We had just arrived in Udine we asked to sit outside lovely outside area comfortable seating lots of choice on the menu! Pizza and drinks order we were disappointed! Quick and friendly service! We are told that this was the best pizza in Udine it didn't disappoint

We tried three traditional Italian pasta dishes, and all were very good, and very large portions, too! Carbonara, penne with gorgonzola and radicchio, and pasta vongole. The vongole was a bit too salty, otherwise perfect!

We kept returning to Caffe Tomaso while in Udine on business. Each time, the food was unique and innovative, mixed in with some classic Italian dishes. The menu is recited to you at table; there are no printed menus. The place is filled with locals, dining with their large dogs at their feet - a sign of a truly wonderful local hub. The staff is without a doubt the best - friendly, passionate about their food and their service. If in Udine, make haste to get to Caffe Tomaso!

Very well known pizzeria in Udine. They have also fish dishes and the quality overall is quite good. Professional service. Not in the center of town so you will need a car. For tourists staying in the center of Udine there are definitely other comparable pizzeria / restaurants in the center of town.

Friday evening. Crowded (as expected), narrow seats, a bit oppressing, quite hot.Fast service and big pizzas. Quality toppings. But, maybe due to the crowd, pizzas were not well cooked and digestion required half the night. Good price.

It was the closing dinner of a festival, and I guess the organizers were out to impress. The restaurant looks elegant, and the courses of food perfectly matched the ambience. The wine were well paired with the food, and all of us were suitably pleased.

When we were in Udine for business trip, we were looking a place for dinner. We found this place by chance but it was perfect. Definetelly 10 out of 10. Pizzas were amazing and it was so big , 2 can share easily a pizza, sea food was so delicious. The only thing i can say negatively is the don't have english menu. The rest was fascinating.

I took my 12 year old niece to have lunch here and she voted this place to be amazing. We later tested the tartar they have on the menu in different places, but no other place came even close. We are still talking about this lunch, go and experience it yourself, you will not be disappointed!

Cosy, elegant, but not fussy, not noisy; very friendly staff, fresh fish, tasty meat, good selection of wines! Can see here a variety of clientele: business people, families with grown up children, couples... I have eaten here at least 5 times, and can say that never left a piece on my plate. From a variety of starters to a selection of desserts - everything was tasty and had some very special details that are unconventional. To give you an example, try their appetizer "millefeuille with fois gras and berries"..... Nice? Worth trying!)

We went there with friends to celebrate my birthday. We felt really welcome and the service was very nice. We took a 10-dish menu and a vegetarian friend could select a different menu (although on the list it is understandably asked that the whole table has to select the same menu if it is a tasting menu - actually I think they prepared a couple of dishes more for our vegetarian friends so she did not have to wait too much as her menu had less dishes than ours) Most importantly, all dishes were truly remarkable. Very creative and original while respecting the tradition, and with very good products. We were really thrilled and loved every minute of our lunch! Of course, it is not cheap, but it's really worth it! We'll definitely be back!
