Predictably terrific motorway restaurant by this fantastic chain. My tuna baguette sandwich and espresso were both excellent. As usual with this chain, the staff were all in national costume and the loos, which you usually pay for in Central Europe, were free.

Had a takeaway pizzas and a lasagne.......The Lasagne was nothing like a normal Lasagne, it was 2 lumps of stodge in a sweetish sauce. The Pizzas were also stodgy and a bit undercooked.Perhaps we caught them on a bad day, but whatever the problem was a waste of money.

Winterstellgut located high in the Dachstein mountains near Annaberg is one of those magical places. Breathtakingly beautiful with majestic views. On a bright sunny day sitting on the patio enjoying a sumptuous meal, simply divine. The cuisine matches the location in being superb and outstanding. From the delicious soups, excellent salads and appetizers to the delicious mains. Not to be missed are the outstanding deserts. The Kaiserschmarrn was one of the best I've had. In true Austrian fashion, the service and staff are very warm, welcoming and attentive to your needs. Overall, a must to visit and enjoy the magnificence of the surrounding beauty and outstanding cuisine.

Traditional local Food, served in a authentic Restaurant. Food is fresh and seasonal. You should feel welcome at our home.
But no more. Don't bother to try since you may find some better restaurants around. The food was OK, but there is no English menu and the stuff don't know English well enough to help you. Thank you for your assessment. We have an english menu and I´m sorry that the waitress didn´t gave it to you. I would be pleased if I could welcome you in our house again.Nice greets from Annaberg,Kathrin Buchsteiner

Restaurant just reviewed. This is not a hotel! Super friendly service. Potential great cooking with some fine dishes but too uneven. No rooms.

The small town of St. Martin is ideal for beginners and especially families with kids learning to ski. The restaurant is next to the skischool and the Knabllift, the meeting point for all skiclasses. The kids have lessons from 10:00-12:00 and 13:30-15:30 and in the one and half hour lunch break families generally troop into the Da Moare restaurant. As my kids mentioned: "It's a good restaurant mom, because when you order you get your drinks really quickly!". And this is absolutely true. Service is quick and cordial. The menu contains a large selection of pizza's, but Austrian traditional food as well, such as Schnitzel (though pork, not veal), Rostbraten etc. There is a children's menu with easy to remember names as Hansel and Grettel (sausage and fries), Speedy Gonzalez (children's pizza) and spaghetti etc. As I did not want to eat only meat the whole week, I opted for a grilled chicken breast salad for a couple of times, which was a great choice. So don't be afraid if you're not big on pizza or meat. I did find the pizza's a bit heavy on salt if I had to criticize. For dessert there was applestrudel (and some other choices), which though I did not try it myself, I was told was good.Another positive thing in my opinion was that when my kids ordered hot chocolate the temperature was adapted to not so scolding hot so they could drink it right away. Little touches like that make it a very agreeable place for families.Don't expect a very fancy place, nor a traditional Austrian Gasthof type restaurant, but a great place for lunch when skiing, that provides quick service, is clean and not too expensive. For lunch with two adults and two children including drinks we spent about 45 euro's. Expect maybe a bit more if you order more drinks and/ or alcohol.BTW Pizza's are takeout too.
Nice and warm restaurant with a large menu. We went with the xl schnitzel special and boy was it extra large! Great value for money! Quick, polite, cosy spot!

You sit overlooking St Martin as you eat delicious German/Austrian food! What else could you want! We ate here on our way down from the hike. It was a great way to end our hike up the mountain. Hearty and delicious. The view is simply wonderful!

We were here at an "off-season" time - thus it might be different, when the place is full. We loved the interior - one could believe, that it is old, and original "Typical Austrian".The service was quick and friendly. The choice was "enough".The beer and other drinks are also niceWe got the impression, that most of the soups and other food was "pre-made" -and using other ingredients, than made by themselves (though it was OK).Thank you Just something about the Food , everything is selfmade .. we dont buy pre-made Food ! This is why we dont have a big menu ! Greets Moa Stadl Team

K2 Cafe Restaurant is a small pleasure Restaurant with fresh and light kitchen and an english menu. For Kids we have a Play ground with lot of toys and DVD's. At Weekends we offer B'fast from 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM.
During our stay in St Martin we visited K2 three evenings in a row because it was so delicious! The venue is a cozy gem hidden in this little town! The atmosphere is modern and cozy with black and white photographs on the walls, wine shelves, and comfortable leather armchairs! The staff is friendly and polite, and on the third evening it felt like we were visiting some old friends! We tried the asparagus and parmesan soup, the beef soup, the chicken salad, Wiener schnitzel, cheeseburger, Asian wok, the chicken wrap, risotto with asparagus and fish, as well as the three sorbets! Kudos to the risotto! The best I have eaten not to mention that my partner ate half of it and he ears neither asparagus nor fish. Apparently, he eats them when they are that tasty! I can't wait to go back to K2!!!Greetings to the waiters and the chefs!
