Located above the Ardeche river with spectacular views.Went with family for evening meal sitting outside on the veranda. The menu is local Ardechois but fairly simple. Portions very generous.Highlight was double cooked chips and cafe gourmand which was good coffee with a selection of 3 desserts.

The view from the terrace over the Ardeche river is lovely. Service is friendly if a little slow. Our meal was marred by noisy children screeching around near our table! Goat's cheese salad OK as was salmon with lovely Gratin Dauphinoise. We asked for chips but they wouldn't let us have them - I still don't really understand why not!

Having several coffees here we decided to visit for evening meal. Smallish but covered open terrace style. No reservations but staff suggested arrive by 1845, there were nine of us, and no problem getting a table. Later people were queuing to wait for a table. Quite extensive menu, very friendly staff, food very good, definitely recommended

My wife and I stopped in Ruoms at lunchtime today, looking for a quaint bistro to get a light meal. Tradition & Co is a pretty building situated just off the High Street with a very pleasant terrace. The menu looked appealing - especially the lunchtime specials.We had homemade terrine as a starter with fig chutney, followed by seared salmon with fried potato cake and garden vegetables, finishing off with fromage blanc and a strawberry coulis. All of it was well cooked and the presentation was appetising. Everything tasted great.Next time we visit Ruoms there is every chance that we will stop again. Thanks to Bernadette and the team @ Tradition & Cothank you very much for your nice congrulations Richard; it was a pleasure to meet you and your wife, your are welcome in Tradition & Co , anytime "without wind"";

First of all: don't forget to reserve! The place has little place inside and if it's too cold sitting outside is not an option.I felt really good dining here: the food is local and traditional (and very good!), the staff really very nice and the overall atmosphere cosy.Try the aperitifis, and the excellent wine, and keep some place for the dessert.

The food was correct. I ordered the trout that was said to be local on the menu. We got salmon trout that can not be local as it is not found in the region. The decor is not very nice much better places in the area.bonjour merci pour votre commentaire , je tenez juste a vous précisez que vous pouvez très bien trouvez de la truite saumonée en Ardèche . il aurait était préférable de mieux vous renseigner avant de mètre votre avis sur le site .

Our night at the L'Atelier was just perfect! As a start we ordered few home brewed beers which were excellent (ambree). The waitress was friendly and professional, spoke good English and helped us with the dishes and the wine selection. We ordered starters, mains (meat and veg) and dessert+coffee which were all fresh, exciting and tasty. The ambiance was relaxed, the interior is fun modern industrial, there is enough space between the tables (which is difficult to find in France). Perfect place for a relaxed meal for reasonable prices with friends and family!

Best place in town. Perfect cocktails (caipirinha, sex on the beach). During afterwork a free delicious tapa dish was presented with the cocktails. Main dish âfilet de boeufâ, an enormous piece of meat to share. Perfectly backed on the grill. Fresh fries, vegetables. A nespresso coffee to complete this perfect meal.

The restaurant in the Rose Garden of Pommiers is 200 from the center of Ruoms in a quiet farming area, on a terrace on stilts to 1.8 m above the ground, 180 m2 open, with views over the village of Ruoms, the rock Sampzon and rose garden of one hectare wit
Monday or Tuesday 19th of September, 8 PM. Their website, tripadvisor and the sign at their metal gate said they were open. We saw no lights, no other signs, ... Disappointment.
