This has been the best restaurant in this little village for many years. Nice food both traditional ("olla pallaresa" tipycal soup or "civet" which is a wild pig stew) or more sophisticated (such as the salmon salad or the duck's four). Also some nice homemade desserts. Nice and professional staff. Well worth the price.

Hello! burgerplatz is a small and charming restaurant dedicated to burgers. We opened in late March 2015, and we are located at the entrance of the town of Espot, in the Pyrenees of Lleida. Our flagship products are burgers and fries, but we also have hot

Must on your visit to Sobira pallars, Located at the entrance of the suspension bridge (and the few that remain) direction on the old road to the shrine of Our Lady of Arbolo. ,, Idyllic location excellent food and good value for money. With a wood stove,
Lovely unique restaurant situated just outside of Sort. Friendly and good service with excellent value. They provide a free starter which is a local dish. However ask how to eat it because the first time we went there we got it totally wrong. I had the chicken which was cooked in a smoked oven. Very tasty but each main course does not come with any sides so please order those separately.

Restaurant with rooms in a small village just outside the montain resort of Sort in the Spanish Pyrenees
Went here with a group of 33, the seating was not ideal being in two groupings, but the food was very enjoyable.A set price as well as a la carte menu is available. The duck was very good. Please note, this restaurant is not in Sort village centre, you will probably need to Cab to it.
Pallars Extrem Food is a Food Truck born in the mountains of Pallars Sobira representing good food and good work from the country site. Opened on Summer season.
I don´t live in Sort, however every time I decide to go up, I go visit Raquel and Jaume at their food truck, they have an amazing variety of burgers and homemade desserts. The ambience is great, with a little terrace made of pallets and a park right next door, so kids can play. If you are around the area this place is a"must". I recommend it 100% for sure!

This was one of the only restaurants open after our white-water rafting trip, so we were starving and it was an awkward time, 3:30- so most places were closing for siesta. If you are travelling on a budget and looking to get some great value, this is a great place for you. I think a 3 course meal including a glass of wine or beer would run you about 15 Euro. For me, I didn't really want a ton of food. Their grilled meats are good, the rest just OK. I was disappointed because I would have liked a skirt steak or something, but the only beef they had was veal. And I don't do baby cows. I did order the chicken and it was good. It was just that we were already pretty full from the huge amounts of sausage, ham, and cheese they brought out first course. They have a pre- fixed menu, and I think they really didn't want us to order a la carte. There was way too much food and you can not have your left-overs boxed. The servers were nice, and some spoke English. It seemed like this is where locals come if they want a big meal, and lots of tourists come because its next to their hotel.

Sort on a Tuesday evening, day after a bank holiday, lots of places closed. This place was open and busy with locals and tourists alike.Sort is gearing up for the world kayak slalom championship.Service was slow. Too many guests arriving unexpectedly. We had a 9% alcohol stout. Great chocolate overtones. For food we had fried in Roquefort sauce, mushroom rice, bacon pizza and an egg, tomato and black pudding dish. All good.Value was great, with most dishes around 7 euros. Thanks for your opinion! I hope to see you soon in Escalarre Rock Cafe to enjoy our dishes again. SALUT i FORÃA!

Had tapas here and the patatas bravado was amazing, the blond haired waiter was also incredibly helpful, helping us with the menu

On the recommendation of friends who live in the region, we made the short drive from Sort to Llessui taking-in the picture postcard villages of Altron, Sorre and Saurà on the way. After a visit to the Ecomuseu dels Pastors - more interesting than the idea of a musuem dedicated to shepherds might initially suggest - we arrived for our pre-booked lunch at 2pm. The restaurant is not small but gets pretty busy, so booking ahead is not a bad idea.Catalan food is pretty hearty and filling at the best of times and the further away from the coast you go, the meatier and heartier it seems to get. The owners of Casa Kiko are butchers as well as restauranteurs and told us that they prepare all the meat on the menu in-house.The results are amazing. To start, we shared a platter of cold cuts and cheese. No faffing around with pre-prepared slices, you get a chopping board and knife and are welcome to cut off as much formatge, secallona, llonganissa and bull blanc as you like. They bill you based on what's left - and expect you to tell them when you're done, no rush. With the unlimited bread, pate and alioli de cordony on the side, it's easy to leave nothing at all, but the best is yet to come. The main course offers a raft of locally sourced meats, we had cabrit and pollà - and aubergines stuffed with meat and wild mushrooms; all delicious. The easy-going, no hurry atmosphere gave us time to digest just enough meat product to create space for the wonderful home made puddings - top prize went to the house special baked alaska with home made ice cream flambeed with whiskey.Service was friendly and informative - the menu needed a bit of explaining - and the surroundings are homely and comfortable.Excellent value for money, we paid around 35 euros a head, wine included. And didn't feel the need to eat another thing until breakfast the next day!

We are so glad that we found this place. They make great pizza with different toppings. We had two dinners in this restaurant. Each time we ordered different pizzas and dishes. All their pizzas were really good with thin crust and the right amount of cheese and toppings. We also tried their goat cheese salad which was good, the vegetarian lasagna (great) and the canaloni (not as good as the pizza). Very good and welcoming stuff. Menus in few languages, but don't worry, it's not a tourist trap.
