We have been before and we’re impressed by the clear recognition that some diners want gluten free dishes. Great atmosphere, excellent choices on the menu and reasonably priced. Portions generous, staff delightful. Of course we will be back.

This restaurant remains our favourite in Saas Fee. Been many times over several years skiing. Excellent menu with Swiss and other dishes, decent gluten free choices, sensibly priced (by local standards) wine list and a great atmosphere. Interestingly, despite its very central location, most of the diners seem to be locals and Swiss, rather than international tourists and that alone tells its own tale. We love it and have booked a second time in a week.

Warm vibe, traditional Swiss offerings. I had the grilled lamb chops and they were superb. The restaurant was packed and yet the service was attentive and personable. I can definitely recommend it to other travelers.

Came up on the 2 chair lifts from Saas Almagell.Day was a bit rainy but the scenery was breathtaking.Cafe at the top of the chair lift was great and the owners were very friendly and helpful.Beware of the chair lift lunch break!!! 1.5 hours from 12:15 to 13:45.We were caught out and spent 1.5 hours at the cafe waiting. However, the cafe owners were great and offered us free coffee whilst we waited. Something you would not expect in the uk! We were even offered a blanket for the chair lift trip back down as it was raining.Great place and you should make the effort to go.

You have to take a little hike into the forest to find your way to this lovely restaurant. One of those chalets that is dripping with charm and fits your idea of what a Swiss mountain restaurant should look like. Meal was great - pricing reasonable but portions quite large so we were actually glad to have to walk it off afterwards. Excellent selection of wines - always go for the local wines. Gets busy so budget for a bit of extra time. The little animal section is super cute for small kids and afterwards walk down and around to spot the alpacas and camel.

Had dinner several times during our 2 weeks holidays. Interior, friendliness and quality of food was simply EXCELLENT! The place to be in Saas-Grund :-) Also very dog-friendly which was a bonus as we brought 2 dogs. Highly recommendable! We will surely gladly return on our next holiday in Saas-Tal :-)

A cozy little restaurant, family owned and run, this place is not one which you would regret! Great pizzas, delicious pastas...the food was freshly made and it is clear the people running the place have a passion for food given the fresh ingredients they use. A good evening spent here, and one I would recommend.

We ate here twice this holiday and were served delicious food in a warm friendly atmosphere. The chef comes round to check that all is well which is a nice touch. If you come at the weekend book in advance because this restaurant is popular with holiday guests and locals.
