At lunch time after a visit to Solihull Hospital and on our way back to Mell Square we passed Esabella's. It is a very pleasant restaurant and we were promptly greeted and shown to a table. Service was good despite number of customers and the waitress being on her own. We decided to eat the lunch menu although the a la carte did look very inviting. My wife began with Hock Terrine and pronounced it very good indeed. I started with the Tomato soup. It was clearly homemade and was a fine example of what this dish should be. For mains my wife chose Chicken and myself Hake. They were both excellent dishes which exhibited good ingredients, skilfully and well prepared.Overall this was an excellent lunch enhanced by very good value. We are difficult to please but this is a restaurant to which we will return.

Hampton Manor is the home to Peelâs restaurant where our food is inspired by our Victorian walled garden. The relationships we build allow us to gather the best produce from this islandâs farms and shores. Our cellars showcase handcrafted organic and natu
Peel's have been one of our firm favouries for over past few years, including before becoming a Michelin star resaurant. We like food everything about it: food, the setting with great bbalance between contemporary style of the dining room and traditional surroundings of Hampton Manor itself; warm, friendly and attentive staff.

Friendly and intimate family run restaurant. Innovative English based cuisine prepared by chef/proprietor Doug Long. Changes to menu daily.Beautiful garden area for alfresco dining. Early evening and lunch Prix Fixe menu available. Open for Sunday lunch.
Decided on this restaurant as we were staying near by before we flew out to Mexico The food was amazing I had the mushrooms and noodles should of come with beef but I asked for mushrooms instead, couldnât believe the amount of food it was so tasty. My husband had the steak he didnât leave anything on his plate We also had two starters. Not expensive for the quality of food. The outside space is brilliant for a private party with outside bbq and bar.You can also hire out the whole restaurant for a private function.I wish it was closer to where we live we would use it a lot....

Was slightly concerned that the restaurant was located in a shopping centre, but from the minute you walked inside you could have been anywhere. Delivered nothing less than youâd expect from a first class restaurant. Polite, efficient and knowledgeable service. Good menu and wine choice and first rate food. If youâre a foodie, Iâd definitely recommend.

Italian restaurant based in the heart of Acocks Green. We take pride in preparing all our food to order on the premises using the finest fresh produce and ingredients
Having read the reveiws, I think we may have caught this restaurant on an off-day as our experience was not great. Visited for a family occasion and were 'greeted' by a surly member of staff. He seemed especially miffed when we didn't order drinks (just tap water). Took forty minutes for four pizzas and then one of the orders was incorrect, despite us being the only people in the whole restaurant! Barely an apology and then a further wait for the correct dish. Pizzas were disappointingly sparse of toppings, very greasy and worryingly uniformed in shape. No pizza-cutter offered nor provided. The knives that were given were barely adequate for the job. Our table seemed to be attracting numerous fruit flies throughout our meal which was off-putting.

Sapore is an independent Italian restaurant in the heart of the Midlands.
Glass of wine has washing up liquid, replaced and refilled by waiter. Music loud. Meatballs starter in cheese sauce lovely. Veal dish was tough and very, very salty. Pasta dishes average. Really looking forward to trying this restaurant but would not return. Food was presented nicely though, shame about taste.
