was equally fantastic but both our duck and steak were rather overcooked, served with a divine pepper sauce nevertheless. We would definitely go again.

We had a delightful lunch at this brasserie sitting outside on a pleasant October sunny day. Service was very friendly. The food was a cut above many brasseries. I had the steak, which came with an interesting assortment of vegetables (see picture). I asked for frites. They did not have them, but this was a much better and tasty accompaniment. There was a good selection of wines by the glass and overall this was a very pleasant experience. Highly recommended in the centre of Le Vigan.

This restaurant is actually located on a campsite by the river, but people other than campers often go to it. It serves quite a wide range of food beyond just pizzas and the service is good and obliging, though some of the food is a little over-priced. But it is worth going for the setting on an elevated terrace with lovely mountain views.

Cuisine semi-gastronomique dâinfluence Méditerranéenne et à la fois de terroir Cévenols avec une touche de modernité.Ainsi quâune attention particulière apportée à la confection de desserts entièrement maison et dâune certaine qualité.
We have been to this restaurant several times and rate it the best in the area. Julie, who speaks good English, is an excellent host, and Cyril, an excellent cook. They are always willing to discuss vegetarian options. The food is imaginatively presented and the inside tables look sparkling, while the terrace tables provide a lovely view over the village. The cost is reasonable and they open out of season for reservations.
