We ate at this establishment while on a European motoring holiday. We were told by the locals that this was THE place to eat true authentic pizza - how right they were. Service was brilliant throughout. No artificial/ frozen/ ready made/ pre-prepared produce at this place. Everything is fresh.Our pizzas were cooked to perfection - the size of them being in a word - HUGE. The taste ?Everything on the base was cooked to perfection, each ingredient came through, enabling you to enjoy the wonderful flavours. The dough base was absolutely perfect.Highly recommend this place - definately one for the world gastro map.

I had the pasta pepperoncino and my girlfriend had the ravioli with spinach, ricotta and sage. In my personal opinion two of the best pasta dishes i had during my stay in italy. I would like to thank god for creating earth, ppl, italy, pasta and the ppl behind this place.

This is a welcome new addition to the fast food scene in Lucca. It is a sort of mixture between British toasted sandwiches, American short order deli-style and traditional Italian panini.Prices are from around 4.00-6.00 euros for hot sandwiches using different types of bread and finished off in the microwave.We chose one of the newer combinations written on paper hanging down from the counter, and a more traditional filling but with French fries. The packaging is also very clever and you can eat it indoors, sitting down or standing by a shelf.It has only been here 9 months so it has made an impact quickly.Definitely recommended.Athyoz we thank you for your review. We have been in Lucca for only 10 months but we believe in the quality of the products, in the kindness and availability towards you and you customers have given us confidence and in a short time we have conquered a small space in the fast catering of this beautiful city. We stayed at Villa Marta and enjoyed the food so much we ate here for two of the three nights were were there. Everything was perfectly prepared. They also offered a nice breakfast buffet in the mornings for guests in their newly constructed patio area. Great service and food.

As a frequent visitor to Lucca, I have my favourite restaurants - but decided to try this new restaurant. I had booked a table outside on the terrace facing the Puccini museum. The service was great - and the food served, while typical of Tuscan food & Lucca specialities - had a special twist, superbly presented in the plate, and really delicious. This place will join my list of favourite restaurants!

We were staying at Bagni Di Pisa and were lucky enough to experince this fantastic restaurant. Every course was presented beautifully and was totally delicious with. The staff really made our experience even more special by being so attentive and personable. This truly was a meal to remember.

If you have time for a leisurely drive into the hills near Lucca for a Sunday brunch, this is the reflect place. We enjoyed an excellent meal over several hours, as Matteo took care of our every need. Excellent service, excellent food.I'd return anytime I'm in the area.

Desperation drove us to stop for lunch during the long drive from Florence to Genoa. Seemed like a chips with everything place with strange décor in the middle of nowhere. Still it satisfied our craving for food before we journeyed on. At euro92.50 for seven people, it was not the cheapest lunch we had on our tour, nor the best. The cover charge was 2.50 a head so that turned out to be about 20% of the bill.

We visited it for lunch on a sunday. The restaurant is part of a small country hotel (agriturismo) few kilometers from Pisa and Lucca. Our choice was for meat. We had tagliata, perfectly cooked and prepared, and chianina tartar prepared in three different styles.Pasta was also very well prepared. The "pappa al pomodoro tortelli" ( a closed pasta with a tomato inside) were not only original but also very delicate yet tasty. Service was fast and waiters were adequate. Price was about 40 to 45 euros per person. We will return and we will suggest it to friends

Speciality of the Day Tuna, offered ouside the set menu, grilled or baked with breadcrums sounded attractive, specially when I asked what Tuna is was, Yellow Fin.Great, 3 orders please all grilled, that`s where the disappointment kicked in, 3 times so overcooked with nothing Pink or reddish left, just a grey dry texture, a faillure from the kicthen, far to long in de pan, pff a beginners mistake,Reclamation to the waiter, let to NO result, just the short answer, you need to talk to the manager, that`s it.The ambiance of the place made some good, its has this historic atmosphere, so typical for Tuscany.If around again I will walk in for a coffee or so en leave the dinner thing.
