Stopped here on a very snowy day. Was for morning coffee and hot chocolate but got tempted by freshly baked cookies. All the food looked great and we were sorry not to have found this place earlier in the week so we should return. Nice atmosphere, plenty of character. All we hope for in a mountain Restaurant!

Lovely place! Very friendly accommodating staff and fab food, especially if you love pork. Go for the trio of pork platter - delicious! Had 2 vegetarians in the party who were both well catered for too despite the restaurant name which means pigsâ tails

We ate here on our chalet night off and the three of us really enjoyed it. The owner welcomed us warmly and explained the menu and the wine list. The recommended rosé sparkling wine was very pleasant. Water was also supplied plus generous amounts of freshly baked bread. The French onion soup was delicious and the scallop starter was beautifully cooked and presented. The cheeseburger and chips didnât disappoint and the home made mayonnaise was excellent. The arrabiata sauce added a rich flavour to the pasta. We enjoyed the strawberries and ice cream and the vodka sorbet. The owner brought us complementary genepé liqueur which went down very well. We loved the atmosphere here and even returned on our last afternoon for drinks on the sun terrace. We highly recommend this restaurant and wish the new owners every success. They deserve it.

Tignes is a destination to which we return year after year. Sometimes the resort is heaving, this year we have been lucky and have picked a relatively quiet week. A La Creperie Bretonne is not a restaurant that we have visited before today, simply because we have found plenty of other nice places to eat in Tignes. We decided to try somewhere new, Mrs Krampus saw that it had good reviews on TripAdvisor, so we walked down towards the far end of the Promenade du Rosset and had a lovely surprise. Keeping in mind that this is a busy ski resort, and is 5,000 feet above sea level, "inexpensive" is a relative term. However, I don't think that we have paid so little for a meal anywhere else in Tignes in the past 5 years or so.It is small. Probably only a dozen tables or so, and they focus on what they do best: galettes and crepes. The waitress was attentive. The beer is pleasant. The food arrived quickly and was devine. For an apres ski lunch, I really don't think that one could ask for more. What made me feel really at home was the yellow Labrador (very well behaved, he sat quietly in his corner). Anyone who loves Labradors must be, essentially, a Good Person in my opinion. Try it. I think that you will love it and, if I'm wrong, my advice will have cost you very little. We are going back for lunch again this week.

TUMMY is a restaurant, pizzeria and a take-away located on Place du Curling, Val Claret, where locally sourced ingredients from Italy and the Alpine Valleys are transformed in to an excellent menu. Customers are invited to enjoy simple quality food which
With so many choices in Tignes, I almost overlooked Tummy. My business partner and I visited Tignes and were eager for an outside-patio to enjoy lunch and the beautiful day. Many restaurants had patios, but Trip Advisor helped me to select one with good food: Tummy exceeded my expectations. The pizzas are exceptional: one was plenty for two of us to split and still have room for another appetizer and some dessert. I didn't order a burger, but I envied the person next to my table who had one. The burgers look delicious and have adventurous toppings: I'd definitely get one next time.Overall, I recommend Tummy for the pizza, the service, and the views. Enjoy!Jessthank you Jess we are touched from your excellent feedback ! hope to see you next time on our lovely terrace or inside if bad weather ...

Downstairs is a pub: good selection of beer, buzzing atmosphere, Yes with sorts. Upstairs is a quite restaurant with some excellent food. Two sons had been cheek that they very much enjoyed; I had cod with lentils which was excellent.Slightly incongruous combination but I'd recommend both (in different ways). We ate their first, and then returned a different night for some late drinks in the very buzzing bar.Hi there! Many thanks indeed for the wonderful review - the team here at Couloir are very-happy to read such amazing comments. We hope to see you again soon!

Finding it was a challenge but WOW! This place came highly recommended to us and it didn't disappoint. We were to be in Tignes for the February half term ski holidays and we were warned to book weeks in advance. It was clear to see why and this restaurant deserves every bit of its popularity. Set on a working farm the dining hall twists and winds and is in fact vast in terms of its size and yet it manages to retain every bit of old French rural charm despite the sheer volume of people dining. The menu is interesting with modern techniques offering a twist that you wouldn't expect from the surroundings. The restaurant also serves classic French alpine dishes and staying true to the wintery location we opted for the raclette for our main which was both a visual and taste sensation. Interesting to note that this restaurant produces all of its own cheese and it was as creamy as the best I have ever tasted. Also worth a mention was our starter of snails which came in edible shells. Thin and crispy bread shells which really looked like the real deal. Service was friendly and first class and our meal worth every penny. A must visit.

Absolutely wonderful meal. The starter included the best mussels my husband has ever had! We had the t bone steak to share for main which was a beautiful piece of meat. Tarte tatin absolutely delicious too and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. We were surrounded by fondue at other tables which looked great. An excellent find but note to get to it you need to head up the steps opposite the Tignes Spirit rental shop. Would definitely recommend!
