We visited this restaurant because we heard the seafood was good and weren't disappointed. The gorgeous maitre d' didn't speak much English and we are dismal with French but she explained everything on the menu and in the seafood tank, we all nodded and smiled a lot and we and ended up with a wonderful fresh langoustine and lobster meal.

This pizzeria is right across the street from the tourism office and pretty much the center of town--the inside space is quite large and they have adequate seating outside as well for the sunny days--the portions were nice sized--we actually shared a cheese salad with fresh vegetables then had a pizza with various toppings--the crust is quite thin and crispy but had an excellent flavor--we had local tap beer--the service was very nice and friendly--you don't get a view of the water but it's compensated for with the view of the local stores and pedestrians --I would say their pizza is equivalent to any I've had in Rome, Italy

We visited for Friday lunch without a reservation and got a table next to the panorama windows with a superb view of the harbour. I ordered the Euro 29.90 menu with a fish and scallop mousseline with tomato sorbet starter, followed by lamb shank with mashed potatoes, and fondant chocolate with a light sauce for dessert. My wife chose John Dory fish with leeks a la carte, followed by creme brulee. I had a glass of the house red and my wife a glass of the house white. We rounded the meal off with two coffees. Service was very good throughout. All of the food was nicely presented and well cooked, but lacked a little bit of flair. My mousseline was excellent, and the tomato sorbet added an intriguing taste contrast. My lamb was slightly overdone, and the potatoes were bland, as was my wife's fish. Both desserts were excellent. The bill came to Euro 71, which was very fair.

After eating in Tregastell and Ploumanac for most of the week we turned left at the junction and found this little gem of a restaurant. It is obviously very well known to the locals as it is full most of the time, so booking is a good idea. Very pleasant staff and excellent food all set in a lovely spot, by the side of a small lake. It is more reasonable than the beach side restaurants in the area. Highly recommended.

Stopped for lunch and sat outside which is sheltered by a glass panel - it was windy. Had a burger and gin and tonics. Very pleasant but probably just average without the beautiful view. Service was slow. The table next to us waited for over 15 minutes before anyone arrived.

This restaurant is located up an outdoor set of nondescript stairs. The climb is worth it! The view over the lovely harbor is spectacular, especially at night. Our meal was delicious and the service was very good. It excels in local fish -

The food here is excellent, made with experience and passion. The selection is food is just about right, with local products like Brittany lobster (which was totally prepared, no cracking required).Staff are very friendly and attentive. The view over the sea and beaches was worth it even more. They have several dining areas, not just the one at the entrance.

Best ever diner since we have arrived in Brittany. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere so cosy, the food (galettes) is stunning and they understand vegan requirement. Amazing !!! They customised a salad based on my request which was way better than anything I would have done myself I am really sad that we have to leave tomorrow, I would love to come again.

The Daubé family and itsâ crew welcome you in this family house dating from the end of the 19th century with itsâ unique charm and elegance. The dining room with a « boat hull » framework opens on a Breton landscape which is made up of wild islands and co
Over several nights we enjoyed dining in the restaurant which is quite spectacular. We found the menu and the amuse-bouches somewhat repetitive. One evening we were offered a "plat de fruits de mer" as an alternative which we accepted but were not told there would be a supplement. In the event the tray of sea food produced was absolutely huge and would have been sufficient for four people. It had every shellfish one can think found in the region from crab to winkles. Obviously there were not the same "chef" skills there as on the classic menu, but it was an experience. Service on the whole was attentive and the maître is an exceptionally pleasant man.

Our Cuisine: The spirit of welcome has permeated the very essence of the Grand Hotel des Bains since its origin. As a family run hotel, we want our guests to feel really at home here. We like the good things in life, and we like to share them with our gue
WE ate here twice. We only wanted to eat here once but had to a second time as the other restaurants in the port were closed on a Monday. Both meals were superb: French cuisine of the highest order with service to match, but not the overly superior style you used to get but professional and friendly and very much in the old-school style. Decent choice on the menu (but seafood didn't feature as highly as it could have done) with dished prepared with flair and style, well cooked using the best produce. Ample space between tables. The set menu was 39 Euros and represented very good value for money considering. Comfortable bar with roaring fire (most of the time in the evening) even in the summer.Dear Captain Picard,Thank you very much for your kind review, and thank you also for sharing it with the world! We are pleased to read you have recognized and enjoyed our fine cuisine, in a good atmosphere. We do have to admit that sometimes we use the fireplace in the summer time. Brittany...We are looking forward to welcoming you back soon. Please receive our Best Regards,Amaury LEGRAND
