Based in the centre of Albalies a welcoming and refined placewhereyou can breathe the air of Hemingwayâsscenes, from Paris to Havana, from Florian to the Harris Bar, sipping drinks until2am or sampling typicaldishes and delicious snacks. This small parlou
We had two meals in this restaurant. The first evening it was really very good, with an excellent fresh tomato sauce on our pasta, which was cooked to perfection and a delicious tagliata. We were so impressed that we returned the next evening, only to be somewhat disappointed. They were very busy as it was a Friday evening, and the food was simply not as good. I wouldn't go back there to eat at the weekend, but there were plenty of Italians having a pre-dinner buffet and drinks (the aperitivo), which all looked very interesting. I would stick to that next time.

A nice and fresh remaking of the piedmontese tradition with local ingredients. Tradition and innovation will guide you in a foodie Langa experience
Having traveled in Sardinia where "agriturismo" meant a menuless, never-ending meal of hearty regional dishes for one low, set price, we were somewhat taken aback by this agriturismo dining experience. Despite the rustic atmosphere and mid-range menu prices, make no mistake - this is an upscale dining experience. There is an a la carte menu as well as a price fixed "tasting menu" of 6 courses (for 33 euro) or 8 courses (for 38 euro.) The young chef Isaia displays his talents with innovative takes on regional specialities served in delicate portion sizes. His proud mamma Luigia serves as waitress and is very warm and welcoming. We went on a Friday evening for dinner. Although we had made a reservation, it was not full so you could probably just drop in. I would recommend this place if you have an adventurous, sophisticated palate and enjoy fine dining. If you are expecting an abundant meal of down-to-earth regional cooking, you may be disappointed.

Went for dinner, the treatment by staff was beyond reproach. Friendly, accommodating, interesting and elegant. The food is outstanding and a few interesting takes on local favorites for example the Tajarin with guinea fowl was a delight. The chef is very talented. The building and view are stunning. Highly recommended. Price was very fair for quality of service and food. We were actually pleasantly surprised when the bill came. We loved every bit of it and will be back.

We were lucky enough to be able to combine stay at the castle (thanks to our friend who did research and Denise who helped us with choosing the best suite) and at the same time experience delicious food Denise creates every day with the help of her very attentive staff. I loved that you are invited by the staff into a very beautiful room when your table is ready. Before that you can enjoy drink in a little charming living room with nice bar. Dinner - Great menu choices, as well as wine selection. Food is delish. Strongly recommend if you are staying in Castello or visiting the area. Enjoy!

I went with 2 friends and had an excelleng lunch. We were over half an hour late as we had been wine tasting next door but they were very understanding when we pitched up. We also brought along 3 bottles of wine from next door which they didn't mind. The setting was lovely and the view out of the window very pretty. The service was also very good. I was very envious of my friend's main course which was the lamb on a hot plate.

Meal started out great, but as the restaurant got busier, the attention to detail dropped off into an abyss. One agnolotti dish had parmesan grated on top... when another of us ordered it for a main, no cheese was offered. End of meal took 25 minutes between receiving check and them collecting it to process credit card. Unacceptable. Overall, not memorable food or service, though others may have had better luck.

Had an excellent dinner here last evening. The food was very well prepared & delicious. They have an amazing wine cellar also. I was told the second largest in the Alba regions. Second only to la ciao del tornavento which is also another excellent restaurant. We did not see the rooms, it is also a hotel, but judging by the restaurant they also must be beautiful. I would definitely return here again for dinner & a lunch to enjoy the view.

This restaurant is part of the "Il Boscareto resort", a couple of miles outside the community of Serralunga d'Alba, in the heart of the Langhe. The luxurious resort offers superb lodging in a beautiful building that sits on top of one of the many hills in the Langhe. The view is spectacular, and the resort is surrounded by vineyards. From here, you can see several of the other communities of the Alba conglomerate: Barolo land! The spa offers Turkish and steam baths and a full wellness center. The restaurant is sparingly and elegantly furnished, with simple lines and subdued colors. Service is discreet and efficient. The tasting menu changes with the availability of ingredients and the Michelin-starred chef requires the freshest of all components for his exceptionally delicious creations. Relax and let the chef do the heavy lifting. This will be a memorable experience.Dear Gabriel,Thank you for sharing your experience with us.We are extremely glad you enjoyed Il Boscareto. The location, the SPA, the restaurant and all the services are meant to spoil our guests and your words make us proud and happy.Greetings from Serralunga D'Alba!Lorena, Il Boscareto Resort & SPA Team

We had a great lunch here. The food was delicious (a touch modern) with superb freshness and execution. The wine list is fabulous! So many gems, so little time. Great views of the vineyards. Friendly service. All around excellent.
