I came here with my partner Saturday 5th October to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant was beautiful, really gorgeous decor with fairy lights and glass roof which really creates a stunning ambience. The food was really delicious and cooked to perfection. I had the smoked haddock and my partner went for the lobster! Itâs definitely worth it, so fresh. The only criticism I have is the service was very slow and scatty. Served by 4 different people! We asked for dessert menus and waited 20 minutes, they still never came so asked for the bill, waited another 10 minutes for that, then still had to ask for it! Service could be improved but the atmosphere and food was superb.

Following the launch of our restaurant, The Salutation offers a wealth of dining options, from dawn âtil dusk. With the North Wing opened up to accommodate our state of the art kitchen, our dining rooms fully refurbished, and our tearoom given a fresh sta
My friend and I visited this restaurant for an afternoon tea. We are both Coeliacs so therefore gluten free was required. Lovely surroundings, pleasant staff.Four fillings of sandwichâs were presented to us, which were pleasant but we would have preferred to have chosen the fillings we wanted. The sweet items were well presented, and very tasty. Within the price of the afternoon tea was admission to the award winning gardens. The only negative comment about the visit, was that we was sitting in one of the restaurants eating our tea, music playing. The room was nearby the kitchen, staff within the kitchen were shouting very loudly and this went on for some time. Eventually they had to shut the door of the dining room to shut out the noise!

Casual fine dining from Victuals & Co, Deal. Using the the best of local fresh produce wherever possible, our menu reflects the seasons. It is small and changes frequently and our chefs strive to maintain a consistently high quality and diversity. We will
We were looking forward to our meal here as the reviews are so good. The greeting when we said weâd not eaten there before was, âthatâs probably a good thing....â! Not a good start! We waited 15 minutes for our order to be taken, the food is over-priced and average the night we were there. £91 for two courses for two plus a bottle of wine.Felt under staffed and chaotic, though friendly in a low key panicky way.

The Dining Club although now established for 7 years, is a new style of dining venue. It is unique in that you book a table and will be seated in individual dining rooms that feel more like a private dinner party than a restaurant - Proprietors Scott & Su
Last night my wife and I travelled the short distance to Deal in Kent to have our first taste of The Dining Club. Set in Deal's magnificent conservation area, The Dining Club can be found in what was previously a house, converted into a number of rooms for dining. The concept is that one registers with the club for an annual fee of £10 and are then able to book for any of the fine-dining evenings on offer throughout the year. Meals are available on Fridays, Saturdays and Wednesdays, with diners asked to bring their own wine as the Club does not have a drinks licence. A corkage fee of just £2 is charged.Last night I had Chicken Liver Mousse to start, followed by Coq au Vin. Both dishes were superb. The quality was absolutely first class. My wife, a non-meat eater, had an Asparagus Mousse and a Quorn chicken main course as an alternative. She too found her selections to be perfect. For dessert we both had Roasted Oranges in Caramel, accompanied by Chocolate Ice-cream and then we finished off with a selection of cheeses and biscuits. All of the courses were large portions and we both dragged ourselves out after 2 hours or so feeling well and truly sated!Total cost? Just £20 each for the first 3 courses, plus the £2 corkage charge and a further £10 for our shared cheese plate, ( which we really didnât need I can assure you)!So that was our first experience of Deal's Dining Club. It was superb, I mean absolutely faultless. The food was excellent, the service very informal and friendly and the setting and ambience very welcoming. We shall be going back a lot I'm sure. Our only reservation is the amount we're going to eat there! If you want a very affordable, but absolutely high quality fine dining experience then I recommend this place unreservedly. Do give it a go.

The allotment is a lovely restaurant with a good choice of freshly cooked food. It also has a very nice enclosed terrace to the rear of the property. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Well worth a visit if you are in Dover.

We choose this restaurant because was late and the one we wanted to go was not serving meals that evening. The restaurant is simple but nice and warm but the meal was wonderful. I took a surf and turf and the meat was tender like butter. My wife and daughter took the fish and chips, crispy and light. My boy took an hamburger also very tasty and juicy. Apple pies with custard really good as well. We also discovered that on the bottom of the restaurant (where the toilets are located) there is a canteen with live music. We were tired but next time we'll definitely end the evening down there.

The pasta dishes are simple but well cooked and very tasty, the Irish coffee was also very good. The service we had was fine but then again the restaurant wasnât too busy. The restaurant decor is nice but not the best for the waitress with a small spiral staircase that needed to be negotiated while carrying up trays of food and drinks and she didnât seem to be the best at multi tasking so was up and down far more than was necessary.

Went with some great friends on a continuing food tour of east Kent. Weâve been to many good places. This is the BEST so far (by a country mile). We had the tasting menu with accompanied wine flight. Each course was delicious and innovative. Weâre coming back!

81 Beach Street is our celebration of what makes good restaurants great - fine food without the fuss. A cross between a restaurant and a bistro we offer an eating experience that goes beyond the need for nourishment. We are based in beautiful Deal on the
4 adults for lunch. Had starters and mains which included whitebait, beets, soup, partridge, hake and seafood linguine all beautifully presented. Finished with coffee. Restaurant was fairly full and we booked which we would recommend you do and a little wait for food to arrive but not an issue. Quiet and very relaxed and good to sit over a meal. Staff were lovely and helpful. Food good quality and decent menu range too. Price point mid range. We will go again.
