As non French speaking (sadly) we found it a bit difficult to find nice eateries in Lanslebourg. (We are not too fond of burgers fries and pizza). Got a recommendation from our hotel to try La Bambiche and we were not disappointed. Staff extremely friendly and food delvicious. Happy to recommend and will return if I'm in the area again.

With a group of friends on a rainy evening. We had a great dinner of local specialties, cold cuts, Pork cooked in red wine (cayon) with creamy crozets (local pasta), excellent cheeses. service was fast and friendly despite the restaurant being full. make a reservation before you go up there. Great view from the Fort!

Had a meal here last week on a ski trip. Best meal of the week. Wasnât over expensive. The soup was amazing. Too much food! Excellent service. Will return!

We had to book in advance to get table, and they seem to be full most nights We all had the set menu , which was traditional local food. It was all very tasty. This children's menu was pretty basic , but they were very happy with it. The food and service was very good and the meal was very good value for money. My wife felt it was the best tartiflet she had all holiday, I had to agree.

Now under new management and re-titled the 'Alpenrock' this wonderful little restaurant has been completely ruined. Drinks now served in paper/plastic cups and - admittedly good quality - food served in silly containers and over-priced with nothing less than 15 euros on the menu - no snacks/panini etc. We so miss Nadine and Didier the previous wonderful patrons!

Food and drinks were great at a resonable price considering location. Service was erratic depending on who you got on that day. Also being English was an issue for one or two servers, but that is our fault for not learning a few basic words, not theirs!!

Having enjoyed eating here last time we skied in Termignon, we ate here most nights. We were delighted that the owners remembered us from last year, and this set the tone for a very pleasant week. We tried pretty much everything on the menu, and couldn't fault anything at all. Sadly, we never had room for the house fondue, which looked huge! Perhaps next time, because I'm sure we'll be back next winter.

We arrived at 1900 hrs on a Wednesday evening without a reservation. Judging by the tumble weed blowing down the Main Street this didnât seem unreasonable. All the tables were laid out but there were no other diners present. After some considerable checking of the reservations book we were allowed to be seated and then we watched the same procedure being acted out twice more as people entered the restaurant. That said, the service was friendly although a little haphazard (one lady serving the whole room) and the food was delicious. Thin based pizzas and home made desserts. A pleasant meal and experience.

We stayed here 4 years ago when the Polish family had just taken over and came back to stay as it was so good. The rooms are not huge but really clean and facilities are good. the food is really nice and this time 2 of us had the Polish menu which was excellent. good value for money
