Located centrally in the old town, this was a fine place to call in for lunch or dinner for a quick pasta. Rustic and popular with local families.

Good, broad menu, lots of options for kids and adults. Fresh pasta menu too, from which we had a couple of good dishes. Nice staff, lovely homemade puddings, good drinks selection. Worth a visit.

We called into this bar for a couple of drinks and found the staff were very helpful, friendly and spoke good English. The drinks were reasonably priced. Although we didn't eat there the food that we saw coming out looked good. Nice location along the front.

Nothing special. Nothing to remember. The wine was terrible. We changed two types of wine witch were unsafe to drink and then we asked for beer. The food was average to poor. The staff seamed upset and was unwelcome.

the friendliness and the warm welcome that people from La Palma give you are only part of the charm of this restaurant.Food is excellent. A touch of creativity on traditional dishes. Improving the quality of service would help to increase the already good rating of the restaurant.

Perfect for lunch and dinner for couples and friends. Ideal for parties too. The food is excellent prepared with fresh meat, fish and vegetables. The service is professional and friendly. The value for money is very fair.

La Isla de Goya, tapas - bar where you can enjoy different dishes to share, from tostadas, salads, portions ... and of course different tapas. New suggestions every week!!!
Stumbled across this place during the Carneval (which basically involves talcum powder being thrown over everybody within range) after finding no space in nearby places. The aubergine with honey sounded interesting and was an excellent choice, even though I thought a mistake had been made when it arrived, as it looked like lots of small fish, battered (and I don't eat fish). It was delicious and decidedly different...and I hadn't read the reviews recommending it in advance, so it was a fine choice.Reasonable prices and good service, and right across the road from the beach, should you fancy a swim afterwards

8 scruffy soaking wet walkers arrived in mid afternoon and the chef said no problem. Very elegant ambiance, welcoming staff, made to feel we were welcome guests, fish options fully explained and no pressure to order despite late arrival. Service impeccable and not intrusive. We had a variety of starters and main courses. All well presented. The portions were surprisingly large, very tasty and the waiter remarked on the clean plates we left!! This was one of our best eating experiences in the Canaries. Pity its so far from the UK.

tA great restaurant tucked away but not too far from Santa Cruz. The food was quite memorable served on a table barbecue. What a feast. The service was brilliant and there were no signs of commercialism. the waiter was very polite and the cost very reasonable. Would certainly recommend this excellent restaurant.
Where to Eat in Santa Cruz de la Palma: The Best Restaurants and Bars

This restaurant is the |No. 1 in Santa Cruz, according to trip advisor. What a find! (it certaily took some finding as it is hidden away near lPlaceta Square). It's tiny, sitting 14 at a squash. The lady in charge tells you what it is on the menu (this takes some time). It is always fresh food, freshly cooked, and changeable daily. It is organic and non dairy. There was soup, several salads for starters, fresh tuna, pork, vegetarian lasagne, and tagliatelli for main, and puddings were ice cream, mousses or sorbet. Wine was excellent, and with coffee, a bottle of brandy was left with shot glasses, and a box of chocs. Three hours later everyone (english, german, finnish and danish) was merry and chatting. A wonderful evening.
