Again we followed the advice by Tripadvisor, and again we were not disappointed. A small, but very nice restaurant downtown Sainte-Maxime. Very professional and nice service given with a smile. Fantastic food for the four of us (two adults and two teenagers) and with reasonable prices. Weâll come back for sure.

Six of us ate at Le WYC on a cool April evening. The welcome was warm & our Waiter excellent. The restaurant employs what we would term more mature Waiters, who provide first class service & certainly made the whole experience very positive. The food was good - the Burger totally delicious - & the cost very reasonable. We much enjoyed our evening so thank you all!!

This is our second visit to Les Planches. We had dinner here in Sunday 19th August 2018. We had reserved a table and were shown to the exact same table (31) we had sat at in 2017. A pure coincidence and amusing. The greeting was just as friendly as we had remembered it and frankly everything was as before... perfect. The surroundings and view is first class. The presentation, quality and the taste of the food is 5 star. This is high class but relaxed. We shared a starter of whitebait and crudete (planche aperitif) â¬19.A main of Tartare de Boeuf â¬26 and half cooked Tuna â¬36 which was served with one of the best risotto I have ever, ever tasted. We drank a bottle of Marquets Rosé â¬29We finished with Lâassortiment Gourmand â¬16 and a Coupe Williams â¬16.Everything was perfect. We will definitely return.

At the top of the hill , immediately behind the church , you'll find Les Flambeux. Very small and quaint , our server ,Stephanie , spoke perfect English and was a delight . She knew of Sarasota , Florida as she had a friend there . We later found out , well to do Sarasotans own homes in St.MaximeThe restaurant is housed in a very old , possibly middle ages building of stone . Now this started to set the mood until the owner stood staring with her arms folded , like she was guarding something . Never once smiling and making you feel like she was doing us a favor , thank God for Stephanie and the wonderful food .I began with prawns in a lovely cream sauce which I cleaned from my bowl with their wonderful bread . My entree was a rack of lamb , four pieces , done on an old rotisserie that I wanted to take home with me . Lamb was fantastic .My wife had foie gras to begin then a lovely sea bass in a cream fish sauce . Very , very tasty.Wines were great as well as the expressosOverall a very good restaurant , food wise even though it was probably our most expensive dinner in St.Maxime- worth it though. It just would have been that much better if the Madam who owned it was a bit more cheerful.

The place to be at SAINTE MAXIME pour un apéritif dinatoire et plus si affinités ! Planches de jambons d'exception, tartines Poilâne à partager, tartares de boeuf ou de poissons et autres salades gourmandes vous attendent pour un moment de convivialité et
I probably didn't read the reviews properly but this is a wine bar with food based around about 6/7 key ingredients; differently served up. Salmon, taramasalata, pata negra, Serrano ham, foie gras. All excellent quality. Available as plates, sandwiches and salads. Good wine too. Pleasant service. Mostly French clientele.

We have wanted to return, hoping we would not be disappointed and definitely weren't,. The food again was superb, the service beyond reproach, the bill surprisingly reasonable for top quality food! The little things that made this place special:Great steaks - if you don't want XXL they will adjust size and reduce price accordingly, the food is cooked with love, attention to detail is amazing. The desserts were tempting, as they are an art firm in themselves! The chef takes the time to check that everything is as expected, such a nice touch in a busy world. You are felt to be important as you are to maintaining the high standards in food and service and the price unbelievably reasonable, yet again our number 1 favourite!Don't be put off by the location, the food is worth the lack of views!!!

We liked the pizza, but the other foods are average. The inside of the restaurant's atmosphere is nice, so as the service.

The place is superb, you have to expect to have your feet in the sand and your chairs unstable as their legs are also in the sand, at different depth levels ! The service is OKish and the food average. Nems for me, nothing special and a very hard meat that I could not eat. The crepe caramel are excellent.Mixed feeling about this place.Dear client, Thank you for your comment. We're really sorry that you didn't like the meat. For the chair into the sand we tried to create the same atmosphere like the old cabane bambou where almost everybody eat feet in the sand. It's always hard to satisfy everybody but we hope you will come again to change opinion about the food. Sincerely Cabane Bambou Staff
