Wij zijn voor moederdag hier komen ontbijten met Acht. Het was fijn, voldoende en lekker! Spijtig dat het een maandag was, dan is er markt in Tessenderlo, en de zaak zat dus overvol. Maar alles werd keurig en netjes gebracht.

A fairly new restaurant in Tessenderlo, that could have filled up the space created by the end of Manger Manger...hélas, not the same standards. Restaurant is next to and linked to a café-brasserie. Menu looks promising. The dining room is somewhat small, which means you can not help hearing the others talk. Nice furniture. Food all in all is OK, but lacks the sparkle of creativity. Also we had the impression the cook had to juggle with time, and hence had to prepare some things too long in advance.We were a company of 4 that had a seafood starter. It smelled and tasted awkward. 3 of us were sick within hours. We gave feedback to the restaurant, and all they did was hide behind their supplier and behind the fact it could be our own problem, which definitely was not the case.Based on this, not a restaurant we will go back to. Apart from the food poisoning, we are looking for some more creativity and more outspoken taste.

Nice food, but a commercial gesture for the 1:45h wait would be appreciated. Especially when the couple that showed up half an hour after us got their food 20 minutes before us...same dish btw. Hence the âno tip departureâ #workonit

This is a must visit experience anytime we are in Belgium. Pino uses only the freshest ingredients to masterly prepare the finest dishes I've ever tasted. The Foie Gras served with a red wine reduction is simply marvelous paired with a wine from their fabulous wine list. The specials change weekly depending on the local harvest and I have never had a meal there that was anything more than spectacular. Enjoy an aperitif followed by their special amuse bouche and stroll through the gardens while your entree is being skillfully prepaired to order. after dinner sit back and relax and take in some of the chef's artistry that adorns the walls in the dinning room. Everything about this places oozes charm and top notch service. The sauces accompanying your meals are truly delectable and no matter how much I try at home they can never be duplicated. Bon Appetite & Smakelijk!

Midden februari zijn we in deze nieuwe en prachtig ingerichte zaak een verwenontbijt gaan eten. Voor twee personen kregen we volgend uitgebreid ontbijt :Spek met eieren, 6 broodjes, 2 sandwiches, 4 sneden brood, 4 sneden rozijnenbrood, 3 soorten hartelijk beleg, chocopasta, gelei, 4 tassen koffie, cava, vers sinaasappelsap en 3 soorten yoghurt. Alleszins een ruim aanbod, wat we niet opgekregen hebben en dit tegen een zéér schappelijke prijs. Werner en Marleen maken een bezoek hier tot een waar verwenmoment. Ons zie je hier zeker terug!

Midden in de bossen gelegen voor een heerlijke wandeling achteraf, zeer vriendelijk onthaal, lekker en vers ontbijt, veel keuze zelfs cava, wafels en pannekoeken inbegrepen voor slechts 17 euro. Er is ook voldoende plaats tussen de tafels waardoor je geen gesprekken van anderen hoort en rustig kunt eten, ondanks dat de zaal volzat. Ook vriendelijk naar kinderen: speciaal servies en een grote speeltuin nabij. We komen zeker terug.

Enkel een vast 5-gangenmenu in het weekend aanbieden is een gok, omdat klanten het moeten nemen of laten, maar ons is het alleszins goed bevallen! Mooie, kleurige en smakelijke gerechten, prachtig op het bord gepresenteerd. Het tempo van de gangen is prima. Alles was erg smaakvol - de tartaar en de fazantenbouillon bijzonder lekker - en prima afgekruid. De chef bedient aan tafel en geeft prima uitleg over de gerechten en over de wijnen.Enig aandachtspuntje: ons kaasbordje kwam zonder enig garnituur. Wel met broodje, maar zonder boter, fruit, (zelfgemaakte) confijt, chutney, honing of siroop. Dat maakte het wel erg sterk en een beetje eentonig. Ook misten we brood bij de start van het tafelen, maar misschien is dat niet meer van deze tijd..?Dit alles doet niets af aan de mooie avond. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!

We went here to celebrate my birthday on a quick visit to Belgium. The food was plentiful and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the service was friendly and fast. The prices were reasonable. Would definitely go back here next time I return to Belgium.
