This was a nice restaurant made even nicer by the fact that most of the other restaurants were closed for one reason or another. The food was good and as a bonus, there was a children't playroom attached to the non-smoking room. We were there in winter but there is a garden that looks like it will be nice in the summer.

V restauraci Hamajda vaÅà moc dobÅe. Vychytali jsme Äas na polednà menu, které bylo za skvÄlou cenu. Za 100 KÄ jsme mÄli polÃvku (zelÅaÄku s klobásou) tak i hlavnà chod v podobÄ kuÅecÃho ÅÃzku s bramborovým salátem. Pokud si ÄlovÄk nevybere s dennÃho menu, vidÄli jsme, že je možné si objednat i jiná jÃdla z jÃdelnÃho lÃstku. NejspÃÅ¡e dÃky tÄmto pÅÃznivým cenám a dobré kuchyni restaurace oÄividnÄ sloužà jako polednà restaurace pro dÄlnÃky.Restauraci můžeme vÅele doporuÄit.

Visited in January 2019 on ski-tour. Weather was wery snowy, so we were glad to find this pub/restaurant. We refreshed ourselves with some meals and hot wine. Beautiful old-fashioned stove inside where you can dry your gloves or shoes in the winter. Prices of meals and drinks are at the mountain level. Hot wine 50 CZK, meals 140 CZK.

We had a nice stay here during our tour do the local mini-brewery (200m away). I was admiring the way they've built all the rooms in the historical building not destroying the original feel. I didn't have an oportunity to dine there, but breakfast was nice as expected as well as the people running the inn. Recomended.

We came by accident, but visiting Vimperk next time we would surely come again. The minibrewery with a restaurant in a reconstructed medieval house offers excellent beer and tasty food to match, but most importantly, we had a feeling of hospitality offered by enthusiastic and wonderful people. It is not far from the main road (No. 4). Parking is better at the square or near the river crossing.

I think it would not much work to be good. Baby food in the good standard, Hamburg roast beef with dumpling with very tasty sauce, but with ice-cold vegetables and ham. Warm lentil salad with smoked salmon is not a good choice and the idea of a chef. Desserts are good and diligent staff. It goes better, boys

NavÅ¡tÃveno v lednu 2018. Naprosto otÅesná zkuÅ¡enost. Vstoupili jsme do restaurace v sobotu 13.1.2018 lehce po dvanácté hodinÄ. PÅed restauracà tabule, že jsou hotová teplá jÃdla + toÄené pivo. V nevelké restauraci dva stoly oznaÄeny jako Reservé a dvÄ mÃsta u baru. Pozdravili jsme a zdvoÅile se zeptali na kdy jsou rezervace, chtÄli jsme se rychle najÃst a odejÃt - byli jsme vázáni na odjezd autobusu za 40 minut. Následuje doslovný pÅepis naÅ¡Ã konverzace s obsluhujÃcà dámou (blond vlasy, menÅ¡Ã postava, cca 50-55 let): Já: Dobrý den, na kdy máte ty rezervace? Nebylo by možné se rychle najÃst a mizet? Dáma: No to teda ne, to je rezervace pro volebnà komisi. Nemůžete.Já: DobÅe, v poÅádku. Tak si sedneme na baru.O chvÃli pozdÄji:Já: PoprosÃme dvÄ malá piva a můžeme si objednat rovnou jÃdlo?Dáma: Ne, teÄ to nejde!!! Já: A proÄ?Dáma: Mám tady práci, musÃte si poÄkat.Já: My se potÅebujeme ale najÃst a chytit autobus, máme asi tÅiÄtvrtÄ hodiny Äas.Dáma: To máte blbý...Já: DobÅe, jak myslÃte. NajÃme se tedy jinde, pokud to u Vás nejde. Dáma: Jestli chcete rychlý jÃdlo, mÄli jste jÃt nÄkam do bistra.Já: Budu platit, odcházÃme!Nechápu, proÄ dáma pracuje v pohostinstvÃ, pokud se takto chová k lidem. Najedli jsme se tedy jinde, kde na nás byli milÃ. A dostali také pÅÃjemné spropitné.

My family and I visited several restaurants in Kasperske Hory and this one was the best by far. We went there twice during our stay as we loved the food and the service was way better than in the other restaurants in the village. They have swings and slides outside for children which kept mine entertained for the duration.The only downfall is that they haven't got menus in English (German and Czech only) so if you don't speak either of those languages then you will have to chance it :-) ... I'd recommend the restaurant to anyone.

After peeping into all Vimperk's restaurants, we have chosen Vodnik and it was really good choice. Romantic place with terrace over small pond was very nice in late summer, our children appreciated the wooden playground and well maintained lawn area. We had an excellent food - the best we had during our stay in the whole Sumava region. They have asked us how we like the steak and made it exactly the right way. Home made lemonade and american lemonade was sooooo refreshing and tasty. Perfect place for any occasion. They also organize weddings including ceremony, which I can imagine to be just magical there. I must also stress the perfect service and very nice and friendly staff. Definitely recommed for visit.Thank you very much for your opnion!
