Comemos alcatra de feijão (â¬5,00) e alcatra de polvo (â¬16.00). Bebemos vinho tinto do Douro Cabeça de Burro (â¬14,00). Excelentes produtos e muito bem confeccionados. Doses muito generosas. Restaurante popular, frequentado, sobretudo, por locais. Serviço eficiente e simpático. Muito boa relação qualidade/preço. A não perder.

Our plane was delayed and we arrived in Terceira hungry and tired. Luckily we stumbled upon this cute, likely Cafe where Graca the owner served us a delicious dinner and cake for dessert. There was even a gluten free cake I was able to have! Great value, delicious food and cakes, do yourself a favour and come here.

We happened to stop in after a tour nearby, and we couldn't have been more satisfied with our meal. We ordered mixed skewers, with squid, fish and grilled peppers and onions--so good. And we also tried the fried forkbeard fish, which was perfectly cooked and so fresh and delicious. Appetizer, of course, was fresh Azores cheese and pepper jam with bread. Our server was friendly and helpful, and the prices were a great value. If you're in the neighborhood, definitely stop in.

It was the closest restaurant to our bed and breakfast, but we were pleasantly surprised despite the title "Snack Bar". The location is run by a family, a mother, father and older daughter, and is a bit of a local hang out for some folks. Everyone was very accommodating, the daughter spoke excellent English and we had a bit of small talk about the island, the American presidential debates (we shared similar disgust for both candidates, ha) and the economy. Ordered burgers for late lunch/dinner, and they were very savory and freshly made. I don't traditionally like onions, but the burger came highly recommended and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Kept me full for the rest of the night too! The next morning my mom and I were trying to make it to the ferry or catch a taxi there but were having some difficulty, so we stopped by the snack bar and the father graciously offered us a ride to the ferry in his own car. Very nice people running a very humble business, if you get a chance please go support them!

With spectacular views of the Ocean this restaurant is certainly one of the best finds weâve made whilst staying in Porto Martins. Within walking distance of our holiday home we have made reservations to dine every other evening at Buzius and each meal has been abundant in portions, delicious in taste and so reasonably priced we cannot imagine dining elsewhere. The variety of choices on the menu has allowed us to enjoy different meals depending on appetite. No need for an expensive wine list either as the house wine is very good. By the packed crowds each evening we imagine it to be also a local favourite with families as well. Service has been an added treat with the friendly staff assisting us with our choices and most attentive manner. By judging the number of cars in the parking lot we assume it it also popular at lunchtime.

I popped in for a quick bit of lunch on my way to the airport as I had to change buses, looking for the elusive cracas, and ended up having a very nice octopus dish with 1/2 litre of house wine (â¬2.50- wow!!!). The family were really friendly and chatty.

Definitely worth a dinner if you love simplicity and authentic atmosphere. The staff were friendly and polite, mastered their part here with the boiling alcatra and wine deliveries (some cool tricks were shown here too). The spot is located somewhat further from the center, but it's no brainer, that you will need a walk after eating that humongous portion they are serving there. Would come back next time to try the fish!

The restaurant "O Pescador" is one of the oldest and best restaurants in the Azores. Always with the mission of serving with excellence our customers, serving the best of what is done in the Azores.
Elegant restaurant near the sea serving local high quality food. Nice waiters and international atmosphere, without losing the Azorean essence.Prices may seem quite high at first, but when you get the food served understand it: portions are huge!I had the codfish: it was amazing, huge and delicious, coming with some vegetables that fitted perfectly.I reccomend without doubt! It's great to know you enjoyed dinner here, Shadylau! Thank you for coming and sharing the experience. We look forward to seeing you again if you return to town!

Stopped in for lunch. The staff were friendly, attentive and eager to please. We started with the Octopus Salad, had the whole grilled fish , a glass of wine and a cold beer, finished with some tasty sweets. Everything was done perfectly. A perfect lunch.
