Bar La Feria is listed twice on Tripadvisor: once as a restaurant and once as a bar / attraction / nightlife. It is actually all that, although the evening entertainment, flamenco shows, were not on until after we left. They only have the shows in peak season apparently. They were refurbishing the function room when we were there. The waitress showed me the work in progress. I hope to come back when it's done. The restaurant is lovely: good fresh Spanish food, local dishes, fish, meat, paella, tapas and much more.... all at friendly prices. Served with a smile by a very friendly waitress. Who doesn't really speak English, but she will try anything to explain the dishes and make you feel at home. altogether we loved Bar La Feria and we will be back as soon as we get to Rota again.

Every time we asked for food recommendations, this place was always mentioned with highest praise. This definitely passed our expectations. The staff there are extremely nice and accommodating. Sangria - delicious! (I like it sweet though) The ox tenderloin was a top suggestion so we decided to sample this along with the mixed grill platter. We chose to order the ox tenderloin that was accompanied with the black pepper sauce (#65). The ox was so tender that it practically melted in your mouth. The sauce went well with it and did not overpower the meat. The mixed meat platter is meant for 2 people but we felt like it could be shared between 3-4, depending on what else is being ordered. Great mixture of chicken, beef, pork and sausage. olives and a fried potato dish were complimentary. I really enjoyed the garlic cream dip that went with the potatoes. House made bread is also brought out and tastes so good with the oil and vinegar. It is a big place and have lots of seating. We went here during winter months so I imagine that it may have lots of foot traffic during the summer. It is located off the beaten path but trust that your first visit definitely won't be your last.

If you want to do Italian in Spain, this is the place. Everything they do is fresh and the flavors absolutely explode in your mouth. We had a Caprice Salad with incredible Bufalo Mozzarella. Homemade Gnocchi Bolognese, and a wonderful Seafood Spaghetti. The Tiramisu was the best ever.

The delight of gazing at the sea while enjoying a perfect gastronomic combination that fuses the traditional and the innovative through typical tapas and spectacularly presented dishes. Sitting on the very edge of the sea, let us make you feel special and
Yet another location, location, location -- and that's really it. What a sad dining experience oddly coupled with super friendly service and a few glasses of an excellent Riojas. Two stars for:- stale bread basket- over cooked pasta- generic bolognese- sour burrata (and ya'll know how much I love me some burrata!!)Based on this experience, we will not even give the other restaurants there a shot. Hoping that the Duque offerings are much better because that's on our restaurant bucket list as well. Conclusion: come enjoy a glass of wine here and watch the tide go out. Go elsewhere for dinner.Dear Client,Thank you for your comments. It help us to work better each day. We have a very nice restaurant, nice views and a very good fish menu.Best regards,Sophie

I read a really good review from an Italian guy and because of that I expected more and ended up a little bit dissapointed. The pizza and pasta were good but nothing to brag off.. I really liked the terrace though, very calm and fresh, the music a little bit too loud for my girlfriend, honestly i Didnt notice. The girl attending was very nice and polite. Mucha gracias por su opinión ,

I was hesitant to try this place since everyone I knew didn't have good things to say. When my friend decided to have her birthday dinner here, I figured this would be a great opportunity to test it out for myself. it is right in the heart of downtown rota. Enjoy your lunch or dinner with beautiful views along the beach. We were a big party of 14 but they had no problems accommodating us. The service was excellent and they were able to keep up with our group as well as another big group that was seated next to our party. Food came out in good timing which surprised a lot of us. I can only vouch for my entree and it was amazing. I ordered the salmon in a puff pastry with creamy dill sauce. A very simple dish but packed with so much flavor. The dish comes with 4 pastry puffs and it is very filling. A majority of the group was a first timer here and it looked like they all enjoyed their orders. As i was eyeing everyone's dishes, they all looked good and makes me want to return again to bring my foodie partner here.

This is a higher end chiringuito in Rota. The staff is friendly, the service was excellent, and the food was amazing. The views are beautiful and the decor is elevated, yet beachy. The entire meal was an experience. We went at about 2:00PM, and stayed until 4:00PM. We were not rushed, all of our courses came in a timely manor, and the special drink, on the house, provided at the end was delicious!

Our El Embarcadero restaurant-bar is integrated into the Hotel Duque de Nájera in the historic centre of Rota right at the end of the La Costilla beach boulevard, next to the Astaroth fishing port and dock. It is a magnificent place to taste one of the be
Lovely place but the food for me anyway seemed too fancy or trying to be. I ordered the crab croquettes to start an tuna tartar for main - pics attached (see what you think) and they were ok, not super tasty or filling which I expected they would have been (tasty I mean) so I was a little disappointed. I think my money was better spent elsewhere but the place looked great. Dear Client,Thank you for your comments. We look forward to welcome you back so you can taste more dishes and see that we have all kind of food.Best regards,Sophie De Clerck
Where to eat Mediterranean food in Rota: The Best Restaurants and Bars

La Dolce Vita is a small Italian trattoria, located in the old town of Rota a few meters from the marina. It has a great team, a good selection of Italian wines, pastas and homemade desserts in a cozy place.
We are a family of four, looking for adventures and food! This night, we went out to La Dolce Vita, which is a quaint little restaurant by the beach. The waitress was extremely sweet and she was happy to tell us about where each breathtaking dish was from in Italy. We got to the restaurant at about seven forty five, which is early for Spain. But because we got there early we got an amazing table by the window. Each little menu was a different color and had a different design so it was more exciting to order food. We highly recommend the lasagna, because it has a magnificent flavor. Also, the spaghetti was delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was quite adorable and clean, with wood floors and red and white checked tablecloths. All the waiters and waitresses were helpful and kind and answered any questions we had. The people who own the restaurant are from Italy so they are very willing to give any information about Italy and its foods. If you want to enjoy a delicious dinner, go here. Bon Appetite!
