The place is wonderfully chosen, you can have both sun and shade. I recommend coming for breakfast or brunch when it is not very crowded. The staff was friendly and with a good vibe. We've chosen breakfast no. 8 and 9 out of the menu. Our experience was a very pleasant one. Thank you!

Table is sticky and superficially cleaned. We asked for foccacia and we received pizza base with a terrible tomato sauce. Waiters have difficulties understanding the requests.

With its location and its layout, it looks the part, but it's one to avoid When we ate there (on 22 July, as noted in another comment) it would be an overstatement to say that we were welcomed with indifference: we weren't welcomed at all, and had to find our own seats. A group of Americans that arrived a few minutes after us were similarly ignored, and it was left to me to advise them just to find seats. (In retrospect, I would have done better to tell them to try elsewhere.)This standard of hospitality and care for customers only got worse during the evening. We had to attract the attention of the waiter to order drinks, then food, then ask for the bill. (The latter took about 20 minutes to arrive, to the extent that we were tempted just to walk out.) Since we were being studiously ignored by our own waiter - Alex - we tried to get attention from one of the waitresses, but she was just as bad. Halfway through the meal, we ordered a beer and a glass of wine: the beer arrived immediately, but after another 20 minutes we had to ask again for the wine.As for the food, my wife had a pasta bake that was okay, but was overpriced for what it was. I had a shambles of a meal - bean stew with sausages. The stew was completely flavourless, not helped by the (very ordinary) sausages not being cooked in it, which I would have expected, but simply grilled and dumped on top of the beans. My wife ordered one of the "freshly-made" desserts, which again took over 20 minutes to arrive - probably because it was taking that long to defrost. My first beer had an odd flavour - a hint of a perfume, I thought. The second was lacking this, which leads me to conclude that the first one had been served in a glass that had not been properly washed. In sum, this meal was more than mediocre, a lot worse than some of the self-service restaurants we ate in. More worryingly, nowhere else in Romania, which is a country of welcoming, friendly and helpful people, did we encounter such poor service.

Sat in the lovely courtyard with the customary Romanian cat wandering around underfoot. Ordered our dinners but then tour groups came in to pre-set tables and we watched them eat soup and main course and dessert while we waited about an hour to be served. My husband’s pork medallions, my Hungarian goulash and mixed salad were very good but what wouldn’t be at that point? No explanation or comped appetizer. Trying not to impose my country’s way of doing things but this bordered on rude.

We like trying new places but went back to Raluca three times for the excellent Romanian food. I had the pork and sausage with polenta and was initially worried about how the meat would be - especially at the low price - but in fact, it was good quality, tender and savoury. The restaurant has a nice little patio with a view, too, and then it is only a few steps after dinner to the clock tower square.

I was 2 days in Sighisoara with my 7 friends, and we were looking for a nice place to eat, with competitive prices. I totally recommend La Perla, we were there 3 times. Nice and quick service, good pizza, gulash with beans (it is enough for 2persons:) ). Very good papanasi and Ciorba de burta, also mici was delightful and big. Great place to talk and eat not far from the clock tower.

You had better like meat if you eat here. There are vegetarian options, but the menu is heavy on meat and hearty options. We started by sharing a traditional cheese and meat platter and it was enormous. So big that we shared a chicken paprika and then shared an apple strudel. With beer to accompany dinner and cappuccino over dessert, it came to RON110 (USD$25.59) including tip. Good food but not superb.

tucked away on a street a stones throw from the main square, opposite one of the many churches, this place is one of the best restaurants in sighisoara, and i suggest you dont miss it. i ate here twice...the second time mainly because as i passed, one of the 5 tables outside was free, and it was just a beautiful evening. i was planning to go somewhere else, but it seemed too good to miss as they are usually reserved, and being conflicted on what to eat the first time, i could get my second choice! YUM!the first time i ate the pork balanced on a bed of mashed potato with beetroot relish. the pork was a very well cooked, and a very large portion, but, i cant deny the potato was undercooked and undermashed, very dissapointing as mash is one of my favourite things, and one of the reasons i ordered this dish. however, all was not lost. because i was a bit meh about this i ordered the chocolate souffle with homemade icecream...and OMG it was something of a meg ryan moment!!! just totally delish, and i could have eaten this multiple times!!! YUM! with the main i had a glass of the house wine, which is in fact, a quarter litre, and was ok, but not fantastic, and was a bit fed up that the only sweet drink they had to go with the souffle was baileys. still, whatever. the second time...as i said outside on a balmy evening with rooks swooping around the belfry watching the sun go down i ate the salmon with mango and red pepper with a couple of warm rolls. the fish was just deliciously crunchy on the outside, and melt in your mouth delicious. with it a drank a bottle of romanian rose, which just went so well with the food. lovely meal.have to say, the service in romania is not the most attentive, friendly or caring, but here the waiters were lovely, and if i ever find myself back in sighisoara i would definitely eat here again.

We went there for three nights. The place is very nice, the personal is acceptable friendly and the meals are probably the weakest point of this place. You can eat enough, you don’t need to leave the place hungry, but I you want something very special, you might be disappointed. The meals are also ok, but not on the level of this price range. For this amount of money others make a bigger effort, even in Romania.
