We had a drink with the best view ever. The location I so beautiful and calm. The food is made over the fire and the whole atmosphere is rustic. The coffee we got was not so good - but even with that the visit was a great experience. Thanks for your review, next time coffee is on the house.Espresso machine is backâï¸

After a day of viewing a round church, a sausage maker, a herring smoker and a red brick castle, this oasis on the harbor in Svaneke filled us with fresh local fare in three wonderful courses! The three salmon appetizer, lamb (not gamey) entree and strawberry tarte...all local harvest...satiated our souls!

We enjoyed a perfect German Spatburgunder (pinot noir) with delecious tapas with specialities from Bornholm. Very good service from wine expert (the owner). We look forward to next visit
Annette was really kind to us on an extremely windy day, where we just HAD to get ourselves 4 large porkbelly sandwiches - they did NOT disappoint! :D Large servings for small money and very tasteful. A small, simple slice of heaven on a cold, windy day!

This is a place for fishlovers. Various dishes are offered including different herring variations, fish and chips as well as fried cod with pommes frites and sauce remoulade. We tried the latter - the fish was perfectly prepared and tasted very well.

Louisekroen is definitely a place to stop by if you enjoy steaks. The steaks (sirloin and filet) at Louisekroen is probably the best served in Denmark, the meat is cured to a perfect level and is the best we have ever tasted! The suroundings is traditional and sides orders are secondary to the meat.A must-do for meat lovers..

I higly recommend this new restaurant in Svaneke. My girlfriend and I had a nice evening there in cosy athmosphere where the decor is thought out in every details. We went for the set menu â gravlax, Icelandic lamb and strawberries. The cook obviously knows what he is doing and shows respects to the food; all the courses were super tasty, innovative but never overdone. Our friendly waiter picked the wine with us with expertise (try the Georgian orange with the gravlax, its superb). Bubble wine to start with, three course menu with seleceted wines, good coffee and cognac, all this for little more than 1.000 dkk for two persons â thatâs fair to say the least!Takk fyrir! :)Thank you for taking time to write about us, it really means alot. Me and my housband are so passionate about our new little restaurant and this really gives an energy boost. Look forward in acoomodating you in the future.regards Tinna

There were a great number in our party for a destination wedding from America. We had a huge dinner here and the steak was excellent. I had the Garlic Steak; very good! I liked the Shrimp Scampi better than the Shrimp Cocktail. They continued to bring pictures of beer to the table for everyone to pour themselves. Good and cold! Service was excellent and very fun. They even went an extra step...they printed up special labels and put them on beers for us all to take as a "party favor"! Totally GREAT!

Our pizzas were not very good, in fact mine was poor. The ham was grey in colour as if it had been cooked. The ambience is good since this is the most popular restaurant around. It is nothin fancy though with benches in an outside yard. On top of that our bank is not recognised by the teller system, although it is a major bank. Hey Ugurd. What a pitty that you didnt like our pizzas. The ham comes from a local butcher and isnt coloured with foodcolour. In Denmark you cook a ham first and then slice it - so it was cooked ham and not raw or dried. After it is sliced it comes on the pizza and gets baked in the oven. Maybe you should try our vegetarian or vegan pizzas next time? You are always welcome! A little tip while travelling: Always have cash on you- you will never know where/when you gonna need them Some places dont even have cardmachines but only tales cash or mobilpay. Enjoy our amazing Island and the hot summer we have this year. Hugs, Carina
