Trnava (Slovak pronunciation: [ˈtr̩naʋa] ( listen), also known by other alternative names) is a city in western Slovakia, 47 km (29 mi) to the north-east of Bratislava, on the Trnávka river. This was originally a good pizza/pasta restaurant opened a long time ago. After some time it obviously changed the owner and transformed into a much bigger place. I liked it more before the change. Now the prices are too high for the quality you get. The service is most of the time poor, very slow. Last time I ordered lasagne and one beer. I waited like 10 min for the card, then another 15 for the drink, another 25 for the meal and another 10 for the bill. It took too long, I paid like double the price as in any other nearby restaurant, the food was very average (mine was very salty), they served the lasagne in a pasta plate (?) and it took too long for a standard workday lunch.

Well, reading other reviews it appears we had a bad luck. Yes indeed, meals were okay, nothing exceptional though, just fine. But service... very simple order was messed-up, drinks arrived only after soup. And hearing constant argues (loud!) from kitchen won't make your stay pleasant. We may give it another try maybe

found this great italian on my recent Slovakia trip in central Trnava
Very nice chillled out bar/restaurant and very good food at a reasonable price. Fast and friendly service and nice cocktails/ drinks list. Loved the music in there too.

I visited the restaurant with my daughter and her friend from the UK. I was incredibly surprised as for a first time ever in Slovakia (I am of Slovakian origin but always saddened how miserable and hostile customer care can be when I visit) I have truly encountered the most warm, kind, charming and caring service in a restaurant. The food was excellent and super delicious (and great cost too), the restaurant itself great looking and the staff - Completely 5 star definitely having the wow factor. Huge thank you to our waitress Veronika Chnapkova and her colleagues, you guys do Trnava and Slovakia proud. We have recommended to all that we could and we will most definitely be back.

Great unique place in Trnava. Modern and trendy place with inside, outside sitting. Opened kitchen, more kind of great draft beer Pilsner Urquel as standard and craft beers beside. Great original dishes with interesting presentation. I loved sandwich with pig ears. I give rating 5 but staff could be faster. A lot of staff, not full place and waiting for beer. Also when taking empty glass ask if second beer to bring please! Beside this, perfect

Family Restaurant & Pension Patriot situated in historical part of the first royal town in Slovakia is a place where you experience the essence of home and luxury.
We had a family lunch at the place -- le foie gras as entrée, pomodoro soup and tagliatelle with shiitake mushrooms as the main course. The food was great, taste quite balanced and served nice. I definitely recommend this place for business lunch. There is also a good wifi connection available. Unfortunately the place lacks a playground area for kids. The staff was very attentive despite of the initial mistake of making us wait for 10 minutes before the menu was offered. Keep up the great job!
