Small boutique restaurant with innovative combinations at very reasonable prices.Tried escargots and mushrooms for the first time which was very nice. The foie gras was spot on. The steaks came with sauce tartare which I would expect with fish but this worked very well together. The wine list was adequate and very reasonably priced (â¬30 for a Graves).Super service and the dessert was innovative and very tasteful.Great restaurant.

Just near the castle of St Germain en Laye, in an original place, LE MANÃGE is a traditional restaurant of French cuisine. Everything is homemade. Privatized room for groups in the wine cellar, terrace in the shade with flowers. Open daily from Monday to
It took 45 minutes from arriving to drinks being served which was not a great start. Food was ok but could have been so much more with a bit of imagination. The foie gras was nice but the toast that came with it was bland and disappointing. The mango and star aniseed was a nice touch but less than a teaspoonful did not make up for the lack of nice bread accompanying this starter. The mushroom and Munster cheese was nice. The pork chops was overpowered by the Roquefort cheese and the lamb came with very bland mashed potatoes. The St. Emilion was far too cold. The creme brulee was missing vanilla all tigether. Staff running around like headless chicken was just an example of how disorganised this place is. Alot of potential but completely wasted.I'm sorry, I'm just a headless chicken, I can't really understand what you wrote... But if I were a human being, I would tell you that we never had pork chops with Roquefort at the menu.. Regarding the bread, it did probably not fit your tastes, but the "fleuryse" that we get delivered from an artisan baker, is typical from our region and known for being really crispy.About the wine, our wine is stored in a stone cellar, that you would be welcome to visit anytime... I'm so sorry for the wrong tempature, telling us would have helped....in short, cock-a-doodle doo ;) Signé Le Coq Français.

Traditional French classy food. Very good quality and tasty Coeur de Filet de Boef with the original sauce Bearnaise. Location and premises with historic feel. A bit worn down, but still very much worth the visit for the food and the view. Friendly staff. Worth to arrive an hour earlier for a stroll through the very cosy village.Dear guest,We thank you very much for sharing your experience with us.We are very happy to read that you've been enjoying your meal in our restaurant! We hope to welcome you again in our property very soon.Kind regardsAGrimald

We stayed a stones throw away from this restaurant, it was pouring with rain, so we decided to try this little restaurant. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the food and wine delicious. There was a good, buzzing atmosphere as the restaurant filled up.

A group of friends choose this restaurant for dinner. I am Portuguese and was curious to try. Service is very friendly, the restaurant is small so there is only one person attending all the tables. We had main meals. Everyone was very happy with their dishes. I had the octopus which was very tasty. The food was good, Portuguese inspired but elevated, not like most Portuguese restaurant which serve moreSimple dishes. I thought the price for the octopus was high at 29eur. Other dishes are more reasonable though. We also had an excellent wine and again the price tag at 40 eur for a Portuguese wine even if lovely as a little high I thought. But overall enjoyable experience and a change to see Portuguese food with a refined twist.

We were very curious to try this new restaurant, opened by the Prime Minister's ex-chef, together with our son who is a fine gourmet. The very austere decoration of bare grey and white walls created a very cold atmosphere. The service was very friendly and helpful. The dishes we tried (potimarron, chanterelles & salade de homard, followed by cochon iberique, homard and agneau dishes) were quite good but "sans plus", i.e. without that little extra that makes them memorable. We expected more. The Crozes-Hermitage wine was very reasonably priced. As we were finishing, the chef came out of his kitchen and wished us "bonsoir" and went on to sit by himself at the entrance without asking us any question. We were surprised by his lack of curiosity, given he is the new chef in our town. In the end we never felt welcome and left disappointed.Good morning sir,We feel disappointed if you had not appreciated enough your evening. The restaurant is voluntarily an uncluttered interior but nevertheless welcoming. We tried to do our best with each guest, but we can admit one's mistakes. We hope to see you to try once again our menu, the chef will be more attentive to exchange with you.Thank you,Christophe Langrée.

Friendly staff and nice interior. Lovely deserts, the main course, pork filet mignon and mashed potatoes was good but a little bit bland and not very filling. The place was busy so I'd go back and try it again, maybe I just made the wrong choice on the main course.

Place is small, nice decoration, extravagant in some ways, food was good but our dishes ver uncomfortable to eat due to the plates we got, way too expensive and they give an arrogant impression

A perfect evening, with truly great food, a very warm wecome and impeccable service. Every facet of the meal was of the highest quality, from the delicious ingredients to the sophisticated combination of flavors to the beautiful presentation, including 1/2 bottle of wine per person that perfectly complemented the food. Every mouthful of all three courses was memorable. This wonderful restaurant is worth a special trip.
