I enjoyed a superb 7 course tastingMenu at La Gana with matching wine pairing last week. With attentive service, wonderful cuisine and excellent wine, the evening was perfect. I have eaten at many Michelin starred restaurants and La Gana holds its own with any of them. Looking forward to return on my next visit to the Dolomites! We are so grateful for your amazing review! Itâs the best feeling to receive these great memories of our Guests. Such a pleasure to have your confirmation that our Restaurant could compete with starred restaurants, thank you so much! You will be more than Welcome to come back: we are looking forward! We wish you all the best, Fam. Schanung and Collaborators

We visited twice, once skied in for lunch which was efficient good mountain food. The second time was at night for a feast.Collected from San Cassiano by ex military snow mobile was exciting. Very welcoming team with loads and loss of food. Very warm dining room which was hard work with so much food and drink. Food food though. Long evening expect not to return to base station until 11pm despite what you may be told....

We really loved our dinner and the overall experience. The setting of this renovated ex-barn below the Dolomites is spectacular. You are in rural country and park beside a pasture. Warmly greeted and acknowledged. Like other places in Alta Badia, your menu is in German, Italian and English. German mostly spoken, but their English was fine. A very extensive menu and wine list. Prices are not cheap though. We ordered two meat dishes and they were incredible. Very clean and tidy place with a good ambience to enjoy your meal. Service was prompt and efficient. We ate inside, but there is dining outside as well. Very unique setting and if you are in Alta Badia this is a must.

Recently refurbished, the Bamby mountain hut is on the piste of the same name which, from Piz La Ila, leads towards San Cassiano. The rustic style in which the shelter is furnished is complemented by the terrace, where lunch in the sunshine can be lingere
At Bamby the food is first class. We have tried many of their dishes over the years, and were never disappointed. The staff are excellent. they are friendly, attentive, speak several languages (Italian, German and English are no problem) and they also have menu's in those languages. The service is pretty fast when you order drinks, food takes a little longer but is still fast and well worth waiting for. The hamburgers are exquisite because the meat they use is top notch. Full of flavor! Seating is nice: outside there is a view of the slope, and usually little or no wind, inside is nicely decorated, rustic, wooden everything. Warm and welcoming. Bamby remains one of the best skislope restaurants I've ever been to. Keep up the good work and we'll be back!

"The best things are the simplest things. But at the same time the hardest things to do." Says Norbert Niederkofler and describes his cooking philosophy as simple, clear and clean. The Restaurant St. Hubertus, whose name stands for the patron of the hunte
Dining here is an event and we would not have missed it. St. Hubertus is probably the most approachable 3-Michelin star restaurant we've tried; every staff member was welcoming and friendly and every question we had about the menu was patiently answered. It's a cozy dining room located on the first floor of the Rosa Alpina hotel, not at all grand, that made us feel like comfortable guests in the chef's home, and service was of course flawless. The chef's waste-nothing attitude toward cooking is interesting (though I admit I would rather not have known some of the details provided about the specific animal parts we were eating). Every course was superb. My only observation is that for us, there was simply too much food. We purposely chose the shorter of the two tasting menus and were still so overfull that we had to ask our servers not to bring the dessert courses. If only we could find more Michelin multi-star restaurants with à la carte rather than obligatory tasting menus, we would be happy. Still, St. Hubertus is wonderful and well deserving of its accolades.

The weather was bad, the place was just close, so we followed the reviews of other advisors. Well, fortunately tastes are different, but unfortunately we missed a great lunch elsewhere. Uncomfortable atmosphere, service friendly but beer arrived after the food and the food itself- nothing to talk about ...Dear wonderfulworld81 from Zurich, in your nickname there is a positive perspective that unfortunately is not reflected in your review about us and we are extremely sorry about this. In fact, in the mountains it can happen that there is a bad day in terms of weather and this obviously means that the atmosphere is not as beautiful as when the sun is shining and the sky is blue and when our guests have lunch on our Terrace overlooking the magnificent view of the Marmolada and Sassongher ....and Iâm not making excuses for âa hiccupâ that can happen while working like the one you described in your review: the beer did not arrive until after the food. However, maybe it would have simply been enough to point it out to the waiter who would have immediately apologized and made up for it.This, together with the food which was not to your liking, means that you harshly gave us a rating of âterribleâ. Mr. Wonderful, your review has really hurt us. It hurt me, my family and my staff, down to the wire after the winter season. A season that has been extremely rewarding, as you can see from the many other TripAdvisor reviews from which you disassociate yourself. But the world is âwonderfulâ and there is room for all tastes. At the Rifiugio I Tablà each day we strive to make our guests happy. If we did not manage to do this with you, once again, please accept my sincerest apologies. Come and see us again next winter and youâll see that we will change your mind about us. Greetings from the Dolomites Michaela and family

Our hotel recommended La Siriola and overall it was lovely, as any Michelin-starred establishment should be. The menu offered a surprise tasting menu, four theme menus named after tree species, and à la carte. In order to experience the chef's vision, both my husband and I chose one of the four-course tasting menus, the Birch, and the excellent wine pairings as well. Our superb servers graciously allowed us to exchange the listed dessert for one from a different menu that appealed to us more. We greatly enjoyed the amuses-bouches and the first three very creative courses of the dinner; however, neither of us cared for the main course, which was black cod with a sweet coating, so I ate about half of mine and my husband took perhaps one bite of his. To be fair, all of the servings were quite generous so we were both nearly full anyway by the time the main course arrived. The very talented young chef then appeared at our table to invite us to accompany him to the famed Chocolate Room, but first he questioned my husband as to why he had not eaten all of his meal. In an effort to be diplomatic, my husband replied that he was too full to finish. This exchange made us feel slightly awkward, as though we had offended the chef by not finishing his dishes. However, perhaps it is just the way he communicates, as he was perfectly civil during our time alone with him in the Chocolate Room (basically a private candy store open for you to select as much as you want). Other than these blips, the evening was very enjoyable. La Siriola is definitely not to be missed.

Stumbled upon this restaurant while walking, they accommodated us even though they were busy. Staff was warm, pleasant and attentive. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Food made with more attention and care than other restaurants in the area, with a bit of "farm to Table" vibe. Definitely a good choice
