Reviews on European food in Tramore, Province of Munster, Ireland. Tramore (/trəˈmoʊr/; Irish: Trá Mhór, meaning "big strand/beach") is a seaside town in County Waterford on the southeast coast of Ireland. A small fishing village until the arrival of the railway in 1853, the town has continually expanded since. Initially the town flourished as a tourist destination and latterly it has developed as a seaside satellite town of Waterford City, which is 13 km to the north. We went here a special birthday treat for a friend. Service as always friendly and their mushroom risotto with truffle oil was as good as ever. We had veal T bone steaks and I must say they were a generous size, succulent and tender. The fish dishes were really very good. This is a great restaurant that makes you feel you are in Italy and treated as if you are. Highly recommended.

Had dinner here with my girlfriend. We picked the value meal menu option, (20 euro - 4 course), and overall we had an excellent experience. The portions were very generous and well prepared, although the mussels didn't quiet live up to the standards of the rest of the food. The staff was really nice and made us feel very welcome. Will certainly return on next visit to Tramore.

Almost perfect dinner. Starters were were demolished. My main was superb of mussels and lobster ravioli. My partner had lasagne but felt the sauce was lacking in something. Our desserts of Apple pie and ice cream and chocolate fudge cake and ice cream were lovely. The staff were delightful and we certainly will be back.

Last Sunday was not my first visit here. Probably my 4th. Food is fresh and tasty. Their prawn starter is so yum. The beef was tender. Veg was freshAnd the bold bits, nice glass of wine very nice slice of chocolate cake. Top it off with very friendly staff, the owner always has a hello for every one which I think is often forgotten but very important and there is anothr lady "always" working there who is worth her weight in gold. She gets to every table.. somehow. And all the locals give her a hug showing how popular she is. We had a young guy serve us and I think she is teaching him as he was very polite and knew his job. We will be back again no doubt. Keep up the good work
