The Plas Restaurant is situated on the High Street of the Historic coastal town of Harlech. It's frontage gives few hints as to what lies beyond. An elegant Restaurant and a relaxing, comfortale Conservatory, with lawns to it's front taking full advantage
Visited on a bank holiday weekend (Sunday lunchtime). The outside tables were taken but got a spot in the conservatory. Service was good. Very polite and helpful waitresses. Meals came quickly. We had a special - crab salad. Not cheap (£14.95) but tasty - only two pieces of bread slightly disappointing though for price. Also had the egg mayonnaise sandwich and a basket of chips - all good. Overall a pleasant experience would visit again.

We normally come several times in the summer and have an outstanding meal!Bearing in min itâs the beginning of a bank holiday weekend , we were told on arrival that 3 main course were off there varied but limited menu! We chose two goats cheese salads and were stunned by the serving size ! Itâs hard to describe how a starter size piece of goats cheese can be cut to an eighth and each receive a sixteenth! You could hardly taste it ! Whoever last years Chef was please come back and raise the standards again !

Castle Cottage is the only restaurant at the top of the steepest street in the world!!. Guinness World Records award 6th June 2019 We have steadily built up a reputation for good food, both locally and with visitors to the area. We source and use as much
Weâve been visiting Castle Cottage for around fifteen years now for overnight and weekend stays, and for the award winning restaurant. Most recently we had dinner in the restaurant at the end of a holiday further along the coast near Porthmadog. In our view there isnât really anywhere like Castle Cottage in the area. The evening started with drinks and canapés in the bar. Loved the local Welsh gin. Spoilt for choice with local produce on the menu from the sea (crab, lobster) and land (lamb, steak), and the deserts made by Glyn. Plenty of decent wine at good prices. Our only complaint is that time flies by too quickly at Castle Cottage. A few hours later and it was time to go ....Hi travellingfrogs! Wow, another top notch review, we are delighted that you love Castle cottage so much, and we are still managing to deliver after all these years. Always a pleasure to serve , can't wait until next time!

my wife and I had a lovely meal here at this Italian restaurant. The food is excellent and plenty of it as my wife had to ask for a carry out box! The service is also excellent considering it's just a husband and wife team with no waiting on staff. A nice friendly atmosphere too. One word of caution, you would need to book as the restaurant is quite small.HI CazCheshirethank you for this thoughtful review we are so glad you enjoyed your evening with us at As.Is it was a pleasure to have you and we look forward to welcoming you back again.kind regardsIsabelle and the As.Is team

We were recommended to visit by our friends. Had lunch one day (crab sandwich special and croque monsieur) and the welsh breakfast on the day we were leaving Criccieth. Really great food and service attentive and friendly. My only complaint... we didnât have enough time to visit again! Wouldnât hesitate to recommend and weâll be back on our next visit to Criccieth.

We ate here while staying in the hotel for the weekend. The food was excellent, with a great selection and complimented with superb wine. The overall lasting impression from the restaurant was the outstanding service we received from Laura and the team, even to the point of opening slightly earlier, allowing us to have breakfast before leaving early in the morning. I would thoroughly recommend eating here and hope to visit again in the future.Thank you so much for the perfect score and for acknowledging Laura and her team, we are very fortunate to have the strong front of house to support the excellence of the kitchen. We look forward to welcoming you back on you next visit with us.Kind RegardMichael and Frances

Fine dining restaurant in the curvilinear dining room of The Hotel Portmeirion overlooking the tidal estuary. Lounge menu served on the terrace (unless a wedding or function has reserved exclusive use of the facilities). Afternoon tea available from 2pm t
We decided to go for the 10 course tasting menu and were disappointed with some of it. The deconstructed quiche scallops and beef were excellent. The other courses not so good. We have eaten at many fine dining restaurants and had tasting menus and their size normally take into account the number of courses. Not so here it was as if they had forgotten we had chosen the 10 course menu and not the table dâhote menu or even the 7course tasting menu. They even gave us one sweet course that was incorrect. We didnât bother with the last two courses as we were so disappointed. Seemed to me that the staff were disorganised untrained and didnât know which tables they were looking after! There was one young lady who to be fair was excellent.

I very rarely give 5 stars to a restaurant, always finding something which could be improved but not at The Moorings. This restaurant fully deserves 5 stars. We have visited this gem three or four times this summer and each time we have enjoyed excellent food, excellent friendly and efficient service and to top it off the restaurant is in an excellent location. I can thoroughly recommend it.

Open seven nights a weeks offering Early Bird menu, excellent value at £20 for three courses. Children are welcome and children's menu is available Fantastic Traditional Sunday Roast every Sunday with a choice of Roast Beef and Roast Lamb. Fish and vegeta
Dined here last Wednesday evening. We loved the lounge sitting area where we were able to sit before a blazing log burner and enjoy a drink whilst perusing an extensive menu. Choices made, our very polite and helpful waiter made note of them and shortly afterwards showed us to our seats. The food was beautifully presented, hot and absolutely delicious. A lovely restaurant, clean, great ambiance, super efficient and friendly staff. Would most certainly recommend.
