I had read that Lido 84 had achieved a place in the worldâs top 100 restaurants before I booked so expectations were high. The restaurant also has a Michelin star. The service was as good as possible with waiters and commis chefs in abundance, and all passionate as well as speaking excellent English. The owner took a lot of time to explain the menus to us and when each course arrived the individual waiter again took time to explain things. We took the 6 course classical tasting menu at 80 euros. Each course was excellent and not too large. The exception was the sweets which kept appearing and were amazing. This restaurant well deserves its place in the top 100 and really should have at least a 2nd Michelin star. The other bonus is that the price, for what we had, was reasonable, mainly because the wines are fairly priced. We paid a total of 130 euros a head and donât begrudge it at all.

Al Cantinone is a real find, not on the busy lakeside frontage, it is found by walking a short way into the back streets of the town. This is where the locals prefer to dine, quietly enjoying its cool shaded outside seating beneath its vine covered frontage. The menu offers quite a few specials, choosing not to include many of the visitor favorites offered by the lakeside restaurants. Surprisingly good value, find it as its well worth a visit.

My husband and I came here for our last night of our holiday and thought the service and food were fabulous. We opted for a wine we are familiar with from local vineyard (Le Chiusure) and new dishes that we haven't tried. All were great and all recommended. Our favourite course was the 5 different raw and cooked fish dish. The views of the lake are unfortunately hindered by the boats docked right in front of the restaurant and from the people traffic walking past, however it is mostly peaceful and pleasant. Staff were great throughout the night topping up drinks and arranging for a taxi at the end of the evening. If we are back in the area again we will definitely come back.

Restaurant freshness of a modern, dynamic and innovative .. Tied to tradition but full of news. Family management in the absolute totality with Marco at the direction room and sommelier, Andrea chef and director of food and everything related to the suppl
This restaurant is Michelin standard. A wine bar with exquisite food and wines to match. Service was superb informative and colourful. This is a must for anyone visiting Salo and the surrounding area. The cheese board starter was an excellent advertisement for local produce. The main courses were masterful. Presented beautifully. Osso Buco was succulent with polenta. The pork was fabulous slow cooked to perfection. We shared a crepe brûlée with a duo of chocolate sponges with the chocolate oozing out of them. With a bottle of Vallentina Reserva with the main course we topped it off with two glasses of exceptional desert wine (Albi) It was great to be able to walk home to our villa if a little unsteady!

A romantic and relaxing location, where you can have lunch surrounded by the scent of citrus fruits, or dine under the moon light... Our menu offers dishes of meat or fish ... And if you have a little less time? You are even welcome for a rich breakfast o
We came here twice, neither time disappointed. Great staff, fabulous food. Fine dining without extortionate prices. Homemade breads and creamy butter. A muse bouche of mushroom and asparagus soup. Crispy asparagus topping. Divine starters of poached egg and mushrooms, creamy trout tartar, spaghetti and sardines or scollops. Main courses of cod special in a consommé really to write home about, chicken with olives, pork loin and fillet steak. Mouthwatering . We just love good food as you can tell . Always start by the way with a prosecco! Please go there the location is fantastic, if you like good food this is the restaurant for you! Dear Diane,a very special thank you for this amazing review! It is a precious moment of joy in this rainy Saturday afternoon.Hoping to have you here again, I wish you a pleasant Summer time.Best regards,Vanessa LombardiSales Dept.

The QB Duepuntozero, lake view version of QB Quanto Basta. Alberto Bertani, the chef, the hostess Irene, chef and former colleague for a winning team. It still points on the quality of the ingredients and the seasonality of raw materials as well as being
A delicious dinner with an enchanting view and great service. A restaurant with a good choice for each course. spaghettini with oysters is exceptionally tasty followed by croaker with a really unusually tasty cream of celeriac. This restaurant also offers an excellent choice of desserts and I would recommend the macaron. A very good choice for lunch or dinner.

We wanted a good, simple lunch after an active morning. La Locanda did itself proud. I had the lasagna which is perhaps the best I've ever tasted. Noodles as light as a feather. Delicious!

Creative cusine, well executed. Maybe lacks a few small touches to make the food outstanding. Location is beautiful. Fresh roses on the table create a very romantic atmosphere. Of particular interest are the San Zago specials listed at the back of the menu, in particular the deer is not to be missed!

Very friendly service at this modern styled restaurant, just one street back from the seafront, at the cathedral end of the old town. Staff were fun and friendly, food was well presented and tasty. Was accompanied by various little "treat" dishes between courses.

Okey all reviews where good and our expectations where high but everything was blown away to a higher level in hospitality and atmosphere!First we walked through the beautiful city of Salo. When we entered a romantic and quiet alley that was situated behind the busy and big restaurants the feeling of true italian atmosphere was created! We where kindly welcomed and seated outside on a romantic bistrò! The choice was simple, we wanted the big plate with all the lovely italian food! Wine was carefully selected due a long wine sample! All was lovely and we had a great evening for a good price! Thank you!â¤ï¸
