This restaurant was a great end to a long dray of traveling. The food was delicious and plentiful. Aside from a wonderful meal, the wait staff was courteous and pleasant. I recommend this restaurant to anyone staying at the hotel, it's a good location for a delicious quiet meal. The only thing I wish is that it was open over the weekend.

We stayed in the hotel next door - as there were a few tables taken in this restaurant we decided to try it. Lovely decor. Very friendly. Food a la carte is excellent although very good value if you can find a starter and main course you like on the set menu. Would come back ;)

I went with 5 relatives and two foreigh friends for lunch on October 11th. Our table was located in the glass extension from where we had a nice view of the garden. The menu looked appealing but the cook disappointed us. The carré d'agneau was made of three small lamb chops, the perdreaux were not boned and so a trifle difficult to eat and were served with....french fries. Desserts were ok. There was aretty long wait (about 40 mn between appetizers and main course) and a few tables with fewer guests who had arrived after us eere served before us. The management apologized arguing that one waiter was sick and a cook was missing. One thing I need to mention here is the condition of the washrooms: dirty and smelly, not at all what one would expect in a place like this. It is a shame. Unfortunately, toilets in France, despite some laudable progress, still leave very much to be desired.

Dans un établissement de caractère venez découvrir au coeur de Rambouillet un cuisine raffinée de la mer ainsi que de nombreux vins et champagnes.
This is the only restaurant in France which serves escargots without utensils (especially the needed pincher to hold the escargot). We both burned our finders trying to eat them. The chef has decided that we should eat them without the pinchers. My husband was furious and they were impossible to eat. Bring Americans here and they would sue the restaurant. Also he has downgraded the pastis, the favorite aperitif of the French in summer. The place is very pretty but the chef should be replaced.

Four of us had just flown into Paris from the US and were meeting my college roommate from London for dinner. She and her husband had checked out Le Villa Marinette in tiny Gazeran the night before, and found it good enough to return the next night. We were early (7:30PM) and the restaurant was nicely quiet. The table for 6 was perfect for conversing, and the dinner was so good, we never noticed the room filling up as the evening went on. We were brought complimentary Kir as we started along, with a lovely plate of mixed hor d'oeuvres - also complimentary. Some of us had excellent fish, served with fresh, seasonal asparagus, some beef, some veal...every selection was beautifully presented and perfectly prepared. The menu changes seasonally. We saved room for dessert, and the complimentary little sweets, and enjoyed each selection. If we were staying longer, we would return! Perfect service, food, ambiance, and appropriate cost. So much nicer than a crowded Paris restaurant!

Located just off the main street, this small place offers a good selection of products, homemade and from the Southwest of France.Nice charcuterie, saucisson and paté, good selection of cheese, goat, ewe and cow of course, a particular mark for their St Nectaire and the fourme d'ambert.A few good wines by the glass, and bottles are available too, from different French regions.Generous 'cafe gourmand', but the cafe itself was of poor quality.Service can be a bit slow as soon as the room fills up, but it is okay on the whole. There is also a terrace, offering protection vs the rain.Reasonable price at around 20â¬pp, wine included.

Delicious pizzas with fresh ingredients and on top of that an excellent service. The only down side, the noise from the street is a bit annoying on a week day if you are sitting outside.Overall, a great experience and totally recommendable.

Bistrot Gourmand
The answer is yes and yes again. Good honest food made with quality ingredients, in particular Tuna, Foie Gras, Haddock en cocotte and market fish, along with some decent wines. we ate there twice over the weekend as the informal atmosphere was so welcoming. The two lads at front of house were efficient and welcoming working like beavers to ensure satisfaction; naturally they complemented the kitchen staff who did some lovely cooking. Be sure to get a reservation as it gets busy, more importantly be sure to go and enjoy this restaurant.

Went there on our last night in France. The food is good and well presented. The service is really nice as well. However, the dishes are what we call safe: nothing out of the ordinary, it's a pity because they have the potential.

A warm and personable welcome. The director was a butcher and he is proud to select the best meats from worldwide and the right cuts. Everything is homemade fries, sauces, salads, deserts except ice creams. If you like meat and look for a nice food experience go to this place. There is a patio backward. Good for all events.
