We had lunch in the restaurant and really enjoyed the tastes and ambiance of this busy restaurant opposite the bus terminus. We then had dinner later in the week and we both had shell fish ,what an experience.Unfortunately we were coming home the next day or we would have had a return visit.Grazie di cuore.Un saluto e a presto.Ivan

Eating outside on the promenade was delightful. My salad was enough for an entree and my entree, a simple spaghetti with garlic and oil oil, a special request since not on the menu, was excellent. Al dente with just enough red pepper flakes. The cheese and meat platter was fresh and delicious. Four of us ate it all. The staff was extraordinary to the smallest detail. By fair the best meal for nine days in Italy!

I really advise this restaurant. Amazing dish, very fresh food and with a nice wine cart (unfortunately without Emilia Romagna wines ;-)...Itâs a joke Iâm a wine producer). The location are fantastic, front lake with a beautiful view. If you are in the area you have to discover this restaurant! Very nice and friendly people. All was wonderful.See you next time and thanks.

Stumbled across this little jewel of a restaurant while strolling through the back streets of Garda. We certainly werenât disappointed and were warmly greeted with a complimentary glass of aperol as we sat down. We shared a cold cuts and cheese platter which was lovely followed by a fresh tomato basil and red onion pizza which was the best weâve tasted on this trip. This was again followed by a tiny complimentary ice cream.... all perfect and lovely washed down with a litre of wine wine, all less than â¬40

Restaurant and Pizzeria on the river of Lake Garda with pier, aperto tutto l'anno, open all year round. The menu is the result of the chef's experience with tradition and local products.
this place is situated just on the the lake with a beautiful view but unfortunately we reached late so was nearly dark so the view was gone anyhow the food the food what we ordered was good only found the service a little slow although they were not fully booked> two people ordered fish and one got only after one had finished anyhow now for the food was really nice the branzino was really tasty have a good timeThank you for the review. Doesn't look that much different to all the other restaurants alongside the lake but we enjoyed the best meal of our stay on Lake Garda. The weather meant that we ate indoors. We shared an excellent starter of parma ham and melon - doesn't sound that exciting but it was delicious - finely cut ham and succulent melon. OH chose the pluma pork which looked like ribs but was just nicely marinated tender pork. I had Filetto Elegante wrapped in lardo and without doubt the finest piece of fillet steak I have ever eaten. The owner (Nicola ??) explained the provenance - from the cows on the hills around Monte Baldo. He seems to take great care in every part of the operation and it shows. The chef was happy to wander out and chat. Memorable experience.

Terrazza esterna con vista panoramica sull'intero lago di Garda
I basically summed it up in the title, this restaurant provides ample outside seating overlooking the lake and the surrounding countryside and although it's in the center of a village, traffic didn't feel like an issue. The staff, although busy are attentive and very friendly. The food was good considering the size of the restaurant and the amount of clientele.

The "Gardesana" building has more than 500 years of history. It has been built by the Venetian Republic for the meetings of the Council of the Ten Communes of this side of the lake. After Napoleon, during the Austrian domination, until 1866, it had a dark
I recently returned from a two-week vacation in the Veneto region, of which the highlight was -- of course -- eating. And I had expected this place to be among the best. The reality was quite the contrary: it was easily the most disappointing culinary experience. The only dish that lived up to the hype was the "buon Ricardo" dish of crepes with local perch filling. These were indeed magnificent, melt-in-your-mouth light and creamy. Another member of our party had spinach risotto with shrimp, which was creatively presented, but not out-of-this world; the shrimp were far from the most succulent I had seen this region. What really disappointed was our main dish of Lake Garda pike. The fish itself was slightly overcooked. The overall dish was extremely bland, with an unidentifiable white sauce; I had guessed it might be hollandaise, but it had none of the tang of hollandaise. Additionally, the waitstaff did not get our order right; they brought the risotto first, then two plates of the Lake Garda pike. Somehow they missed the fact that another member of our party had ordered the buon Ricardo plate. This isn't an earth-shattering mistake, but this place is trying to present an image of formalistic, "old world" service. What comes across is is a vague sense of decadence and disinterest, in a way a bit reminiscent of the movie THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL.We enjoyed the flourless chocolate truffles given as a complementary dessert, and the pre-dinner glass of spumanti. Overall, however, I'd say Albergo Gardesana is riding on its reputation. (It's hosted celebrities such as Maria Callas, Churchill, and the Kennedys in previous years.) It needs a new chef with an envigorated menu.

Small restaurant located on the east coast of Lake Garda ( Torri del Benaco). Le Gemme di Artemisia offers cooking class in the morning and restaurant at the evening time with only 3 tables , therefore it is highly recommended to book it in advance. We ha
We truly enjoyed our cooking class with Chef Andrea, and Lara. They treated my family and I to a great day of learning how to prepare our lunch, and then being able to eat it later. I am not much of a cook, but had a great time. Their restaurant is in a beautiful, quiet location, with scenic views. Chef Andrea also recommended a restaurant back in NJ that he had previously worked as a guest chef a few times recently. Thank you both for a great experience.
