Reviews on European food in Province of Granada, Andalucia, Spain. There’s an Arabic inscription that captures the essence of Granada in a few words: “There is nothing so sad as to be blind in Granada.” The perspicacity of this declaration becomes obvious as soon as you penetrate the austere walls of the Alhambra and take in the full majesty of the architecture, carvings and fountains of the Nasrid palaces. Your ticket (which should be bought well in advance following the instructions on the attraction’s website) also affords entry to the Renaissance Palace of Carlos V and to the exquisite gardens of the Generalife. If you are celebrating a special event, or are in the market for a splurge, you can stay in the lovely Parador, right on site. Make your way down into the city via the atmospheric old quarter of the Albaicin, with its tiny craft shops and restaurants, and head for the Cathedral and Royal Chapel. Also plan a visit to the crypt for the tombs of Ferdinand and Isabella, the instigators of Spain’s imperial adventures to the New World and beyond. It’s worth making the short journey out of town to visit the Monasterio Cartuja, a fabulous Carthusian monastery in the baroque style. Admirers of the poet Lorca should make the effort to visit the Casa-Museo Federico Garcia Lorca in Fuente Vaqueros, about 11 miles from the city centre.

Italian pizzeria open since 2007 . We have a great variety of pizzas , calzones and stuffed focaccia ( over 50) , homemade food like meat lasagna and eggplant parmigiana , and desserts like tiramisu and ice cream. We work with Italian ingredients and high
Having read the positive reviews, I decided to give this establishment a try. Ordered a takeaway Jamon Serrano pizza. The place was busy, most people having a takeaway. Friendly service, fast and efficient. Brought the pizza back to the hotel room, where my girlfriend and I devoured it. Delicious. Definitely lives up to the reviews. Highly recommend Bella Ciao Pizzeria. On a Monday, all of their Classic pizzas are only 5 Euros, very good value.

Local in the center of Granada where they can enjoy all kinds of homemade traditional and modern tapas. A very friendly atmosphere with the best company. We have food for coeliacs and vegetarians. Kitchen nonstop from 13:00 until close at night. Maximum C
Great meal from beginning to end. Good quality ingredients, inventive dishes, pleasant service. The sucking pig with honey and Parmesan sauce was totally delicious...Iâve never had meat so tender. My daughter had it too and didnât leave a scrap. Desserts were decent too.......as was the Melon Gazpacho starter. Overall, impressive and highly recommended. Good work guys......

The welcome was lovely and the restaurant is a beautiful place to sit - we dined with a fine view of the Alhambra by moonlight. The food was ok - perfectly acceptable dinner, and they are good with gluten-free. But it was far from the best food we had in Granada and it cost nearly â¬120 for dinner for two with wine, which was the most expensive dinner we had in Granada. We enjoyed ourselves, but watch out for the bill.

Small, unpretentious restaurant that serves the most amazing dishes.Dont be put off by external appearance of restaurant as it looks nothing special. Presentation is key here and it certainly delivers the wow factor. Every dish is presented so artistically and beautifully. Excellent service too.

We last visited this restaurant when they were still in their old premises, and were pleased to see that they have been able to expand their menu after moving. Service was still extremely efficient and pleasant, and we were brought very tasty tapas whilst waiting for our food to be served. Two of us had burgers (very good, and huuuuge, with great chunky chips) and the other two had paninis served with lovely fresh salad and patatas bravas, making it a substantial meal. My only disappointment was that they were out of lemon drizzle cake on this occasion (I remembered how good it was from our last visit) so I had to settle for Bailey's cheesecake instead. Hard life but somebody's got to do it! Congratulations to the owners and their family for being able to maintain their high standards for so long, may they continue to prosper.Thank you for your very kind review. As a business thats been serving people in Almunecar for over 18 years its great to hear that our customers are still enjoying what we are serving. Sorry about the Lemon drizzle, we cant keep up with the demand even after all this time.Hopefully next time you will get a slice....Thanks again.

September is coming and with it, the end of the holidays. Next Thursday, August 29 we will be back again. We wait for you!
Visited last night with our small children. Followed trip advisors guidance and booked a table before we went. We were not disappointed. Food was amazing and service outstanding. They welcomed our small children (3&5) and offered to make them food off menu. They gave the children jelly sweets in little bowls at the end which was a lovely touch. We went for the goats cheese started on menu and local prawns and fresh fish off menu polished off with a bottle of local Granada red wine. Fantastic food & flavours and perfectly cooked. Little touches of ham, home made meatballs, chupito and home made desert on the house were great. Cannot but recommend to eat here if you are in Granada but book a table to not be disappointed. Note it is located away from the main tourist thoroughfare but easy to find with google maps.

Always keen to try the no 1 on TA in a new area. Sometimes this disappoints and sometimes itâs a clearly earned. In this case it was very much the latter. Booked a table through the TA app and on arrival were seated on our reserved table in the outside seating area, candle lit ready to go.For starters we shared a melon and duck salad which was ideal, the melon and duck a perfect combination and more than enough for two of us.The menu is extensive but we went for the sea bass special. This was possibly the most succulent tasty piece of fish I have ever eaten. Served with potatoes and side veg. Absolutely delicious! For dessert we had a home made mousse and lemon pie. Again these were very good with generous portions. We had water and wine to accompany out meal and the bill was a very reasonable 81 euro. The service throughout was quick and efficient and the ambiance of the restaurant made it a delightful place to be.Thoroughly recommended.

Italian restaurant. All homemade by the Italian Chef. Fresh pasta, Risotto, Meet, Fish, Seafood and the best deserts. Food for coeliacs and vegetarians
The restaurant Divino can be summarized as âthe perfect combination of delicious Italian food and outstanding, friendly serviceâ.Notwithstanding the several tasks keeping him busy in the kitchen, the chef Marco Frontani is always available to tell you some story about his menu: how the fresh pastas are done or how he prepares his own mozzarella. Divino offers traditional Italian recipes with a twist of newness and a great attention to the right ingredients as far as freshness and provenance are concerned.A little Italian gem along the Genil river that will enrich your experience of stunning Granada with a touch of taste. FrancoFranco, thank you for leaving your experience with us on tripadvisor.Good bye and Arrivederci.

Bar specialized in craft beers , we have all local, great selection of national and international beers , both bottled and tap. Enjoy our tapas and plates. Also wide selection of cocktails and gin and tonics . We also include food pairing .
I found this bar on tripadvisor and couldnât believe my luck. I had been very disappointed with a bar we went to the previous night who claimed to offer craft beer but only had 2/3 options and only one on tap. Here there is a selection of at least 20 on tap and many more in vans or bottles you really are spoilt for choice. What I liked most about this bar is that it is so refined more wine bar than normal bar. It has a lot of space between tables and the bar with bar stools and music playing. The service was friendly and efficient. We were offered a tapa but declined this. We enjoyed our beer choices and will definitely return and stay for food too.
