Paule et Denis vous accueillent au coeur d'Avignon pour vous proposer une restauration rapide, de qualité, à base de produits locaux. Notre service restauration est de 12h00 à 14h00 ( hors période estivale ).
We enjoy traveling in France and visit often. Weâre usually treated as ugly Americans and receive poor rude, even hostile service. Vive la France. Avignon was on my bucket list and well worth a visit to the Papal museums. We stopped here for lunch first due to its proximity to the papal museums and the high ratings on trip advisor. The waitress was lovely and attentive. The owners were over the top in terms of satisfying customers in every way. Bravo Paulâs. France needs more persons treating clients properly like you. The food is delicious and fresh. Great salads large enough for 2 to share. This place is a gem. I would eat here regularly if we could.

We were recommended of this place for dinner from our host, who also suggested us to book. But we did not, instead we went there early around 6.30 pm as we found in the TripAdvisor that this place opens earlier than others. The place looked pretty, small and very welcomed. We were the first guests, the lady speaks both English and French. She is very nice, polite and explained the foods so well. We had a very lovely evening and perfect meals, would love to come back if have a chance. Not long, the restaurant was full. We were so lucky to find this gem.

This is a wonderful little restaurant that my wife and I dined at one lunch while visiting the city of Villeneuve les Avignon. Great food, wonderful staff staffstaff, stafffriendly
We had an absolutely lovely evening here. The gentleman who greeted us and served us was so cheerful and so kind, genuinely concerned that we had an all round fine experience, which we did. Our entrees and plats were all so tasty, especially the roast pork. The ambience is warm and the tables near the windows offer great people watching. Prices for food and wine are quite reasonable and it seems to be open longer hours than other places on this square.

We found this restaurant while wandering around the village, and decided to try it primarily because of its emphasis on local ingredients. The menu changes daily and included a number of savory choices. We had scallops on risotto made with Faro. Delicious! We also enjoyed our starter, shrimp with avocados. For desert we and almost all the diners at the other tables had strawberries stacked with a special cream and wafer. It was an architectural wonder as well as being so tasty. (The local strawberries were at the height of the season.)The restaurant is small yet has enough space between tables provide privacy. The only disappointment was that the weather was too cold to eat outdoors. The restaurant has a lovely patio and garden.

Restaurant full of charm,cosy.
Sometimes TripAdvisor needs that 6th star. This place deserves it. The Michelin sign sure helps. We stopped here for lunch on a Monday. No reservation we arrived close to noon (open 12-2 for lunch) and got a nice table. The place is small, very simple, clean but very contemporary decor. We each chose the lunch special: main with dessert for 20â¬. You can order from the menu but we thought, letâs make it simple. I had the cod over tomato creamed polenta while she chose pork over peas, green beans, and chorizo. Both were heavenly! The dessert of the day was fresh figs, slices of orange and grapefruit over mascarpone with orange sauce and a scoop of lemon ice. There are no words to describe this dessert. Sublime. Our servers were very good and the mood is very pleasant, not stuffy. We chilled, they treated us to amazing food. How can you not enjoy life in Avignon!

I keep track of my top 5 restaurants I have visited world wide. 12 years in the making. From Marmalade in Puerto Rico to Sensi in Barcelona. But itâs been years since I have had a chance to announce a new favorite. La cuisine du Dimanche. Wow. Husband and wife buy this restaurant from the prior owners nearly 4 years ago. The prior owners would only sell to this couple that would continue the tradition. And they have done so and moreGreat wine list. Great service. (My wife orders the seasonal vegetables as her entree only to find out they were beets. They quickly changed it out to a fabulous purée of carrots and grilled vegetables. It was crazy good.). The risotto was amazing as was the duck. Everything was truly crazy good which puts it now in my top 5 world wide. DO yourself a favor. Dine here!Merci d'avoir pris le temps de vous arrêter chez nous et de partager votre avis. Au plaisir de vous servirPauline et Mathieu

We ate here twice and the food both nights was excellent and very well presented. This is somewhere well worth going. Small menu which is always a good sign of quality. Service excellent and considering it is of the main street very busy little place.

The place is nice. Very nice. Don't count on having dinner on the terrace and to see the sunset, because the Mistral wants you to eat inside. But inside is also a nice and warm place. And remember, you are not here to spend some quality time, but to eat! Fortunately, the menu is very simple and you don't have too much to choose. It depends on your budget. I tried the basic menu - "Vigne et garrigue" and it was really delicious. The place has also a hotel, which is a very good "basecamp" for Provence vineyards discovery...

Probably, the title is overrated. Not because the foie-gras at Physalis is not good (it is very good!), but for sure there are other plces in Provence where you cand eat delicious foie-gras.But, for a very small restaurnat in Tavel, a family business, the achievement is great.I also recommend the guineea fowl breast with honey and, for dessert, vanilla and raspberry vacherin. Please avoid yhe panna cotta, which is an accident in a very well balanced menu. And, for sure, don't hesitate to try the famous Tavel rose wine, cause here is the place where rose wine was invented!

Between Romanic and Roman Provence, ideally situated between Orange and Avignon, the Auberge de Tavel, proposes a charming hotel and restaurant in the heart of a small village of the Gard county very well known for its rosé wine. The former village school
We had lunch at the Auberge de Tavel with another couple. It was our first time and choose it after reading the review on TA. The food is delicious with many munchies coming along the meal. The wine is list is based on local wines (Tavel, Lirac, Laudun, Chateauneuf du Pape etc.)My wife had the escargot appetizer and the presentation was fantastic. My fish stew was beautiful tasty and served with some "Rouille"I recommend this restaurant to anybody who decide to leave the main road.Prices are on the upper level but still very reasonable. You can count 40 to 45 euros per person including wine coffee dessert wine and before dinner drinks.Last but not least our waitress was on top of her game and provided an excellent service.
