The restaurant is by the lake, with a beautiful view and ambiance. The menu is not large but has good options of seafood and pasta. Big wine list. The cover charge is 3 Euros and main course go from 15 to 30 Euros.

An excellent restaurant just on the main road through Carlazzo.Experienced outstanding food quality and service at La Solitaria as well as wonderful views across the countryside to the lakes and obviously the surrounding mountains.Absolutely recommended, the restaurant appears to cater for all and there is a terrifically large range of choices esp. of the wonderful Italian pizzas - none of your ham and pineapple here! Also love the fact the pizzas are cooked in an outside kitchen and you can watch them as they come out to all the tables. So good will be returning for further meals later during our stay in the area.So if you're in the area drop in and you'll not be disappointed.

My family and I had dinner at Ristoro Del Pellegrino. It is situated on a hillside overlooking Lake Lugano. The building is not the prettiest but the views from the balcony are spectacular. The service was friendly, the wine (Inferno, I think) was very good and the food was simple but tasty.Recommended.

I have been several times for lunch or dinner here. The reasons:- big car park just nearby- outside sits - location straight on the lake on a little square closed to traffic - very good for kids- inside there is a corner with tables and toys for kids which keep them busy- highchairs and changing space for babies are available- pizza is good- pasta with pesto or sugo is good- all the rest depends on the day.....The menu is rich but I would strongly suggest to go for a pizza or a simple pasta. It is not the best pizza around, but you know what you get. Last time I have been there I wanted a Valtellinese salad with bresaola + cheese + nuts.Instead I had a huge plate with only lettice. So I decided to check out actually how much cheese/bresaola and nuts where in there and I put together the pieces. it came out to be even less than a slice of bresaola and the same with the cheese. Three, trust me I counted them, three half nuts....I complained with the waiter (not really what I call a friendly waiter) and he came back with a huge plate with all the ingredients BUT lettice....I really wanted a salad and apparently this was the most difficult dish to prepare...I did not dare to complain again as the waiter would have probably insulted me.Some members of the staff are always nice but unfortunately not all of them. Recently I went there two evenings in a row without any reservation. They were very busy and the waiter told me that should I really wished to go there to have dinner every single evening of the summer, I would have better booked before. I understand his point but the way he told me off was very rude.He managed to make me feel "an unwanted customer".Another time I went there with 7 friends and we were almost sent away as no tables were available for such a big Group. We had actually to point out that they could have put together two tables which were actually free to accomodate us. And with big surprise they did so. You might be luckier than us......

At lunchtimes enjoy an interesting range of lighter meals, and in the evenings be seduced by our chef`s haute cuisine cooking served in elegant surroundings. The menu is refreshed regularly, and our kitchen staff will be happy to cater for your individual
we visited the restaurant on several occasions while we stayed on the resort. everything about the experience is excellent, from the maitre de, Roberto, with his magc tricks for the kids, to the amazing waiters. they have a fixed price 3 or 4 course menu, which i would recommend better value than choosing piecemeal from the menu. we chose the 4 course menu. Its was very good silver service indeed. the wines were also reasonable priced and good quality. Evening meals here are an event and be prepared to take your time. make sure you eat in the conservatory area, the other area seems to have the younger families in more of a hurry. they do offer a buffet selection, which suited our kids very well.Dear Gilesford, Thank you for reviewing your recent dining experience at Ristorante & Bistro San Marco at Parco San Marco Lifestyle Beach Resort. We couldn't agree more! I am so pleased to read that you and your family enjoyed your meals and the service provided to everyone. And of course, a personal visit from Roberto "Magician-in-Chief & Head of Operations" himself makes it all that much more special. We look forward to welcoming you back and hope it will be soon. Warm regards, Ristorante & Bistro San Marco Team

Nice atmosphere with lovely outdoor seating. Excellent menu and wine list. Food preparation is not all that consistent but tends to be quite good.Service is atrocious. We went here for about 5 straight years. Fewer and fewer times each year. The service is moody, rude and slow. An attitude of indifference. If you enjoy paying a premium price to be treated poorly then you will love the place. Better food preparation and service is available for less at other area restaurants.

Went here with the family just for the Italian pizza and they did not disappoint! We had all kinds of toppings, all delicious. Good Italian beer also.

I spent several days at camping Darna. Food is simple but good, prices are reasonable, there is a swimmingpool and a super aperitif called happy hour in the afternoon. For these reasons the restaurant is full of young people and you have fun. The place is managed by a wonderful couple, Max & Claudia. She is lovely, he is nice and funny.
