Perched over the Doubs river and lost in a forest, Le Theusseret does not lack atmosphere. Lunch was pleasant, although somewhat frustrating. The mushroom stroganoff on toast could have been so much better if the fantastic stroganoff was on a nice, thick, crunchy, toasted slice of fresh cut crusty bread instead of a soggy, minuscule quarter of a slice of regular white loaf. The frog's legs were copious and perfectly cooked, but why with chives instead of parsley, and why dried chives instead of fresh, and while I'm at it, just too much butter. Such a shame, there is so much potential! Otherwise the restaurant is clean and has a nice charm about it, but the service a little lost and somewhat slow. After lunch go for a wander on the pedestrian track along the river - it's quite beautiful. And don't get concerned on the way there, the restaurant is at the end of a long dirt road (around 5 km or 3 miles)... just keep driving straight on, it's right at the end, you can't miss it!

Auch unter der neuen Leitung gibt es feine Käsefondues und für Fonduemuffel den Jambon à l'os mit Frites. Und die ganz gute Nachricht: es gibt auch wieder den "eigenen Weissen", den "Rouges Terres" - ganz fein!So gilt noch immer: freundlicher Empfang, schöne Ambiance und gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.Ein idealer Wanderausflug für Feriengäste in Montfaucon.

Wir besuchten dieses Restaurant per Zufall, um das Mittagessen einzunehmen. Es ist ein einfaches, gemütliches Restaurant auf dem Lande. Wir bestellten Steak de Cheval mit Gemüse. Leider war das Fleisch äusserst zäh. Dieses Fleisch konnte auch mit vielen Kaubewegungen kaum zu sich genommen werden. Meine Partnerin liess deshalb mehr als die Hälfte des Fleisches stehen. Auf die Frage, ob uns das Essen geschmeckt habe, antworteten wir mit nein. Das Bedienungspersonl zeigte für unsere Bemerkung keine Regung. Es wurde uns auch nicht ein Preisnachlass oder irgend etwas offeriert. Wir waren nicht die einzigen, die mit dem Essen nicht zufrieden waren. Eine Frau bestellte croute forestière aux morilles. Leider war keine einzige Morchel im Essen zu finden. Auch diese Frau bekundete ihr Missfallen und verlangte den Chef. Der kam an den Tisch und belehrte die Frau, dass in diesem Essen nicht unbedingt Morcheln sein müssen. Es war für ihn unverständlich, dass sich die Frau beschwerte. Es sieht so aus, dass in diesem Restaurant nur mit billigen Lebensmitteln gearbeitet wird. Die Preise sind jedoch nicht dementsprechend. Auch beim Wein wird günstiger, nicht schlechter Wein mit einem Faktor grösser als 5 verkauft. Ich kann nur empfehlen, dieses Restaurant zu meiden.

We spent a night in the Hotel du Soleil. The room was big, quiet, comfortable and well heated. Everything was clean, the bed comfortable. This is a simple hotel. The only real downside is that the furniture is old-fashioned; don't expect any "woaw" effect.If you are in the region in autumn, make sure you book a table (in advance) at the restaurant to eat their "chasse": it's by far the best in Switzerland!

The menu unfortunately doesn't match with this rustic friendly place anymore: Fancy (and ethically questionable) stuff such as stuffed goose liver and lots of meat/fish without even mentioning the vegetables or herbs used in a dish. Unfortunately there are no simple dishes such as choucroute with potatoes, polenta with ratatouille/leeks/red cabbage or vegetable platter at all on the menu.On positive note we appreciated the fact, that the kitchen took criticism from customers (to properly cook animal meat or modify a certain dish) seriously and tried to adapt to it. The serving staff was attentive and friendly.

Because it was raining quite badly, we did not want to cycle.too far from the campingsite. This was the closest place for food. We were a bit hesitant, because it was located inside the sports centre, overlooking the ice skate ring. However, the food was absolutely delicious and the waiter was very friendly and helpfull. We shared a salad with local chees and meat, then a steak each. Cooking of the steak was just as we required. Excellent, we have bad experience with this in other resaurants. We think the cheese fondue is also worth trying, we saw it at another table and it smelled great!

Friendly lively restaurant in the center of town. We chose the vegetable platter with fries and couldn't believe our luck when served a beautifully assembled dish with lots of nicely steamed vegetables, such as carrots, string beans, eggplants, but also stuffed courgettes, a creamy purée of green veggies and a generous number of steamed cherry tomatoes. The fries were nice too. Considering the variety of different vegetables on the plate, the speed of preparation and serving was impressive.

We walked around this beautiful lake and found this restaurant next to the main road with plenty of parking spaces accross the road. It is cosy inside and has a large fire place for the cold season. It took a while for the food to be served but it was good food for such a remote area. They also showed some flexibility when we only wanted part of the days special menue. Prices were Ok for what was served. We can recommend it.Vielen Dank für die nette Bewertung! Da wir frisch und à la minute kochen, kann es ab und zu leider zu Wartezeiten kommen. Wir geben uns aber Mühe diese so kurz wie möglich zu halten und beeilen uns vor allem die Tagesmenus zügig zu servieren. Wir würden uns auf jeden Fall freuen Sie wieder bei uns begrüssen zu dürfen!

We arrived spontaneously, underdressed yet looking for an elaborate meal. As usual with top gourmet dining, all details are distinctive. Most memorable dishes: the foie gras variations (soup, fried cube and - yes - ice cream), the green grissini, the strawberry soufflé.We really liked that they sell some of their produce to take home. I will pick up some of their delicacies.Both the chef and the hostess came to the table twice, much appreciated.

Thanks to the positive reviews hereunder I stopped at Bellevue for dinner. Do not misunderstand or be put off by the bright red colour on the front of the house! Once inside, the dining room and the terrace are perfectly decent and welcoming!Huge thumbs-up to the staff, who is Bellevueâs greatest asset: smiling, attentive and very efficient. Much appreciated. The food is as great as the staff. For most of the dishes you may choose between small size (for normal hunger) and large size (if you are starving - the portion is gargantuesque!). As starter I chose the bruschetta, which proved very tasty: three generous bread slices were laid on a generous portion of salad. As main course I had a plate of âpâtes Jurasienneâ: almost similar to pasta Carbonara, except for the Tête de Moine cheese. Pasta are homemade. As dessert the homemade tiramisu tasted quite good. For a pizzeria, prices are rather on the upper level - the bill amounted to CHF65. But the great food and staff are well worth it.
