We have been here many times and based on this experience I would have no hesitation in awarding 5***** However, on our last visit, a sunny day, there were clearly too few waiters for the tables outside, service became slow, waiters were hassled, food delayed, customers complained and overall the experience hugely disappointing. It's a shame because usually the food is good and the service efficient. The simple lesson here must be don't take more bookings than you know you can handle.

I really liked this restaurant. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food sounds basic - burgers, pizzas, local delicacies plus cooking your own meat on a hot stone (which included zebra, bull and kangaroo) - but actually it's really tasty and above average for that type of food. The portions are generous and nicely presented.

Notre établissement situé dans les hauteurs de Siviez offre un cadre splendide durant toute l'année. Profitez de notre terrasse ensoleillée au pied des pistes en hiver et au son des cloches des reines en été.
The location at the bottom of they ski slopes with an excellent view on the mountains is superb. the south orientated and sunny terras is probably the major reason to visit the cafe/restaurant. Do not expect quality or reasonable food and certainly do not expect friendly or professional service. Even the most simpel dishes, a swiss cheese sandwich ordered by a party of six, was completely mixed up. Chez Caroline served the 5 simplest cheapest, sandwiches, whilst 6 others were ordered. The 6th never arrived, also after a one hour wait and several reminders to the waitress. To make the disillusion complete, contained the bill 6 of the most expensive sandwiches.

Very friendly, professional and efficient service. Beautiful presentation of the food. Good menu selection. We had the toast with chanterelles and fresh berries for dessert. Fair prices. Great view. One of my favorite places in the Verbier mountains.

Nico has restored a village atmosphere to Saclentse, we have a bar restaurant which serves beautifully prepared and cooked Valaisenne food in particular and other more standard dishes in a convivial atmosphere where 'etranger' are welcomed by him and the
This could be the revival of the lovely village of Saclentse. It is ideally situated and has a super couple as hosts. Not only do they do local food they do Brazilian specialities. They have an outside are that is grassy and floral and in indoor pétanque area. Plenty of parking.

La Taverne de lâAlpee is an excellent place for a good lunch. Although the menu might not seem to be very exciting the dishes are of good quality (with particularly the omelettes and croutes among my favourites). So why not the highest rating? The prices are relatively high, the service was extraordinarily slow and the dishes were very good ... but just not exceptional.
We skiied past a couple of times and were intrigued to see a Tipi on a ski slope so called in one day for drinks and another for lunch! We had to wait a while for seats. Sent the husbands in for food and drink while we grabbed seats. Found the food, location and atmosphere great and reasonable for Verbier!!

We discovered the restaurant a year ago and planned on going back for their signature dish « la potence ». However, when reserving a table we were told that the owner as well as the type of cuisine had changed... after checking the menu online, we decided to give it a try and happily we did! Itâs a little gem, something very different from other restaurants in Nendaz that serve more traditional/typical dishes! The food is delicious, innovative and very tasty. Plus the staff is charming! What a great discovery!

We were lucky to get at table outside as this place is clearly popular with regular locals and tourists walking the bisses. Conveniently situation at the cross roads of Bisse de Vex, Bisse Vieux and Bisse de Milieu it's a great place to stop for lunch. The staff have a lovely relaxed warmth and friendliness. The food was lovely - just what was needed after a long walk to build up an appetite. It's reasonably priced. Having tried this one and the one just further up the road I'd choose this one every time. If you're walking from Veysonnaz on the Bisse de Vex when you get to the sign saying "restaurant 10 minutes" - just go straight ahead up the steep hill and you'll find this restaurant.

Our concept is clear and simple: in-house production of traditional and high fermentation beers, in a place especially set up for this purpose. Les BRASSEURSâ focus on love of the brewing industry and craft of traditional products, creating nostalgic tast
A beer brewery type pub/restaurant located in the centre of Sion (where every second house is a vineyard and every third house is a beer brewery). Staple food, well cooked, nicely served, good pizzas, some Valaisin specialties but nothing extraordinary. Clean but not much by way of décor or ambiance. However, the home brewed beer on tap is excellent and very reasonably priced. A "safe" place at which to enjoy a quiet dinner on a business trip.
